Poor
Had an appointment to fix an issue the engineer couldn't fix on the first appointment. Our appointment slot was 8-1. At 1.30 we had not heard anything from the engineer so rang Glotech for an update. Informed that the engineer was running late (no apology or acknowledgement that they should have provided an update). Engineer eventually turned up at 4... unhelpfully the parts supplied were not correct so the engineer could not actually do anything. I had also raised a query with Glotech during a call that a previous repair had resulted in some damage to the oven. Glotech immediately created a "new job" for the query. The engineer spent less than 2 mins looking at it and told me that the previous repair was not the cause of the damage (which is disputed). I then received a call the next morning informing me that Glotech were intending to charge me £99 for the "repair" as it was not covered by the Blaupunkt warranty. I could understand if the engineer had been specifically called out, but the engineer was in the house, so this cannot be a call out fee. Furthermore Glotech did not inform me when I raised the query, that I might be responsible for any charges.... Funnily enough, over a week later I have heard nothing about the actual issue they came out to fix... I have a large piece of machinery sitting in my house and my hob issue remains unresolved with no update on what is happening????
Update (14/5/24) - I have had another call chasing for payment of the £99 but no actual update on what Glotech were supposed to be fixing
This was the first time I used Glotech and I will never use them again. I placed an order online which stated next day delivery for which they charged only to find out that the product had to be ordered after I had paid. A couple of days later I receive a message to advise that delivery would take place within 48 hours. No further updates and no delivery. Called Glotech and was told product was with delivery company. Called delivery company and they said package was delivered but not on there system to deliver to me. This went on for a number of days and a number of calls. The package was lost and no one was taking responsibility. I had to ask for a replacement product to be ordered and guess what, I had to wait for it to be ordered from Bosch again. Eventually my order arrive two weeks after I ordered which should have arrived the next day. Very poor customer service, no ownership of their mistakes, Glotech don’t know what they are doing and their delivery partners are just as poorly organised as them. A total waste of time and money as I now have to get my builder to come back and fit the part which is going to cost me. Glotech don’t have a proper complaint process and no compensation offered or even an apology. Stay away from then, don’t use Glotech!!
Competent and timely, and the phone staff was great - but the engineer was so incredibly rude to the point that I'll never use Glotech again just on account of that.
Very disappointed in this company. We had a problem with our 2 year old Stoves cooker (a hob top seal) and paid for Glotech to come and repair it. They came fixed it but less than 3 months later the seal had gone again. Glotech said this was OK as the job was still in the guarantee period so came back free of charge to look at it. Couldn't fix it as it now needed a new seal which they said was obsolete. They offered us a discount on a new cooker but we said that was ridiculous, it was only 2 years old and we are both pensioners. They said there was nothing else they could do. We phoned Stoves to complain about the situation but they said the seal was not obsolete and they would come out and fit it. So we paid for a Stoves engineer to come out. They came fitted the new part and 3 months later everything is OK.
I needed to purchase a washing machine for my elderly parents and as I live a distance away, it was proving to be difficult for a variety of reasons. I phoned Glotech as they stocked the right washing machine. Barry talked me through everything, he could not have been more helpful. Delivery was organised for today, the washing machine is in, working and according to my parents, the guys who fitted it were 'brilliant'. A weight off my mind so thank you Glotech.

We have ordered many items from Glotech in the past and recently had delivered a Bosch washer/dryer and Neff induction hob. Unfortunately the induction hob was faulty and required replacing. Steve Kirkum, who we had met when we gave the order for the washer/dryer, took the problem on board and was so efficient in ordering a new hob and arranging for it to be fitted. Steve was an absolute pleasure to deal with and kept us fully informed on the progress of our orders. We will most certainly be contacting him as and when we require any further kitchen appliances.

AVOID! I placed my order on 14th February and I still don't have it! Customer services have told me on multiple occassions that my order is due in tomorrow and I will have it within a few days but nothing shows. I would recommend staying well clear of this company.
Steve from the Sales team is absolutely phenomenal. I had non-stop problems with my microwave being mis-diagnosed and as a result after several months I still had a microwave that wasn’t working. It was only once I was fortunate enough to have Steve pick up my call after countless conversations did something happen. He made sure I was put in contact with the correct staff members and did everything he could to resolve the issue. I am so grateful to him and his perseverance. The man deserves all the recognition!!

