we enjoyed a 2 week trip to europe that included the cities of prague, vienna, and budapest. we don’t like to travel on a tour because there isn’t a lot of flexibility. i decided to hook up with go real travel. we could design our trip according to how many days we wanted to spend in each city. we were given a list of hotels for each city. they were very good. we chose each one according to our preferences. we upgraded to first class train tickets. they made all the arrangements. gave us more than enough transportation tickets for each city. we were also given a print out of every city’s things to do with detailed directions. it was easy for us to flip flop some excursions to other days or times. they provided personal tour guides for each city that were very knowledgable and a pleasure to spend time with. all in all it was a wonderful trip and we were glad that we chose go real travel. myles rieger was my main contact throughout the process. he provided the best customer service. joan mawby, cleveland, ohio

My husband and I had a fabulous trip to Naples, Sorrento and Venice
GRE guides were amazing. Prompt, knowledgable, friendly, fun to be with..Our driver was on time and very nice in Naples. Our hotel rooms were awesome in every city. The hotel locations are strategically located to aid you in maneuvering through the cities...I suggest booking only superior rooms..we had a major glitch in Venice but Grace immediately solved our reservation issues and we ended up having a wonderful time there. The attention to detail with instructions was amazing. Very helpful as we journeyed through many cities. We will definitely use GRE again..

The trip was better than we anticipated! The tour guides and drivers were wonderful and knew just how to navigate us so we avoided crowds. The hotels were very nice and well situated! Everything seemed to run like clockwork, yet the trip was flexible and relaxed. When we got home, my husband was ready for the next trip with Go Real Travel! Thank you for making this Anniversary celebration perfectly memorable!

My husband, myself and two close girlfriends of mine just completed our second trip to Europe with GoRealTravel - moving slightly more east to take in Croatia (Dubrovnik and Split), Hungary (Budapest), Poland (Krakow and Warsaw) and then a swing back to Amsterdam.
Everything planned for us in terms of travel, pickups, guided walks and hotels was excellent, as it was on our previous trip.
The information about, and suggestions of, places to visit and things to do and see was also excellent and really helpful in terms of routes and transport.
All our accommodation was great. One place even had a lovely swimming pool to use, another a spa, pool and sauna we could access. If a hotel wasn't in the immediate downtown or old city area, it was on an easily accessible public transport route with clear instructions for train or bus use plus, in 3 cities, the actual tickets needed. It was in fact nice sometimes to leave the 'touristy' main areas and escape back to our peaceful hotel after a crowded day.
Everything ran like clockwork in terms of what had been organised by GRT for us. It really is the perfect way of travelling in a mostly independent way but with all the hassle of booking accommodation and travel, tours etc taken away. We look forward to our next trip with the company.

Go Real Travel really enhanced my traveling experience.

I traveled through Budapest, Vienna and Prague and Go Real arranged everything so that it was painless from my end.

The information they provide is very detailed, it tells you exactly how to navigate the European rail system, for example, and helps you figure out how to customize your trip to get the most out of your time abroad.

I personally prefer not to do guided tours so I can go at my own pace and focus on what interests me. With the support and assistance Go Real provides, I felt confident traveling on my own.

However, if I had wanted to do guided tours, I could have - the company can hook you up with vetted locals, and there is a lot of flexibility. I would imagine if someone wanted a completely guided experience, they would be taken care of as well.

The representatives of Go Real that I dealt with were all very professional and courteous and quick to offer me solutions whenever I had a request or an issue.

The driver they arranged for us from Vienna to the Czech Republic provided us with much of the history of the areas he took us through.

In each city we were provided with detailed maps and descriptions of interesting sights. We always had a phone number we could call for help. Also, Go Real was able to get us train tickets, bus passes, etc., up front, which saved us hassle, and in some cases also saved us money as Go Real was able to get discounted fares.

Having Go Real involved made it easier and more fun to travel in Europe. I would definitely recommend Go Real to friends.

