Title: Dismissive and Unprofessional Response to Genuine Request
As a long-standing businesswoman, I reached out to Grenke with a sincere, respectful request to discuss early termination of a lease contract for phones I no longer use. Instead of being met with professionalism, I was told that if I "had no money in my business," I "had bigger problems than the Grenke contract."
That response was not only dismissive â it was inappropriate and unprofessional, especially given the vulnerable nature of my communication. I wasnât asking for charity. I was seeking a practical and fair solution, and I expected to be treated with dignity.
I've since escalated this as a formal complaint, and if necessary, I will take this to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
If youâre a small business owner looking for a company that supports and respects its clients, I would strongly urge you to think twice.
Businesses arenât just numbers â theyâre people. And I expected to be treated like one.
