I need to find a new place to get a haircut. I've been a Great Clip customer for several years and have learned there is wide variation in talent and experience. You're either going to love it or spend the next few days shopping for hats. Yesterday was a hat shopping day. The nice person.who cut my hair at the Hershey location.needs further training. I asked if she could use scissors and not the clippers on the sides. BIG MISTAKE, The result overall looks like I have the mange. Patchy, uneven areas with wisps sticking out. No transition of layers or blending. Yikes. Just awful. I bought barber clippers today to remove the mistakes and just take it down. Again. Nice person ..horrible stylist

Horrible haircut honestly, usually get Nicole but she was busy today and I really needed a haircut so I thought why not just go get a haircut anyways. Got this lady who I think has never cut hair in her life. She didn't give me what I asked for at all, asked for half an inch all around and to leave more hair towards the crown. She proceeds to cut all the hair off of the sides and the back with her clippers and not blend it with the top at all. Honestly didn't listen to my instructions at all and very in experienced worker. Will never make the mistake of going to great clips Market Place 42 in Savage Minnesota unless Nichole isn't working. This lady should be fired and never be let cut hair every again. I mean this is going to take weeks to grow back, honestly really the worst haircut i've ever had.

I have been to great clips many times. Wow...the stylist must really not have liked me much. She didn't even cut parts of my hair, bangs totally uneven. I asked for a trim and she just sheared me down and left pieces uncut, bangs totally uneven. Then just slicked over so I coundn't tell . DO NOT GO HERE!! Short summary... My son has been going to great clips for over 8 years for haircuts and I had my mom mistakenly take him to the Chapel Hill location. The stylist (older lady with Grey/blonde) hair did not listen to the instructions of "just a trim with scissors" , my son's hair was 7 inches long, and now it is 2 1/2 inches long. After it was explained to her to just use scissors, she asked my son if she could use clippers after my mom left the area and he said "Whatever works best" because, he doesnt know how to do hair, And doesnt realize what exactly clippers are for. I went there that night to explain to the hair stylist why i was upset for my son, she made excuses that we didnt communicate what he wanted ,,,but then i asked her about how she was told to only use scissors and she asked my son about the clippers and her response was, " do you just want a refund or what?? NO APOLOGY. So I called the manager Stephanie to explain what happened and voice my sadness for my son and I was NOT apologized to from her either, however she proceeded to tell me she didn't know what to do and couldn't put his hair back on him,??? Which was very professional of her. Just go to another location if you want the stylist to do what you asked for. That stylist needs hearing aids obviously and the manager needs some managerial training.

If I could I would give the great clips at major MacKenzie zero stars.....started off my daughter and I went to get our hair styled. I did the check in on line and when we got there the ladies were very rude and said they didn't know anything about it. I know someone that works there (wasn't there today) but she spoke with the manager and the manager informed the ladies we were coming. The manager said it was one price but the one lady made her own price (and it was more). I was willing to pay that price she said but then I had asked her to do my daughter's hair (showed her a picture) and was rude again. Then I was told there was only one flat iron that I would have to wait.....I asked how long because didn't have the time. Again was rude and said didn't know. We ended up leaving and wasn't happy at all. Customer service today was horrible and nobody should be treated that way.

I went in as usual to get a haircut at the Smithfield NC location and normally have a coupon but was having trouble finding it. I expressed to the lady I was having trouble finding my coupon and she stated that their is a current $9.99 coupon. I assumed she would tell me how to obtain it but she just stood there not offering to help me figure out where online I could get the $9.99 coupon. I spent about 5 minutes researching in my phone trying to find it when I eventually found a $9.99 coupon. She looks at the coupon and in a nasty voice says that's not the right coupon. After her rudness I decided to not get a haircut which didn't bother her as she proceeded to go sit down. A few days later I found a $2 off coupon and went back and to my surprise she was the only available stylist so I had no choice but to let her cut my hair. My plan was not to let her but I did and because of her previous rudness I did not leave her a tip!

I got a haircut a couple days ago at the Great Clips at Cheyenne Commons shopping center. It literally is the worst haircut Iâve ever had in my entire life and generally I donât say anything, but it is awful. I asked for curtain bangs. I asked for layers throughout,I asked for it to be a little textured and it looks worse than stuff I have given myself in my bathroom. It literally is so bad that my 17-year-old daughter offered to bring me somewhere else and pay to get it fixed. I contacted Customer Care which told me that location would be reaching out to me and I have yet to receive any type of contact. I know there must be a way to show a photo as to what I had shown her. I was trying to get to what I actually received, but I cannot figure it out. I have thick hair. My bangs were the same length as the rest of my hair which is long, so I had more than enough hair to do what I was asking for. Iâve never had a colic in my bangs in my life and Iâve had bangs often. Now Iâve got a colic, even my layers in the back look like she just cut them straight across and are like not blending into any of the other hair. It just looks like layers that are cut straight across a different links.

She did blend the layers in the back so they do look more cohesive now but unfortunately with the bangs, itâs like she said weâre just gonna have to let them grow up before we can really do much with them, but I did appreciate her having me come back into fix it

I would give this stylist Tawny or something a negative if I could. She didn't listen to a think I asked for I wanted an inch or 2 off she cut it to an inch or 2 long in the back. The back is 2 damn inches higher up then the front. She made rude comments about my hair, my growth pattern ans even stabbed me with her scissors. I told her clearly I have textural issues ans needed it a certain length and way. She shaved my damn neck and did a fing fade up. I had a long bob with bangs ans not I look like a balding karen. It's horrible and I would take a hairless dog back to her.

The Great Clips in Freedom Square is beyond horrible!!I wouldn't even let the stylist finish me cut! She didn't listen to what I SAID and The other stylist just began chopping away. The worst part was her ATTITUDE! I had had the other stylist (Mela) once before and she was having a very bad day and took it out on me. I chose not to have her this time. I don't know her name and I think she was too embarrassed to put on a tag. I should've checked their rating. It is a 2.6 (poor). I think it should be LOWER. I checked in the morning and there was no wait. Checked a little laterand still no wait. I pretty sure why this Great Clips is not used. Rude and very BAD ATTITUDES live there.

What didn't go wrong? I ask to have 1 1/2 inch off my hair but it was still longer than the last time I got it cut. I said cut more. She said okay but the back with be shorter too? huh? Anyway she ended cutting off 3 and said next time tell them you want it cut at the hairline. Not sure what that means. Also she didn't want to blow dry it meaning I had to go out in 6 degree weather. When I got home I ask what my family thought of my haircut and they said what happened to it. In their defense the previous haircut was perfect. It is a hit and miss there. Never ball your clients out for blow drying their hair saying it isn't good for the hair. Excuse me?

Great clips on Woodbourne Road in Levittown just screwed up my husbandâs hair so bad. He had the most beautiful silky hair, but the idiot that cut it used a shaver and shaved him bald.