My husband and I have taken three European trips with GoReal Travel. Each time, we have been extremely happy with the service they provide. They have consistently provided us with great hotels, wonderful private guides (as needed), and friendly, reliable drivers. Of course, they also make travel arrangements for trains and buses, as needed. To top it off, they supply us with a very detailed itinerary, so it’s easy to find that train station, museum, beach or monument! After years of planning our vacations on my own, I feel that GoReal is the perfect mix of avoiding tours yet getting professional help.

I was travelling for the first time as a 'solo traveler' and was impressed with the setting up and handling of my trip. My trip did not start off very well, but to no fault of Go Real Europe, my airline at first delayed the flight three times before cancelling it altogether. I just stayed in touch with my agent and Myles and Paul made sure that my driver was there to pick me up twelve hours later. The rest of trip went wonderful. My guides were all knowledgeable and made me feel like two friends were out for a stroll. I also enjoyed the fact that the guided trips were all one on one. The hotels were all close to the train stations and old town cities I was interested in seeing. Any questions I had, were quickly answered. Very good trip and will definitely recommend.

Excellent customer service (Justin always replied to me quickly, even after our trip was over), exceptionally detailed itinerary (step by step directions to every where). We would definitely recommend this company to family & friends and use them again.

The trip was fantastic. The hotels were great, the tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful and the trip was well organized with the pickups and drop-offs from airport to hotel etc. A few minor items such as taxi coming at 5 in the morning instead of 5 in the evening and mistyping of train numbers on the typed itinerary versus the ticket and I wasn't able to get any email response on the trip but whenever I made phone calls to the company then I did get call backs.

Our Trip with Go Real Europe was exceptional from start to finish. I received great advice and booking help from my trip adviser. Every hotel and tour guide was wonderful. The detailed trip instructions were tremendously helpful and made navigating each destination easy. I've already started booking our next trip with them!

The entire experience that we had when using Go Real Travel for our travel around Croatia and Slovenia was good!! All the staff that we corresponded with via email were not only a delight to talk to but were super helpful, helping us in every step of the holiday be it queries on the places we were going to or purchasing of tickets and other logistical issues.

Although the team at Go Real Europe were always ever ready to help, we still did face some hiccups along the way but they were minor. For example in the itinerary provided there were some minor confusions found in the instructions to the purchasing of the Plitvice Lake tickets. We quickly learn from the hotel that we were staying that it did not matter which entrance tickets we bought because we could entire from any, but it is still important to purchase them before hand online.

My family and I also feel that in certain points of the itinerary could use a little reshuffling as we found ourselves, at times, lost with what to do. For example, when we were in Slovenia for a 4 day stop over, we felt like it was too long as Slovenia was a small place and had only a few sights to visit. Furthermore, we found out that when we arrived there on the 15th of August it was a public holiday in Slovenia and everything was closed, including museums and various tourist attractions.

Overall, Go Real Travel is still a good option when you want a free and easy travelling style but with a certain structure and guidance. They are definitely worth giving a try and we would definitely use them again especially for going to places in which we have no prior knowledge on!!

ps: do not let the hiccups deter you, they are just for feedback to the people at Go Real Travel so that they can improve their already excellent itinerary and help other travels have an even better time in Croatia and Slovenia

My wife Linda and myself planned a trip with Go Real Europe last year (before they became Go Real Travel) in October 2018. The trip was to Poland where we flew into Warsaw, and subsequently took a train to Krakow. It was a wonderful and meticulously crafted tour. Our guides were knowledgeable and prepared. The breakfasts at the hotels were exceptional, and they provided perfect Vegan- option food for us. Our emotional journey to Auschwitz was an exceptional experience.

