The board is great! I can fold it and store it almost anywhere. It saves up space and makes you feel like it won't get in the way.

I got the Classic Lite (30") and I'm 5'5" so it's perfect.

But here's the PROBLEM. On my second day of using it, it wouldn't stay locked while unfolded.

So doing an ollie or using the tail to maneuver left or right would just end up with the board wanting to semi-fold back up again.

I almost fell when I used the tail and that's when I knew there was a problem.

I'm e-mailing Bin Lu the inventor and owner. I sent him a picture and video where the tab was bent. Because of the bent tab the locking mechanism couldn't keep the board locked.

He e-mailed saying that if it doesn't work he'll mail me a new one. I hope to get a new board and hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Otherwise I'll just get my money back and buy a non-fold-able board. I hope I don't because I love the idea of this product.

Boardup is amazing.

The board is a great design and is very convenient with having the ability to fold it up and carry it using the handle. The ability to carry it using the handle is excellent especially whilst commuting through the busy city with crowds of people (based in London). Would definitely purchase again. Bin was very helpful and very responsive to emails and queries.

Yeah, I got my dual motor board and it is amazing. I'm quite impressed with the performance upgrades as well as all the smaller upgrades. Big fan of the metal plate on the tail,so the tail doesn't chip, and the new rubber padding for the mid-section make it a more stable ride. Also, major kudos for putting the parts on risers so the board folds up thinner. All in all, very impressed. BoardUp's dual-motor board could give a ton of other boards a run for their money, and at great price.

Paradigm shift! This has seriously been the biggest game changer. I've been looking for a way to get around during work layovers when I'm stuck at different hotels around the country and this longboard has been a game changer. As a pilot, transportation is pretty limited to on-foot, uber, or public transportation. Folds up into my luggage, takes up minimal space, folds out full size. Its super sturdy, takes a beating on all the various roads, and holds its own.
Dealing with the company during purchase and a small repair on one of the wheels has been incredible. Seriously such a breath of fresh air dealing with such a down to earth, awesome group of people.
Super innovative product and a real game changer to travelers everywhere.

Hello, I enjoy the convenience of board up, however, the folding mechanism has been giving me some issue. This board was bought brand new and the fact that it's giving me problems only a couple weeks in is concerning to me, especially for the price I paid for it

This is my first experience longboarding, skateboarding, or otherwise. I am 6'5 and 210+ lbs with size 14 shoes and this holds me just fine. It's really great for my commute. I ride it to the Metro, fold it up and then ride about .5 mi from the Metro to work. I fold it up and store it under my desk! I save like 30 minutes a day now from my commute.

It's a very well made longboard but one of the wheels makes noise

I am a college student, and honestly having this compact board to bring around easily and discretely around campus is very convenient, and allows me to get around off campus without having to pay for Ubers. Great board!

I ordered my board on July 31st and was told that it would ship in 4-7 days. After two weeks of waiting I received a 100$ refund and was told that there was a 40 day delay for the next shipment. I followed up October 3rd... ~60 days later with no board updates... No board... I canceled my order, got my refund and ran. 1 STAR:
In what world does it take two+ months to ship a skateboard... . What a waste of time... Don't buy from them. They're horribly unprofessional and unless you want to wait a year for the skateboard to ship it's a total waste of time

Originally I loved my fold-able longboard. But the shortcommings of the board have become clearer for every board I've bought since. And currently I'm using a Teemo for my daily commute.

The fold-able longboard is way too soft. Foot placement is very important to avoid scratching the bottom of the board unless you are a kid.
And the E-add on is not something I can recommend either. The single hub motor is not strong enough on it's own. And it feels more like a helping motor than anything else. No to mention the bad instructions for installing and difficulty installing. Plus the less than stellar help when corresponding.

The hinge is a good idea. Everything else needs work.

He emailed me directly when i had a problem ordering through his website. I messaged him, and he emailed me back within a week, and fixed the problem! I really appreciate that kind of attentiveness.

Not only that, but i told him i wanted to get this board in time for my Sister's Birthday, and he helped me make that happen!!! My sister's thrilled, and so am I. I would happily recommend BoardUp to my friends, based on the service from Bin.

Finally had the chance to bring and experience this board during my travel last week. The board itself is a little heavy to carry around and the handle is not comfortable to carry around for long period. I had to change my hand from time to time because the board is a little too heavy. The board itself however is very comfortable to ride around and the folding mechanism do really stands up. I also had problem bringing it onto the flight in Malaysia Airport because board it self still looks like a blunt weapon for them.

Excellent! The Boardup was exactly what I was looking for in a board. Bin was very quick when returning my questions. The shipping was extremely fast as well. Arrived one day early! I can't wait to upgrade my board with the hub motor for this.

Smooth ride, great bearing, light weight. Boardup has been my go to for travel around town. I received many compliments as well at the shore. How have people not heard of Boardup by now?!