Failed to show on a 12-5 slot with text eventually saying booking now another day - no explanation or apology for wasting my afternoon. Note their other reviews are either 1 or 5 stars, that should be a warning that the 5 stars are all fake to bump up the rating. Avoid this lot and trust the 1 star reviews.
I contacted Glotech to arrange for my integrated dishwasher to be repaired and advised them of the fault that the machine was showing, I goggled the fault and explained this on the phone with the booking agent. The engineer reported what I had told them and advised that the repair would be £400, a new machine is around £500. I was charged £100 for the visit and my problem wasn't solved ( they just told me what i told them ) , I was then given quotes to replace the machine ( after a few days of back and forth ) and offered £25 off if I went ahead. Getting a reply to an email took a day or 2 and I ran out of patience. So i decided to speak to a different company who said its rare to repair integrated machines and quoted me less to replace and install a new dishwasher. over all pretty awful experience
Waiting for 6+ months for a washing machine part with no estimated arrival date! If I want to cancel the order, they need to charge me 45% admin charge! That's ridiculous! Do I just need to wait for the part endlessly until I die?
Booked an engineer to look at a faulty dishwasher in Acton, West London. Charge out fee of £89.95. Engineer came round the next day. Turned out one of the parts needed to fix my machine is not available as my dishwasher is so old, but the guy who came round seemed to know his stuff and at least gave me the bad news quickly, so I could get on and replace the thing. Would use them again.

Engineer came promptly to diagnose, remove and order oven filament. But instead of coming next day to install having taken £180 for a part costing £47 inc labour of a ten minute fix to wire up i’ve been left in dark for two days. Glory advise their part has been sent to bybox but locker door won’t open. i’ve been robbed off two days waiting. no one updating me. always saying it will be sorted. expect morning arrival. now i’ve asked for my money back. so i can order the part next day delivery myself. they refuse to do that and refuse to offer any clarity when this will be resolved. meanwhile i have a hungry child. oven only food in fridge. out of snacks and cereal and bread. no money for replacement food. both of us with a cold. i am a single parent who needs this resolved. i’m now on hold with bybox trying to sort out. first attempt to speak to someone they hung up on me. now another person has vanished leaving me on hold twenty minutes.
i’m very unhappy.
I needed a gas hob and oven fitted. Ordering was straight forward but on installation discovered a gas leak and oven wasn't going to fit, Steve at Glotech was so helpful explaining everything and once the issues were sorted Steve very quickly organised installation again without fuss and very patient in answering all the questions I had. A good job was done. Thanks Steve.

A very smooth transaction from speaking to Chris, to source a new dishwasher and washing machine, to the installation and take away old by Lee and (I think) Rob.
My Old washing machine and dishwasher were purchased from Glotech 21 years ago, but have finally just about given up, so it was a no-brainer to return there to replace them! My other main purchase from Glotech was my first, a tumble dryer, which lasted me for 25 years, so you can see why I would go back to them...
I rang and spoke to Chris, who was very helpful in assisting me with choosing my replacement appliances, last Thursday, January 4th, and the delivery team turned up on time this morning Monday January 8th 2024! That is amazing Service in anyone's book!! They were very helpful and efficient, and left my kitchen very clean and tidy. I would recommend Glotech to anybody without a doubt. Thank you Glotech ... until the next time, probably in another 20+ years 😀

Really poor service from Glotech. We had a Bosch appliance which they couldn't source the part for but Bosch could and Glotech refused to refund our callout fee on the basis that it 'couldn't be fixed' when it clearly could. It also transpires they put a big mark up on their parts from Bosch. So in summary please avoid, save yourself some money and go straight to the manufacturer!
I only gave them 1 star as there isn't an option to give no stars. Absolutely hopeless. We ordered and paid for in full for a new fridge freezer on Sat 18th, with delivery promised on Thurs 23rd. When I phoned to check time of delivery, I was told that it was "stuck in the system" and would not be delivered until Thursday 30th. Yet, I've just phoned up to see what time it will come, only to be told that it isn't in yet, and won't be until end of next week. Absolutely unacceptable, do not buy for this company, they lie, and don't call you back.
I went to Glotech for a hob which needed to be hard wired and they have proper fitters who know how to help. The fitters immediately spotted a power difference with my fusebox and showed me an issue with my isolator switch (without touching it or doing anything untoward of course) if this was someone else, like one of the big shops, they would have just left me high and dry - these guys came back with a replacement hob (are going to give me refund for the difference) and advised what to show an electrician to get this fitted safely (they didn't overstep the mark for H&S) but really helpful to be able to give some direction to an electrician. Thankfully things don't break often so i don't use Glotech too much but when i do, they're great. Recommended!
