Everything was great. I read through the process and reviewed many options. I went with Grailzee and had a great buying experience. Everything went as expected. It was an easy and efficient process. The communication was excellent and I had many resources to ask questions. I was extremely pleased with the process and I received an elite timepiece. When I started the process I didn’t imagine it would go this well.

This was my first purchase using this type of format so I was a little hesitant. I must say the whole process was super easy and the communication was above and beyond. From the moment the auction ended I was contacted and walked through each phase of the purchase process. Even the follow up after I received the watch has been great! Will definitely use again.

Terrible Experience – Misleading Auction Platform

My experience with Grailzee was extremely disappointing. The site presents itself as an auction platform, but in practice it feels more like a marketplace for retailers trying to sell watches at or near full retail prices.

Time and time again, I found watches listed with what appeared to be auction opportunities, only to discover that all had high reserve prices that were seemingly never intended to be met through normal bidding. As a result, you can spend days following listings, researching watches, and participating in auctions, only for the item not to sell despite what appears to be genuine bidder interest.

The overall impression I was left with is that many sellers are using the platform primarily as a marketing channel rather than a genuine auction venue. If a seller has no realistic intention of accepting the market price generated through an auction, then the process feels pointless and frustrating for bidders.

Very convenient way to purchase. Love the confidence of the authentication process. Worth the fees for the piece of mind. Purchased to watches so far and always looking for more to add to the collection. Thank you Grailzee for providing such a great service

I have bought and sold several watches with Grailzee and they are the epitome of professionalism. Every transaction is seamless and prompt and customer service is outstanding.

I have to be honest, my first experience with the App was a bit clunky. There was a few hiccups and some negative experiences in the overall app experience. If you are on the App make sure you go to the website to check FAQ's and shipping to fully understand the fees associated with the purchase. I will say I had nothing but an overall positive experience with the customer service once I had some initial concerns. The Grailzee team over communicated and even called to get feedback on how to get better. Not an automated survey, Ethan called me to hear my concerns and to really saved my overall experience. Well done to the team for exceeding my expectations.

Got the watch I was looking for a third less than retail. It was quick and easy and have been loving the watch! The seller was professional and the turn around time was great

I bought a grand seiko which included extra links in the add. I recieved my watch without the extra links. The seller put them in the box when they shipped it to the authentication center but they were never sent to me and now all I get is the run around...there are hidden fees. You pay 250 to them for the certification then they try to get you to buy an appraisal for 125. Not to mention its over 110 dollars to get the watch shipped to you. Really 110 to fedex a small box to me...in the end any good deal you get on the watch is lost with all the fees and by not getting what you paid for.....and by the way if you are not happy they still keep the 250 they charge you up front.

So I just wanted to update my review. Its funny I could not get anyone on the phone until I put in a 1 star review..but anyway they did find my missing links and for my time they credited me the 250 fee. When you get to talk with someone they are helpful I just wish I never had to go through this process. Still not a 5 star experience but definitely not a 1 star like I originally gave them. I hope as they grow they work out the kinks..

I am thrilled to have my new watch. The item was quickly authenticated and shipped. It arrived exactly as described. It is beautiful and I will enjoy it for many years.

Massive spam engine. I have requested to be removed from all the email spam and I end up getting more and more spam, it is to the point where I receive 10-15 spam email a day. There is no way to unsubscribe. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO GRAILZEE under any circumstance

I worked with one of the managers Alex and they went above and beyond to answer my questions. I was hesitant at first and decided to try again after I messed up a listing. With that said, the watch sold higher then what I bought it for so I was super happy!

Very happy. Good, attentive, staff who do their level best to get deals done. I have purchsed 8 or 9 watches so far from multiple buyers, had bids fail but had team members help close post-bidding deals, or at least try. Any concerns I had (when I first started) were handled quickly and satisfactorily. The authentication process has, so far, been fast and accurate from both Bennison and Grand Central Watch - turn around time being 24 hours or less from their receipt of the watches from Seller and watches going out within 24 hours of payment. Have not disappointed me yet.

Easy process. Authentication process worked well. Very happy with the watch and how Grailzee worked.

Great mixture of finding a market making platform while still providing great personalized customer service.

Gives both the buyer and the seller scale to find / sell in a great way but also provides authentication and decreases financial risk via their payment / validation process.

Biggest highlight though is getting the efficiencies of the online tool but still quickly responding to emails, speeding up things, working through shipping details with an ownership mentality and personal touch by their Operations Team...

Bought my wife a very nice watch on Grailzee and admittedly, it's unnerving to spend that much money on the 'hope' it all works out -- the Ops / Support team supported throughout all the steps and walked us through the nerves with both assurances & actions to make both sides of the deal feel protected and resulted in a great transaction... and a very happy wife who is wearing an awesome heirloom-watch starting the day it was received.

They make the process super simple, 100% trustworthy and my watch arrived within 4 days of winning bid.

The company was a communicative intermediary. The authentication report was appreciated. The app seemed to manage the transaction steps well. When I had a question, a human being was promptly responsive by text message.

Grailzee offers a compelling option for watch purchasing that isn't quite available elsewhere. Yes, it's auctions (there are also set price items) but the fact that you can have a line of dialogue with a seller if you don't hit their reserve means that it's not really over until someone says "Thanks, but no thanks".

Pricing is obviously dependent on each seller and Grailzee doesn't control that. Sometimes they want too much considering what the market will actually bear, and those watches just don't sell. For the sellers working on volume or willing to find a compromise, watches find new homes (like mine!)

Grailzee does everything right here. Yes, as a purchaser you have about a $300-350 commitment on top of your bid to cover their fees plus shipping to get the watch home to you, but in exchange for that you're getting authentication from one of 4 or 5 well-known and respected authenticators in the country who will tell you outright if the watch wasn't represented appropriately (reproduction, undisclosed issues/replacement parts, damage hidden from photography) and you have recourse at that point. Assuming it clears, you're the proud owner of a luxury watch for (at times) a fraction of other sites.

Long review, but one I think needed writing. I was hesitant about this process, and it allowed me to get a watch that had been just out of my price range for years by working with a seller offering a fully serviced Omega with provenance at a cost I could stomach. Thanks Grailzee!
