GO Kombucha is the UK’s longest-established and most respected kombucha tea range. Since 2003 we’ve brewed raw, unpasteurised kombucha the small batch way using the best organic teas and mineral-rich, purified spring water from our well deep in the Sussex countryside. We never use mass production processing techniques such as pasteurising, filtering or synthetic probiotics for shelf stability as we don't supply retail, so our kombucha has more gut-friendly microbes and beneficial yeasts than any processed “kombucha drinks” sold in supermarkets or on Amazon. We only bottle in glass - never in porous polymer plastic-lined aluminimum cans which studies have shown can leech into live, low pH drinks, building up cumulatively in the gut over time - and we never add synthesised sweetners like erythritol or setviol glucosides that can irritate the gut lining causing bloating, diarrhea and cramp - the very conditions our kombucha can help aleviate! GO Kombucha is a far healthier option than processed sugary drinks, a satisfying alternative to alcohol, and a great mixer for cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. True to our small batch craft credentials, we keep things small and only supply a discerning customer base direct via our web site. Love love love !!

Have not yet received my order - will be happy to review once I’ve tried!!
Received and absolutely love love love!! It’s difficult to say which is my favourite flavour but I’m enjoying working on it!! 😍

Best Kombucha!

Go Kombucha is the best on the market. I have purchased several times now. Would highly recommend. It would be good if they offered a loyalty scheme, but doesn’t stop me buying. Communication on delivery is excellent and packaging is brill.
Would highly recommend.

Great drink Great Compamy

Just received my second order in a month from Go Kombucha never tried Kombucha before and have been alcohol free for over 3 and half years. Tried Kombucha and the brand as I follow Davinia on instagram and she has a huge amount of knowledge of the mind, body and gut working together and it’s such a refreshing drink. Love the China White and the Green Sencha have ordered others to try.
A case in my last delivery was damaged by the courier but Go Kombucha informed me and sent out a replacement.
Great drink and great Company!.

Ridiculously fizzy

I ordered from 2 different companies. I found the komboucha from here ridiculously carbonated! The lids blew off and drink sprayed everywhere on the first 2 of the large bottles we have opened so far and it wasn’t pleasant to drink due to being over fizzy. The Komboucha ordered from the other company was far more enjoyable.

In response to the reply below - I did receive the leaflet and the drinks were stored are directed in the fridge. They still fizzed everywhere when opened and were unpalatable due to excess fizz

Your response is downright rude and completely unprofessional! I expected when you offered to replace it would be sent out - you never asked me to contact you. And I don’t exist on your database??? Would you like me to post a screenshot of my order here?!
Will never order again. And my review stands. And you have shown your customer service up in this disgusting response- furious.

Hi there, very sorry to hear you were not happy with your GO Kombucha experience. What makes GO Kombucha different from the variants of kombucha sold in shops is that it is not processed for on the shelf stability; it's 100% whole and alive, so therefore produces its own natural effervescence. We include a letter with orders guiding you on storing and 'burping' our kombucha via a link on our web site, and crucially during the warmer months we advise storing the bottles in a refrigerator on receipt to calm the yeasts and stabilise the product during warmer weather like we are now experiencing.

If you missed this guidance please email us and we will happyily send a duplicate order to you that you can refrigerate on receipt and enjoy without so much naturally onward fermenting carbonation getting in the way. We strive to make every customer experience a good one and so I hope that we can fix this for you!

REPLY TO CUSTOMER'S RESPONSE: Dear Emma, really sorry to hear that. We have been in business for 21 years and you will see from all other customer posts on here that this is not usual. Clearly something has gone wrong, and I suspect your order was dropped somewhere en route. We actually use a specilist courier and pay extra for their "glass with care" service which means all orders are moved by hand and never put on belts, as shaking up the bottles will cause them to become overly fizzy as you describe. We'd still like to put this right for you and send a replacement totally free of charge with our best wishes. Please note that the kombucha you are comparing us to is likely to be processed in some way to make their product stable, particularly if they are in cans which require pasteurisation. Our kombucha is 100 per cent whole with nothing added or taken away, so our customers do expect a livelier producy but not as you have described. Again, please accept our sincerest apologies for whatever led to your order becoming overtly fizzy.

FINAL REPLY: We replied offering a replacement free of charge as clearly your order was inadvertently shaken up en route or dropped by our courier to make it as excessively fizzy as you claim, which we apologise for. Yet you haven't accepted our offer of a free replacement so we can do no more.

Yours is the only such post complaining of too much fizz out of 266 reviews and if this were a recurring problem it would be reflected in the reviews posted by our discerning customers, many of whom have purchased GO Kombucha for many years because it is the only 100 per cent authentic product on the market and the benefits they derive are many.

We can only assume you decided to leave a bad review come what may as you won't accept a free replacement and your tone is constantly aggressive. If you're content with kombucha that is processed, pasteurised and/or filtered to stabilise for sell in retail (we sell direct to customer only) that's your choice. We can do no more to try to help and put this right for you.

FOOTNOTE: Far from "taking the mick", you posted your review under a different name to that which you ordered so it was impossible for us to identify your order from your Trust Pilot name alone. If you check you'll see that is so. As it is we located two previous customers called Emma Brown, one who last ordered in 2022 and a one-off customer in 2021. That's why we asked you in our very first response to please email us and we would have been able to work out which order yours was and gladly sent a replacement free of charge.

Our company policy is to do whatever it takes to ensure no customer is left dissatisfied with our products or service, which is why your misunderstanding, sadly, is one of only two aggressive ones we have received in 3 years of running this account. Again, the offer still stands, but you will need to email us at info@gokombucha.co.uk ideally with your order number so we can identify what to replace and where to resend the replacement to. Gary

Amazing Kombucha

Having read great things I thought I would give Go Kombucha a whirl and wow I am so pleased I did. Fantastic company with amazing ethics, great communication and most of all the most delicious Kombucha. I have tried 3 different varieties, all lovely but so far China White is my favourite to replace the old vino. Will immediately be ordering more, thank you.

The Real Deal

This is exactly what kombucha should be like. I started drinking kombucha when I quit alcohol as there are very few decent AF drinks around that taste amazing. Also because gut microbiome is so important to good health and cognitive function. I'm convinced that GO kombucha is the gold standard for taste, health benefits and also knocks it out of the park on business ethics. I'm a new customer, but a permanent one now. Thanks GO Kombuchites!

Delicious - you’ll get hooked!

We’ve been getting kombucha on subscription for quite a while now and it’s totally replaced alcohol. It’s difficult to choose a favourite, the komsecco is perfect for a special occasion and the mixed cases lovely for everyday drinking. It’s light, refreshing, bubbly and delicious. Delivery is always pretty quick and everything is so well packaged.

Great!

I’ve been alcohol free for 60 days and I really could have cracked a bottle open last night BUT instead I poured a glass of fizzy kombucha which was light to taste so not so obviously kombucha, coupled with a glass like wine bottle, and it really did stop that crazy temptation! Thank you.
