I've bought on Grailzee before, but this was first experience selling a watch anywhere online and nervous every step along the way. I was bracing for a problem - but it never happened. The process from submission thru sale was so smooth that I will probably not consider another method to sell a watch in the future. Thank you Grailzee

I've used Grailzee for a couple of watches with good results. This time was different and left me with some doubt about the process.
I bid on a watch, and before the auction closed I flagged to the seller that the reference number in the listing didn't match the model described. He said Grailzee had helped him with the reference number and confirmed the listing was accurate. I ended up winning as high bidder, then contacted Grailzee support right away to say I wasn't comfortable proceeding given the reference number discrepancy.
Their response was to point me to the Bennison authentication report. I have a copy of it, and it lists the same incorrect reference number as the listing — a different case size and dial color than the actual watch. I declined the purchase based on that. The listing was later reposted with the same reference number error still in place.
Worth noting for other buyers: cross-check reference numbers against the manufacturer's actual catalog, not just the listing or authentication paperwork.

I am currently traveling out of the country on vacation and I had a couple issues with some of the watches I recently auctioned. One was a defaulted buyer that Grailzee was quick to step in and reauction the watch. The other was a watch that upon collection by the service center required a service (perhaps damage in shipment). The team stepped in to get a quote, notified the buyer who still wants the watch, and have been communicating with me the entire time. I wish I had this level of support from other sales platforms. Thank you Frank and the entire GZ team!

I've been selling on Grailzee for probably around 3 years now, started selling while working for another business and then immediately joined after starting my own business just over two years ago. Just closed a sale that had a slight hiccup with watch condition and they were great at showing detailed pictures and informed the buyer to find out if they still wanted to proceed. The team is very quick to communicate with you, very helpful and great at assisting with closing sales, along with navigating the process. I know they're not perfect, but they make a lot of effort to provide customers with great service.

2 weeks from winning auction to watch in hand. Excellent communication from the team and app provides a progress state along with videos show what happens at each stage. The authentication report is very helpful and made me feel comfortable I was buying an authentic product. Very impressed and easy to navigate for a first time user. I recommend to friends.

From he beginning to the end was easy. The notification of auction ending soon to purchase was flawless. The customer service contact made this very easy. They explained everything in detail. As a first time purchase this was greatly appreciated. I will definitely buy again soon. And I will recommend to anyone.

Easiest purchase I have ever made, the rep stayed in touch with me the whole time. 7 days from close of sell to my door. Should have been quicker but that was on me not getting the wire quicker. Definitely buying again.

This app is probably the #1 app to use for selling and buying watches. I saw they also have some other luxury items like purses and stuff which I don’t use but good to know. As for watches, they conduct a thorough review prior to listing to ensure it meets their guidelines. They expedite their process to ensure your watch can be listed quickly and without any errors. They facilitate a smooth transaction when it comes to facilitating a payment as a buyer. When selling, you send them your watch and it’s authenticated with an incredibly indepth report. Pictures, condition, a pass/fail process of what they test and their commitment to how the watch was compared to the online listing. They ensure you are 100% satisfied with their authentication prior to allowing the funds to go through. It protects both parties involved. eBay doesn’t even match this level. eBay might just tell you its authentic but does not go through the testing to advise you if it has mechanical issues. They also don’t provide you details of their process including pictures. Grailzee is here to help both the buyer and seller. I will continue to utilize their services.
