What's with the choppy green lines on maps looks like it's not loaded properly, clutters up the map.

google doesn't post my reviews anymore, as it doesn't follow their policies, and cancelled some which have been online for years..., so I don't contribute anymore and start deleting my reviews

my first review attempt was disapproved by trustpilot so now I am trying again with a fraction of the words

1 Streetview is still a godsend, but other than that I prefer Mapy.CZ. That's all. And you can imagine why my first review attempt was banned.

2a anyone can leave a totally meaningless empty review on any place in the world. I can rate a national park in Svalbard without any verification, no explanation no pictures, just five stars...

2b ... but if someone doesn't like your review it gets flagged down. Now, I know what you are going to say, that's because you used sensitive words. But I really do mean it, a review of mine was deleted because someone didn't like it. What did I write? Something about a city garden not looking like a city garden because of the lack of trees. That's all.

Not that I care, no really, because I understand clearly what type of game they are playing at, but here is where I draw the line writing reviews for places, I will spend that time and energy supporting Mapy.CZ now.

La mia esperienza negativa riguarda le recensioni. Sono una local guide livello 7 da più di un anno. Fino a due mesi fa circa tutto a posto. Recentemente però quasi tutte le mie recensioni non vengono pubblicate. La prima volta c'era la possibilità di fare ricorso, cosa che ho fatto, la recensione è stata rivista e infine pubblicata (evidentemente andava bene). Per le successive però non c'è possibilità di appello, viene solo detto che la recensione viola le norme di google. In tutta onestà, penso che sia un problema dovuto ai loro controlli tramite algoritmi che ovviamente non funzionano. Le mie recensioni sono sempre scritte in maniera educata e, dopo averle riesaminate e fatte riesaminare da parenti ed amici, in tutta onestà non sono riuscita, in base alle norme google, a trovare un motivo valido per non pubblicarle.
Inoltre, ho cercato di contattare l'assistenza, cosa difficilissima. Ad un certo punto credevo di aver trovato un canale, ma la risposta che ho ricevuto è stata: "grazie di averci contattato, speriamo di aver risolto il tuo problema. Partecipa al sondaggio sulla valutazione dell'assistenza". Questa è stata la loro assistenza. Ovviamente il mio giudizio al loro sondaggio è stato negativo, pur educato e con suggerimenti.
Ho trovato sul web che tanti altri utenti si trovano nella mia stessa situazione e il problema non viene risolto.
Spero che stiano facendo qualcosa perchè così com'è non è più attendibile.

Google map is best application that clearly guide location of every place, I'm use past 2 year.

Google Maps will completely remove your review if the business has said it does not recognise the name.
It's very difficult to stay anonymous to leave reviews because the businesses will report them and have them removed as not recognised customers.

I notice one dental surgery I used and was charged for work removed my review.
I only wanted others to know they are charging me every week to have teeth cleaning £55 each time.
Even when you are on the NHS.
TOTALLY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.

Posted several reviews. None have been published and every attempt to contact Google is being totally ignored... At best I get a robotic generated mail as reply.

Totally useless support.
Apparently Google sees them selves as higher servants who doesn't gives a s... about its users.

Die App ist im Großraum Paris unbrauchbar, da Straße und Fahrspuren falsch angezeigt werden! Internationale Autobahnen werden mit Nummern benannt die auf keinem Schild stehen! Das ist mangelhafte!

Zu viel Input statt Konzentration auf das wesentliche. Überfrachteten App für Handynutzung unübersichtlich. Besonders schlecht: Umstellung von den Transportmittel schlecht!!!

Maps that let you see street view? Check. A system that lets you plan your journey from A to B? Check. In depth detail of bus routes, journeys and stops? Check. The traffic systems works partially with monitoring other peoples journeys who are also using google maps. The more people using it, the more accurate it is. I'm not sure why many here are complaining about this. It's a free software. If you want something that's going to provide you with more, then hope you're all ready fork out a ton of money every month, or go develop your own if you're that unhappy with this. Google maps is there to guide and advise you on your journey, not provide you with tarrot card readings to look into your future.

Non permette di lasciare recensioni negative su un luogo, ho provato poco fa a metterne una, ma appena esco dal mio google account e ricontrollo : la recensione negativa non esiste, la vedo solo io dal mio google account, infatti il posto che volevo recensire negativamente guarda caso ha solo recensioni positive.
Mi è già ricapitato anche in passato di non poter lasciare una recensione negativa che riflette la mia esperienza.
