Nicola Goody was brilliant and made the whole process so easy. We didn’t even realise we could claim but she took control of the whole process and leaving us with very little to do apart from what to do with the rebate we received!

Received a cold call from this company, even though we are on the Commercial Telephone Preferences (TPS) list. The fact that they do not appear to comply with legislation around marketing should be a severe warning sign.

Not only this, they got through to me by insisting that it wasn't a sales call, it was a "networking" call. Either way, let's face it, it was cold-outreach, client acquisition. Or, what most people would call a "sales call".

Buyer beware. Do you trust a company whose opening approach is (a) apparently in breach of regulation and (b) dishonest over what their intention is?

Before you decide to sign up with any R&D company, please do your research. We made the mistake of trusting the process and it backfired to the point where HMRC accused us of trying to fraudulently claim money we were not entitled to. Please do your research, read all the details thoroughly, and only agree if you are close to 100% sure you know what you are getting in to. I have given a 3 star because everyone at Green Jellyfish that i dealt with was friendly, polite and professional. In hindsight however, i wish someone had told me about the possibility of a 'fraud accusation' (regardless of how small) as this may have made me think twice about whether to proceed or not.

Were able to get my claim done as promised!

Just received a cold call from "Rosie" from this company. When told that our accountant takes care of our matters like this and we were not seeking any help, Rosie still insisted, speaking over me, that she talks with the company owner (half is mine anyway) and wanted a direct line to speak with him. This was rude and demanding. If at a later date we did decide to seek guidance on R & D tax credits, or another company owner was asking for recommendations, I know who I WON'T be recommending!

We've just recently started working with Kyle Allison of Green Jellyfish and he's done a terrific job for us. The instructions of what we needed to do were clear and Kyle had incredible patience with us understanding the issues with a busy business. Great service, very reasonable pricing and saved us a lot of money. What more do you need?

So I got contacted by a salesperson, who convinced me to have a meeting with one of their advisors. They were not pushy at all and were professional throughout.

However, through the conversation with their representative, it soon became apparent to me that I was probably too small a fish for them to bother with. That's fine and I even suspected as much.

However, as I'm an ltd contractor my company's yearly accounts are publicly available online.

Indeed I have been convinced you'd have already checked that first before going through the whole process which meant wasting time, not to mention getting me all convinced and excited only to ghost me in the end.

I'm usually highly suspicious of cold calls, and will continue to be, but I'm very glad I listened to this particular call. Once I had checked out Green Jellyfish's credentials and the R&D tax credit scheme they were talking about, I went ahead, they made a successful claim for me and the money has arrived in my company bank account. It was as easy and trouble free as I could imagine to get what amounted to bonus money. Simon was friendly, thorough and explained everything very well. I'll be contacting them again next tax year and I can recommend them very highly.
