We just registered with grant me, we got our first session. The session is only 30 minutes and they spent it all showing around the portal, they didn't even discuss universities, which was our main concern. I paid 4+k cad for 12 half hour session. I don't think this will work

It was great to get insight on what I should do best for the next time we meet. My mentor helped jog my memery. I'm excited to see what other great ideas we can come up with together

The program helped me solve a few confusions with a particular application process. My mentor had also reassured me a step-by-step process to make sure I am successful in my application.

I've had a great experience with GrantMe. I find them really helpful for writing/reviewing my essays, and they make the application process much easier!

All the things given for scholarships and previous essays have been lots of help. The editing for essays help with fluency. Everything is just a little fast to understand and comprehend. But that’s all. Everything else is very well done.

Grant me does an excellent job of marketing and roping you in with a slick sales pitch. They give you stats suggesting that most of their clients get scholarships etc etc . Our experience was that they repeatedly pressured my daughter to apply to scholarships for which she was either not even eligible, or marginally eligible at best. Ultimately despite hundreds of hours of work and retrospectively discovering she was ineligible for many of the scholarships she applied for, my daughter got absolutely nothing out of the program. The inefficiency of a cookie cutter program requiring her to apply for low probability and or ineligible grants was beyond frustrating to my daughter who was already working very hard at her gr12 coursework and extracurriculars.

Ultimately there were too many problematic things about grant me to list here, including very poor customer service. At the end of the day it a an UTTER waste of time and money. To quote my daughter “dad, I’m sorry but I think grant me is a scam” .

Literally a scam.

Addendum - my daughter independently was awarded a 40k scholarship to a top rated university outside of the grant me
Program, indicating her abilities as a student. So this is not sour grapes.

Kashish and I talked about upcoming scholarships and discussed a plan, this was helpful for me to stay on track for writing my scholarship applications.
Kashish gave me options about how I wanted to proceed with our next meeting. This was very helpful!
Kashish also allways gives an email meeting recap which is helpful for finding my next steps and future meeting.
I appreciate that she takes the time to do this.
Overall, thank you so much for all your help!

easy to navigate, generally knowledgeable and well-prepared

I felt like I was getting the help I needed. There is a lot of improvement from when I first started till now.

Very good about doing what is best for the individual and making things work.

I liked the website a lot it was very easy to use and see clearly my list of priorities and what I need to get done.

The support was very clear and honest, as well as taking the time to ensure everything was accessible on my end.

My first 1-1 meeting was so helpful! Muzamil was very kind and considerate. He didn’t waste any time when beginning to construct my plan and goals. I feel less stressed knowing that I am being guided by him and his team in this busy time. I look forward to more sessions!

Something that made my experience great was the in depth 1 - 1 help I got with scholarships and applying to Universities. I was walked through on steps on how to be the best applicant possible.

Everything was explained to me in a way I could understand. I am not confused about anything. The process of my first steps were introduced in a way that is clear and not overwhelming.

She was very nice and simple to talk with. I really like listening to her voice, I like that she is soft spoken and very understanding.

My advisor, Kashish, has been incredibly helpful. She is kind, encouraging, and is able to help and answer any questions I have. With her help, my admission process has been very smooth.

I found GrantMe to be an excellent resource when it came to applying for scholarships and preparing for university. I feel more prepared and confident than I would have been without GrantMe's comprehensive support, including essay editing and scholarship tracking. I receive thorough explanations of the scholarship and university application process from my account manager, who cultivates a supportive environment where all my questions can be answered in detail. The meetings could be a bit longer at times, but I am very satisfied with GrantMe's services overall. My educational goals have been helped greatly by them.
