Joseph at Green Jellyfish did a great job, and we had a decent tax rebate, so we're happy with the experience. We didn't do a lot other than come up with what had been done over that time, so all in all it's been a great experience.

Green Jellyfish got us an r&d tax credit. They were great, especially Kim!

Richard from Green Jellyfish, as well as Miles before him, have been excellent and proactive in making my claims to HMRC and recouping substantial returns for me in return. My accountants wish they could do this stuff.

Kim Bestalinks account manager for 2021 and 2022 R&D, was brilliant totally pro active and informed Bestalinks on almost a daily basis, pushing for the information she needed to complete our claim, if I had a work force of Kim's Bestalinks would make alot more money, I have recommended three other companies to Kim excellent Job.

The Green Jellyfish did followed up my complain and frustration that the HMRC fund was credited to my company bank account. The affair was resolved satisfactorily.

Green Jellyfish was submitting claims for the year of 2020 and 2021. Payments were taken for both years and for the year of 2021 everything was fine, R&D return received. However for the year of 2020 it seems that nothing was done and HMRC cannot see any records or claims made. We contacted Jellyfish about it and received multiple promises to sort this out, but nothing happened. We then asked to do a refund of the fee made for that particular year and this still not happening. Their phone line is not working and emails we are receiving are only with further promises or asking again for more information, which they already had. I will delete this review after refund will me made.

filled out all the info and they put in the claim, this was paid.
Now HMRC have rejected it, their outside firm has been poor and I am now facing a fine from HMRC.
Green jellyfish state that they have 100% success rate if the claim is rejected. They have not told us if they will pay back their 15% or if they are expecting me to.

I have tried to contact you, however you use K&H as a buffer, you have refused to get on a call, you have refused to give me any information as to how you calculated the amount and you have refused to answer any of my questions. Customer services, will not allow me to speak with anyone with any tax knowledge.

The start up service was great. For the two year I submitted both the advisors were really efficient, however when the claim is submitted the service quickly went down hill.

Firstly over six months later, no money in my account for 20-21 yet they took their fee out of the 21-22 year without any explanation. They keep asking me to share screen shots of my account which I’ve sent more than once saying the money isn’t there and the just don’t reply to anything. After lots of chasing I spoke to someone who was an accountant there and said he’d resubmit the claim for a cash option and that was over four months back. Nothing, no contact, no replies to email.

For the 21-22 year the money was paid into my hmrc account but as I didn’t owe corp tax they refunded it to green jelly who had paid it to them. It took over a month to receive it, which I was grateful to finally get hold of, but none of the figures quite added up to what was suppose to be paid and they took the fees off plus the fees for the year before that I’ve still not received.

After such a great service they have caused a complete headache and I certainly will be looking elsewhere for next years claim.

I have emailed customer services and complaints and had no reply.

Green jellyfish did a check for me, stating I was entitled to £4k. After 28 days had elapsed I hadn't received anything or heard anything from jellyfish. I contacted them and asked for update, they asked for screenshot of my account with hmrc to which I did, which showed nothing.
I then received a letter from hmrc stating I had overpaid tax from previous year and £995 had been paid into an account I wasn't familiar with.
I rang hmrc and the account belonged to jellyfish. I contacted jellyfish again and was asked for screenshot of account, which I did and again showed no tax return due to green jellyfish.
I was aware that jellyfish work on no win no fee. I've received several emails asking for final payment of £220 for the claim they had processed, which I hadn't received nor does it show on hmrc that I have been successful. All claims that are successful Go straight to jellyfish account and they then take their fee and give you what remains.
I've contacted jellyfish asking why my personal tax rebate had gone to them, also asking if they could return the amount back to me as there original claim was unsuccessful.
I've had no reply of them but still getting emails for £200 from me which makes a total of £1200 of my money.
I will be seeking legal advice and will keep who ever is reading this information upto date
Not a great company to work with I'm afraid

So far, Green Jelly fish have processed 2 claims for us. They seemed very thorough in asking lots of questions - took a fair bit of time to get this done the first time, the second time was much quicker. Received funds pretty quickly. Will use again for this year, our third time. Thanks to Matthew Harwin.

We submitted a R & D claim which was flagged up by HMRC as possibly fraudulent. The matter was passed to an outside accountancy firm who eventually managed to get the paper work to HMRC. After a few months our claim was settled. That was the summer of 2022. Last week we received correspondence that the claim was no longer being accepted and we know owe the tax man over 12K. It would appear that R & D claims are not permitted under the scheme for care agencies. Now I need to recover the 15% paid to Green Jellyfish.

Had an amazing experience with Green Jellyfish. They help me with my claim and took all the hard work out of the whole exercise. The member of staff I dealt with was really helpful and kind, I would 100% recommend Green Jellyfish to anyone looking for help with their R&D claim
