Poor communication, poorly packed items with several damaged pieces. At quoting stage we were told items would absolutely be in New Zealand within 14 weeks, however as soon as contract was signed the prices went up and more money was required, and our delivery was 7 weeks late (that’s 21 weeks Australia to NZ) so we had to ‘camp out’ in an unfurnished home as Grace had held our shipment for 3 months in Adelaide. Poorly trained staff with little knowledge of international shipping or customs requirements, and we had to chase reluctant staff for updates. Really the low-light of the year for our family. Will never use Grace again.

Staff assisted on line enquiry are helpful and informative I do value the grace removalist staff on my phone enquiry as well the time of delivery of the goods .

Exceptional service from beginning to end from first contact with Michelle the customer service representative to Anthony and the boys who delivered our furniture. Will definitely be using Grace for future moves

The Grace team that packed all of our belongings, essentially our whole life was absolutely amazing. To start with Joel's customer service was above what we had expected. He really tried to make our experience as comfortable as possible. He opened with a joke and told us about his 2 year old son and made an effort to get to know us. Having people in my house and touching all of my belongings always makes me a little nervous and the team was so lovely I didn't have to worry.

Karnell overheard me and my partner talking about a lost remote piece and 5 minutes later came out holding the remote piece and my spare keys that had been lost for about a year. This just shows the above and beyond effort of the team, as you could see he really cared about the customer.

The team of 3 had to weave in and around 2 kids and a dog that were constantly in the way. The boys were really patient and it didn't worry them at all.

I had a chance to sit back and watch them, from what I can see the team had really good communication skills with each other and were really careful with all of the belongings. They even looked like they were having fun.
We also had to make adjustments to the inventory and the team made it really easy.

Narelle has been dealing with out quotes and paperwork. Apart from being sick she has been really easy to get a hold. She has been fantastic with keeping the move within our budget :)

Even going into their office it was easy to pick up boxes. Grace has been fantastic so far I really appreciate the customer service :)

We recently used Grace when we moved from Darwin to QLD.

The boys collecting our items were very helpful, friendly and hardworking. They made sure that the furniture was packed securely and safely.

The boys who dropped off our furniture were also very friendly. They didn’t put our furniture together which we were told they would be. This was a tad disappointing.

Some of the boxes were a bit crunched and broken once arrived. To be expected.

The lady who initially spoke with us in Darwin was very friendly and helpful. But just after we booked and secured Grace, she stopped all communication. She didn’t respond to our messages or phone calls. We thought this was very unprofessional. Luckily, another lady in the office was able to pick up the slack and help us out.

Overall, we were happy with Grace and would use them again. We just didn’t appreciate the lack of communication from the sales lady & the boys not putting together the furniture even though we were told they would be.

Fantastic service from start to finish. The Removalist in Darwin was amazing an the Removalist in Melbourne was amazing. Price was reasonable an I would recommend to others.

I was super impressed with Grace Removals right from the start. Narrelle from Darwin was extremely professional and nothing was a problem. I’m quite fussy and she went out of her way to satisfy my needs. On the day of moving, the team came around and packed and labeled everything. They where all really nice, professional and put us at ease knowing all our goods would arrive safely. Our goods arrived on time and all intact. Once again the team were all really friendly and professional.

Moving made easy. Very efficient, professional and provided helpful advice and options like what to “keep safe” to find easily when unpacking at the other end. Handled all items with care.

Highly recommend Grace Removals friendly and efficient staff both in Darwin and Alice Springs. All my things arrived in good order and the guys who did the uplift in Darwin were punctual, respectful, friendly and handled my belongings with care as did the guys who did the delivery in Alice Springs. Michelle in Darwin and Holly in Alice Springs were polite and helpful , would definitely use Grace again in the future.

Sadly a very challenging and arduous ordeal. I understand depot's and staff may be busy and under pressure, but at no time did we feel we were the customer here. It always felt like hard work and very very frustrating.
I am sorry as I don't usually leave negative feedback, but in this case I would greatly recommend using alternate services

Update- Alarming that the National Customer service team responds swiftly when the feedback is negative. if only the remainder of the experience was this way.
Lets hope that the insurance claim for the damaged items will be dealt with as quickly.
Not alarming considering the ordeal, but the funny thing is even after the delivery of our goods has been completed, we have received a bill for the storage of our items when they are not even in storage.

Needless to say we will be deleting that email / invoice

initially thought might be a bit expensive but considering time and distance involved was happy with price

Our move coincided with the birth of our child which would have been very stressful but with the help Paul, Michelle and crew from Grace Removalists, it was made easier.

I really enjoyed moving with Grace. The service was excellent: friendly, prompt, flexible and reliable. I was assisted in the lead up to my move and the staff helped with multiple changes to my consignment very professionally. During my uplift staff were very timely, communicated clearly, and made the process run smoothly. The staff went above and beyond to get my fridge and dining table through a rather narrow doorway at my delivery address. They were friendly, calm, careful and committed as they problem-solved. Receiving a call after my move to make sure everything went well was a delight, and I only had positive things to say. I was very impressed with the service from Grace. While I could have completed this move, which was small in volume and distance, more cheaply through other means, I am pleased to have had such an easy and smooth move because I moved with Grace. I can only imagine the stress Grace would save me for a larger move.
