Green Motion operates a car rental service for Faro Airport (FAO), with an off-airport desk on Rua Aquilino Ribeiro in Faro reached by shuttle. This branch serves travellers arriving at and departing from Faro. After collecting luggage and clearing customs, ignore the Rent-a-Car signs and instead walk past Delta Café towards the Arrivals Hall, continuing inside the terminal until you reach Costa Coffee. From there, leave the terminal via exit B and head to the Kiss & Fly car park, next to the Traveller's Rest, where the shuttle to the rental desk picks up. Shuttles run roughly every 15 minutes in summer and every 30 minutes in winter. Desk opening hours (local time): every day 08:00–21:00, including public holidays.

Slick pick up and drop off process, staff were efficient and pleasant, courtesy bus to/from airport was on time, overall a very good experience

Wrong vehicle!
The large cargo minibus vehicle I booked was damaged and had been returned to Lisbon, so I had a normal 9 seat minibus which meant we were very limited to luggage space. I had to remove the rear row of seats to fit all required equipment into the vehicle.

We’re sorry the large cargo minibus you booked was unavailable and the replacement nine-seat vehicle left too little room for your luggage and equipment. Having to remove the rear seats was an inconvenience. We appreciate you raising this despite the overall four-star rating.

Only down side is the instructions to get picked up aren't that clear. Which caused a fair bit of walking around trying to find the van
