Since purchasing my Kia Optima from Gravells - Kia Bridgend in 2022, there have been consistencies in issues since within the first 6-months of purchase. I was informed that a standard "thorough service" was performed prior to taking the car from the site. As always when purchasing a new car, I took it to my trusted mechanic to get it checked. The result was that NO oil change was performed and that ALL filters had NOT been changed. Evidently, this "service" was not conducted - if it had been, all of the above would have been changed as a standard car service. "As a courtesy", the car was brought back in for a service where the filters were changed, the thick sludge for oil was changed, and the break fluid was changed. Fast-forward a year - the Master Cylinder and ABS had failed due to the issue with the breaking fluid - the only ones to have changed the break fluid, as stamped, was Gravells Kia Bridgend. A thick green unknown liquid was throughout the breaking system leading to the Master Cylinder and ABS to fail at the same time - costing me an additional £2500. Unexpectedly, they had initiated that my trusted mechanic for over 30-years was at fault. I was swift to shut-down such an accusation attempt that was made to divert away from the real instigators of the issues. Immediately taking the car away from the garage after the "repairs", my engine light [yellow warning] comes on with issues to the accelerator on the middle of the motorway, to which I had to pull-over during evening commuting time. Fast-forward 1-more week; the engine is making a strong, deep, intermittent noise which seems to be associated with the timing chain/clutch. The latter issues were NOT apparent when I took the car into Gravells Kia - Bridgend, however, all started immediately after leaving there.

At present, this case has been forwarded to the Motor Ombudsman, and a trusted solicitor, who is currently reviewing all collected evidence - videos & pictures from the thick, sludge, oil upon purchasing, the stamped book in which Kia Bridgend had confirmed the break fluid change, reviews conducted by my trusted mechanic, and each money-centered correspondence from them.

I would STRONGLY recommend that should you be in the position to search for a new car that you stay well away from GRAVELLS KIA BRIDGEND.

Always excellent service from all the staff at Gravells Kidwelly. I've had my last few cars from them and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Gareth is great from start to finish and always on hand to answer any questions you may have even stupid ones!

What an amazing experience from start to finished with Daniel Thomas in Gravells Bridgend. I recently purchased a Kia Sportage and Daniel’s service was 10/10. I recently became eligible for Motability and was fortunate enough to be able to choose from several different options, including some premium makes.
What made the difference in making my final choice of a Kia Sportage was the Friendliness, Honesty and Communication of Jason at Gravells Narberth.
Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the Motability scheme, he also allowed us a test drive in his own Sportage !
Even though there was a long lead time, Jason kept me informed throughout the process and provided honest updates about when the vehicle would be available.

We popped over to Swansea in September looking to upgrade our Sportage 3 to a Sportage 3 Hybrid, while there talking to Mr Bilal Rass, We had a chance to Test Drive a EV 6 GT line S. It was WOW WOW WOW, we went back and changed our minds. Bilal took us all the way though from start to Driving away today in our New EV 6 GT Line S, we are very very happy.
