I absolutely do not recommend GSL. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. A package from Europe took 4 weeks; they just kept it sitting in the warehouse. Honestly, shipments from China by post are faster than this damn courier company. Stay away from them; it's a total disaster.

A parcel recorded as delivered that was not delivered. An automated system that opened cases and replied to none of them. Frustration that built over weeks into something approaching despair.
And then something unexpected happened. A human being got involved.
The professionalism, care, and genuine determination to investigate and resolve my situation was remarkable. My case was taken seriously. The delivery data was examined. An honest and thorough conclusion was reached and communicated to me clearly and without hesitation. No deflection. No templates. No "we deeply apologies for any inconvenience." Just a straightforward, honest account of what the investigation found and a genuine apology for the time it had taken.
The driver who subsequently called to my door did so with courtesy and professionalism. Exactly as a delivery should be made.
Every company makes mistakes. Parcels go missing. Systems fail. Drivers have bad days. What separates a good company from a poor one is not the absence of problems but the quality of the response when problems arise. On that measure, once the right person became involved, GLS Ireland delivered — in every sense of the word.
I must be transparent. I have not yet received a refund from the seller via AliExpress, despite 90 days of pursuit. However, the written confirmation provided by GLS Ireland following their investigation has given me genuine hope that this matter can finally be resolved. Without the intervention and integrity of the GLS Ireland staff member who took ownership of my case, I would have no documentation, no confirmation, and no path forward. That intervention may yet prove to be the key that unlocks the resolution I have been seeking since January.
There are people within GLS Ireland who take their responsibilities to customers seriously and who work with integrity and compassion. I know this from direct experience. For that I am genuinely grateful.

Do not use this company
Refurbed use GLS as their delivery partner. GLS lost my phone and have been extremely unhelpful. I dropped my phone to GLS' drop off zone 6 weeks ago. Nobody will accept blame and I am out €140. Do not use this company
Very very poor!
Very very poor!! Had ordered flowers for my mum for Mother’s Day tomorrow and no sign . I had a weird email to say they were delivered only 10 hours after ordering so I was suspicious! Not to be trusted in my view. Emails bounced back when I tried to enquire so not sure what’s going on ..

Second time this happened so far in 3 months. Waiting in all day with a video doorbell working and they said it would be delivered then I get a message saying they tried to deliver but I was absent which is a lie. Then same message next day saying package will be delivered today and still waiting. Rang Irish number and spoke to an Indian woman who could only tell me she texted the driver to say it needs to be delivered today. When I asked if she can ring the driver she said he won’t answer phone call or text!! This is an important package(medical) for my dogs. Rubbish delivery and rubbish help over the phone. Companies need to stop using them as they are unreliable

Worst Parcel Service! Shop officer: no parcel here, please do not trust the GLS tracking information, come back tomorrow. Parcel returned, without any information. Nothing works! No answer! Frustrating!

I have been waiting for the second part of my delivery from GLS for the past 5 days. After many emails and phone calls they still haven't given an answer as to where and how it has been misplaced. I have given them the information that they required via email but they didn't even bother to answer, and days later I am still waiting. They are the worst courier company for customer support.

Didn't deliver…
I received tracking number of delivery that provided no tracking information, they then tried to deliver when I was in work and said I wasn't there..no email or contact made...just back to depot with parcel .no idea what's going on now. No way to contact them

I was expecting the packages to be delivered yesterday, on 03.03.26, but then I checked the website, and it said Not delivered. I was not home, and the delivery driver didn’t ring my phone number or text. I would have been at home if only the delivery rang or texted before or at the time of delivery. Second day emailed GLS Ireland and called customer support local hub, and even explained and told them to inform the delivery driver to call me or send me a message before delivering, so they noted and then during the day i check website, and it says again Not Delivered. No phone call from the delivery driver or text message, nothing. 30 minutes later, I called customer service again and explained again new redelivery has been made for tomorrow.

I cannot express how awful this company is. I had a medical device being delivered and for 3 days it didn’t show (the origin company had paid for next day delivery). I spent over 3 hours on the phone to GLS explaining I was house bound without the delivery and was promised twice is was en route. I was called a liar, shouted at and made cry. They’re entirely ignoring a formal complaint and there’s no other recourse.

Parcel delivered to wrong house
I had an order of pet supplies being delivered by GLS to my home in Ireland. Although GLS had my correct EIR Code they delivered the parcel weighing 25 kg to one of my neighbours houses about 100metres away. Fortunately my neighbour called me to tell me my parcel was there.
There is no excuse as each house in our road has a different EIR code and our house name was on the order and on the gate to our drive.
I have emailed GLS but have had no response. I have complained to my pet supplies company in the hope they can instruct GLS to deliver to the right address next time.

GLS emailed me that a package was out for delivery, took the day of work as it was important. Didn't arrive.
Checked the website and it said that they didn't leave the package as no one was home.
That was totally untrue. A lie
Calling and emailing Customer Service yields nothing.
They don't care.
7 days later they don't know where the package is, the driver is "not responding"
Two more deliveries have disappeared.
The sooner GLS go out of business the better.

Ordered a parcel from Lithuania on the 9/2/26, its been nearly 3 weeks and still havent received my parcel.
Apparently its in Ireland since the 19th and GLS Customer Service dont know where it is, advised me to wait another 9 working days to see if they can track and resolve this issue.
Avoid this service if you can.

Parcel not delivered and report shows a false signature. I opened a complain, haven't heard from them yet.

If only zero stars was an option. Gls had my parcel for 3 weeks and despite my spending hours on the phone and writing emails, they just returned it to the sender BUT FALSELY logged it as being delivered making getting a refund from the retailer very difficult.
Today, after 20 days, I received an emailing responding that the package was delivered. Their chat bot does not work. Impossible to get a response for weeks via email. Every phone call means on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes. One phone agent was very polite and confided in me that any refund on missing parcels is taken from the driver's wages. Who owns this sham? What kind of operation are they really running? They're not serving regular customers anyway so who knows what they're delivering
