Cold called me. Not acceptable

I have been helping a friend with the settlement of her son's estate. He tragically passed away at a young age. This firm is handling the estate on behalf of the son's partner, with whom he had two children. Both the son's partner (children's mother) and the son's mother filed for Probate control. To facilitate the settlement of the estate, which rightfully and legally passes to the young children, my friend agreed to allow this firm to handle the estate in exchange for certain conditions. Ann Pryce-Jones promised that we would be regularly updated as to progress and to provide monthly financial reports. Ann passed the case to Jessica Blackmore who has wisely left the firm. The case was then passed to Shernaz Motivala. All agreements have been broken and trust violated with continuous excuses and what we feel is deception. Ann has broken every promise and agreement. We have no idea as to the current status of the estate. The son's home is being seized and the funeral home has not been paid after five years. Additionally there is over £200,000.00 which is unaccounted for and all emails are ignored. I became suspicious, pushing for answers and what we agreed to. The response to that is that they can no longer communicate with me based on advise from the Solicitors Regulation Authority, which ia a lie. We are reporting this behaviour to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and other authorities. I am hopeful that this review will prompt them to honour their agreement. However, given the other reviews on here, it seems that we join the majority who have been hornswaggled in some way. My friend is rightfully sick over this and I feel quite stupid that we agreed to allow them to handle this matter. There are plenty of alternatives out there for you and I heartily recommend that you choose a suitable law firm to handle your wills or estate matters. My friend and I feel rightfully deceived and misled. This has been ongoing for over two years.

Abysmal service. Supposed to be managing amendment request to my elderly Mothers will, for which I have POE, after much issue they issue draft copy stating must be reviewed. Having reviewed the document, everything detailed relates clearly to another client as there are numerous names detailed who are nothing to do with our family, the revised document bares no relevance to original will. Very upsetting for my mother. Wrote a strong email to Bradley Miller asking for a call back to discuss, no reply. Rang several times and left messages as per their company answerphone instruction, no reply. Eventually Bradley answered a call, made no attempt to apologise, refused to discuss matters with me, said nothing more than I will send your Mom something in the post for her to sign. When I asked to speak to a Senior Partner he said no and put the phone down. Unsurprisingly nobody answering the phone again.

Shocking service. Arranged appointment with Bradley Miller, waited for call and got nothing contacted him to be told he was sick but nobody bothered to inform us. Re-booked for 10am today - still waiting 😡 will be taking our business to someone reliable now

We used Good Wills for a few different services and i have to say they have been great. Naz who visited us at home initially is so knowledgeable and friendly and the staff in the office handled any of my queries straight away. A great family run company! Highly recommend

This was my first rodeo getting a will written so I didn't know what was needed. But Naz was great from the start, with a really friendly, personal approach through the whole process. Stacey was also really supportive and efficient with final sign off. If you need any life admin support, I would recommend this company.