Overall experience was ok. The accommodation, guided tours and private transfers were good and professional. The only dissatisfaction is the hotel in Zagreb which was not a good choice. It was situated in the outskirt, we had to take 6-8 stops via tram to reach the city center. Besides, there were no restaurants near the hotel and the cafe in the hotel itself closes at 1.30pm. The trains were also not a good choice of travel. They are slow and time consuming. The travelling from Zagreb to Budapest took 6 hours because the train stopped at almost every station. We later found out that a coach only takes 3.5 hours to reach! On top of that, the train stations are quite unfriendly. Most of them do not have a lift. We travelled in a group of four, with two elderly among us. We had four big luggage and four small luggage, so ended up my sister and I carrying the bags up and down the stairs which was extremely exhaustive and that part of it was indeed a mood killer.

Great experience with Go Real Travel
We used Go Real Travel (former Go Real Europe) for the first time to organize a trip to Prague, Vienna, and Dubrovnik. All aspects of our travel were flawless - the hotels were excellent and at the best location, all our transfers were at the station to meet us and pick ups from the hotels were on time. We were really impressed with the local guides who showed great knowledge as they showed us around their local city. Instructions on the use of public transport and how to navigate each city were provided in great detail which made navigation of self guided tours a breeze. We have no hesitation in recommending Go Real Travel.

Clay Copland did an excellent job preparing our itinerary for Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Vienna and Budapest. Transportation, tours and hotels were arranged for each city. Everything was well organized. Clay listened to our needs and planned accordingly. His selection of hotels and tours was perfect.

We traveled to Italy back in July 2019 (My husband and my two teenage daughters). I must say we had a great time. I contacted GoRealEurope to kind of help us with our trip. They did an OK job. They sent us a link with 126 pages full of information and things to do as well as directions and restaurants to go to and different things to do and see. That did not bother me because I had the time to read and do my own research on top of that.
I liked our travel agent, he was nice. It took him a couple of days to answer my questions, but when he finally answered he was very helpful. There were a few things that you need to be aware of, always do your "own research" because not everything is explain to you. For example: I didn't know you needed to reserve tickets to the Vatican museum, Colosseum and other important sites. I found out on my own by checking on YouTube videos.
Another thing that happened to us, was that our lovely travel agent who was so helpful and nice suddenly was fired and I got an email from GoRealEurope saying that we had a new travel agent in case we needed anything.
Well, this was very confusing since we paid for a "private tour" to take us inside the Colosseum, but sadly we never saw this private guide. When I asked, noone knew anything! We ended up in a "group" tour instead. The new travel agent had no idea what I was talking about....(sigh). Anyhow,We made the best of it, because we are a happy family and my kids had a good time no matter what. But I never got my money back from paying for a private tour.
When we went to the train station the driver drop us off at the entrance and took off. It was so confusing inside that place! Noone told us where to go or what to look for. We were on our own in there, Thank Goodness for the information booth! Give yourselves plenty of time!
We really walked everywhere and took a few taxis. Italy is a beautiful country, I would come back in a heart beat, but I will do this on my own next time. Blessings!!

The recommendations were sensational. Every detail as to train and transit arrangements were perfect. The tour guide that we used was really great, and the shuttle services to and from train and airport were on time and very nice. I had to call as we were delayed at customs, and the issue was handled right away. I can not recommend more enthusiastically.

We had an amazing trip to Italy! We did Venice, Florence, and Rome. We had walking tours and other fun things in each place, but our favorites were the day trip to San Gimignano (outside Florence) and the food tour in Rome—amazing!!

Recently returned from a 15 day honeymoon trip to Rome, Florence, Venice, Vienna, and Prague. The itinerary made by Go Real Travel was incredible. Danielle was nice to work with and was very responsive to any questions we had. Every day was planned out perfectly and included directions, facts, recommendations, etc. The hotels were all very pleasant and included continental breakfast which we quite enjoyed. The tour guides Go Real Travel set up with us were amazing. Each one was knowledgeable and extremely passionate about their respectable city. We had only two issues: a tour scheduled for a different time than what was in our itinerary, and a hotel booked for a night we were on an overnight train from Venice to Vienna. These things did not impact our trip drastically. One thing I would recommend is going over the itinerary with a fine tooth comb and making sure everything makes sense and seems reasonable.

I would definitely use Go Real Travel again!
