Globe travel centre put together the dream holiday for us and executed it with style and finesse. Picked up by a friendly and insightful man straight from the airport, the trip started with ease and carried on in this style. Everything was carefully planned and we were given great tips along the way of where to eat and what to do. Koda house was an incredible place to start the trip and rest wary heads. The boat tour of the backwaters was unbelievably beautiful and our chef and skipper looked after us very well.
From there we were whisked of to luxury coconut lagoon where we really felt indulged, so much to do and see, let alone time to relax by the beautiful pool. We finished on Marari beach, which was deserted and unspoilt and the lovely Olga and Rupert treated us to a very special time in their Villas on the beach. A great holiday, without having to worry about a thing. Definitely for those who want to experience India with very little hassle at all. Would recommend Globe Travel Centre to anyone and everyone.

GTC has got so many unique and special touches from the moment you land. They have really perfected what a holiday should be and all staff that work at GTC have perfected the art of hospitality. We were met at the airport by a wonderful smiley representative and driven in a comfortable air-conditioned car to a hotel perfect for our holiday. From beginning to end our holiday was faultless, I am so impressed by our holiday experience that this really is for absolutely anyone looking for the perfect getaway. We first met Globe Travel Centre in 2015 and booked a 4 week trip to India and visited the Golden Triangle then "God's Own Country" Kerala in the south.

So in 2016 when we started thinking about Vietnam and Cambodia we made our first call to Globe Travel again. Obviously we dealt with different people and here we met Pat our expert on the two countries. We took our trip in February to March 2017.

We explained to Pat what we wanted to do and why and when and in what order. Straight away she explained that the best way was to do it in reverse from South to North given our mid-February departure for a 28 night trip. Then we dumped the train and then Mekong cruise. Neither of these were missed as we experienced the Mekong Delta by road and little boats (three in a day) and saw daily life close up and in it. Our Cambodia segment was outstanding visiting Phnom Penh and Siam Reap.

Then it was back to Vietnam for Hoi An and Hue and some relaxation then up north to Ha Noi, Ha Long Bay and Tam Coc.

We stayed in 11 different hotels and ten were excellent or better and one was okay (only one night - and not much other choice). We had five different guides and drivers - they were all uniformly excellent .... punctual, flexible, informative and really nice people too. We really enjoyed their company whilst driving around.

Best places we stayed were Shinto Mani in Siam Reap; The Apricot in Ha Noi and the Tam Coc Garden Resort in Tam Coc (preferred this area to Ha Long Bay).

For next year we are looking at some combination of Burma, Laos and Sri Lanka and our first, and maybe only call, will be to Globe Travel Centre.

Brilliant, we were on the move constantly and everything went to plan. I will definitely be booking with them again. I never usually like to recommend as everyone is different but in this instance based on our experience I would definitely recommend.

A true tailor-made experience.Extremely efficient and well organised. Offering great value for money. When we asked to do something they had not organised before (beekeeping in Kerala) they turned up trumps. Based on our experience we are very happy to recommend Globe Travel.

We had a wonderful holiday in Kerala organised by The Globe Travel Centre. All the hotels were excellent and we had a very helpful and courteous chauffeur who looked after us throughout the holiday. All the arrangements for visits and local guides were excellent and the guides were very knowledgeable.

All in all a very well organised and excellent holiday.

Arranged a great tour firvus and looked after us very well when we were out there. The rep in Kerala responsive to emails when we had any queries and tailored the itinerary around us.

I traveled with my wife, son and sister-in-law to Kerala with Globe Travel Centre - A very special trip as my wife's parents came from Kollam and she and her sister were brought up in Malaysia -this was their first trip to India.
Globe Travel Centre put together a bespoke package for us - a 10 day trip Kochi - Munnar - Kumarakom (Houseboat) Alleppey - Kollam.
Everything was outstanding. Excellent hotels, food and service, drivers , tour guides, logistics, special experiences such as Kathakali Theatre, yoga, Ayurvedic Massage and of course, the Houseboat. it was all breathtakingly good. I highly recommend Globe Travel Centre, I honestly do not believe they can be bettered!!

We were two couples all in our 70's Globe Travel arranged for us to go by train from Goa to Kerala. Three nights in a hotel and three nights on a Rice Boat. Everything went brilliantly we were met at the train station on time, we were picked up on time. We felt really comfortable and well looked after. Thank you Globe Travel your staff were excellent from booking in the UK to your wonderful lady in Kerala. Trip of a life time.

