We needed our replacement stove glass


We needed our replacement stove glass in a hurry. We ticked the collect from store option but the glass was actually dispatched via a courier. After calling in, i was told tough, and we would need to wait for the item to arrive. The glass itself is great, but the customer service was very poor.

So sorry to hear that this happened and that you got the impression that we told you to put up with our mistake, this certainly shouldn't have been the response that you should have received. We have been over-run with replacement glass orders recently and occasionally our staff do get something wrong like sending out collection orders but apologies for this error and the inconvenience this caused. I am glad that when you did receive the glass that it was great and I hope that if you use us in the future you will receive our usual level of service.

Ordered new glass and it was slow to arrive and the wrong size and whilst they said I could ask for a refund they made no effort to resolve the matter

Sorry to hear this, we have been over-run with replacement glass orders, so have had a slower than usual dispatch time, which we are now back on top of but sorry if your order was slower than you had hoped.

I am concerned though that you received a wrong sized piece of glass and that we feel we have made no effort to resolve this, this is no way reflects how we seek to deal with issues. Excellent company

Excellent company. Swift delivery of glass for my wood burning stove. One piece arrived broken and they replaced it without question within a couple of days. Very happy and definitely recommended.

Too long to deliver

Ordered 28 Dec which is obviously not the best time to order but it didn’t arrive until 12 Jan. No mention of long waiting times when I ordered.

So sorry to hear that you were affected by recent delays in dispatch that we have experienced due to the sheer volume of orders that came in over Christmas and the start of the year with the cold snap. We did send out emails to all existing customers and follow up emails to new orders to notify of the delay whilst we threw everything at getting on top of the backlog. Whilst we did get on top of the delay quickly, I appreciate that is no consellation if you were affected by it.

The company pointed out a mistake I had made in my order and advised me of the correct action to take. The advice was clear and pleasant. My only criticism was the delivery cost of $£13.50.

Thank you for pointing your honest review, I am really pleased to hear that we were helpful in getting you the correct product and understand that no-one like paying for delivery. We do try to keep our delivery costs to a minimum but these costs have gone up significantly over the last few years and depending upon how the product goes, multiple couriers, pallets (without knowing what your order was for it is hard to say) costs can actually be significant.