This was our second holiday in Kerala organised by Globe Travel and each time we stayed for a month in Gods Own Country, which is a very appropriate description of this wonderful land. We also visited Karnataka with them the first time.
From our very first conversation with Rajesh we felt confident in his ability to give us exactly the holiday we wanted and Pat is good, friendly back up nearer to home. This year we had to change the itinerary a number of times due to health problems of my partner. I constantly apologised to Rajesh but with the innate courtesy of the Keralans he brushed them aside.
We requested the driver that we had last year and there he was at the airport to greet us. Roopesh is an excellent driver, guide and has become a friend and infinitely enriched our experience. Rajesh had put together a great itinerary but you are encouraged to add in anything of interest, or that your driver may suggest as you go. Our first visit to Kerala was with a UK based, very expensive company. They do not encourage free extras but use the same high quality accommodation etc as Globe. The latter however have a much better knowledge of homestays and we prefer those to hotels.
The best recommendation I can give is that having arrived home less than twelve hours ago we are already planning both a Nov/Dec and a Jan/Feb return. Booked of course through Globe!

Charly Jacob from Globe travel listened my needs and requirements and put together a wonderful itinery for a family of 3! The hotels were wonderful and there was just enough travelling between each resort! The travel agent Swapna was just amazing too and was most helpful.

We booked a trip to Kerala and Tamil Nadu through Global. The service was excellent, the drivers and guides were great - all spoke English well and were very knowledgable - and the hotels were of a good standard. I'd be very happy to use them again.

Tour was organised extremely well with great attention to detail.
All staff we dealt with in Kerala very conscientious to ensure we had a great experience.
We would like to visit Kerala again.

The Globe Travel itinerary that Charlie put together was perfect. At every stage of the holiday we were met by Globe Travel staff and any travel worries in Kerala were totally eased. The hotels/home-stays were all of a very high standard and clean but the jewel in the crown had to be The Tranquil Plantation. The situation, the hospitality and the food were of the highest standard and we are so grateful to Ajay and his family for the experience. A special mention should go to our drivers especially Syrus and Joy who looked after us so professionally. For older people travelling to India I would like to emphasise how well we were helped throughout our stay. And Kerala lived up to its name as God's own country. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a superb holiday in Kerala. From booking to returning home, the trip was well organised and all staff involved were friendly and helpful. our accommodation was varied and interesting from homestays to houseboats and we enjoyed the culture, environment and food that we experienced. We enjoyed a two week tour covering many areas of Kerala and we were met with hospitality everywhere we went. We would recommend Kerala as a place to visit and recommend Globe Travel without hesitation. I hope we can use them again in the future.

one hotel needed some maintenance but all the others were really lovely- all had great staff; the trips all worked well and we saw so much!

We had been talking about visiting India for some time and when I found Globe Travel Centre we decided to book a tour of Kerala. From the moment I booked it to the moment we returned home from the trip everything was first class. Rajesh who booked the whole trip for us was excellent and we had long email conversations to ensure that every aspect of our holiday was perfect. We stayed two nights in Kochin followed by two nights in a homestay in Kothamangalam then two nights in hotels at Munnar, Thekkady & Kumarakom. Next we had two fantastic days and nights on the backwaters in a Houseboat & finished of with two night at a beach hotel before flying back to the UK. Thanks to Globe Travel everything went like clockwork and they were there every step of the way to insure we had a great time. From meeting us at Cochin airport at 4 in the morning until their representative saw as into security at the same airport two weeks later for our flight home. The driver they provided us with was Pankaj he was so helpful, informative and nothing was too much trouble for him to ensure we had a truly great time. He really made our holiday something special as well as being good company. I cannot recommend Globe Travel Centre enough they were fantastic.

This year was the third time Globe had organised our holiday, and the second time we had asked them to send us somewhere they don't normally go. Last yer it was Cambodia, this year Laos, both times including a short stay in Vietnam. We could not fault the drivers, guides, hotels they recommended or activities they organised. (Two oldies can pose a bit of a challenge, but Pat listened to what we wanted and organised everything accordingly.) We felt that their prices were modest compared with some of the other tour operators who deal in bespoke travel but there was no compromise on quality. Now looking for somewhere else strange for next year!

We had a great trip to South India in October 2016. Globe arranged the hotels, internal flights and drivers. Their attention to detail both before and after the trip was first class and made us feel very supported and comfortable. I have no hesitation in recommending them to travellers going to India. Their local knowledge and skilled staff will make all the difference to their holiday experience.

We truly had a memorable holiday covering Kerala and Madurai through Globe Travel Centre. Choice of holidays and activities were perfect and tailored to our tastes. Everyone we interacted with, whether it was the team at the UK office or the team in the India office, were extremely helpful and courteous! Remarkable service!!! Exceptional travel company. We would love to travel with them again!!!
