Had my highline boots 7 months and completely split around the calf area and fronts of the foot. I've bought good old Dunlop previously and lasted for years. I just wanted these ones with more warmth.... もっと見る
Honestly my wellies were comfy, waterproof and warm. Roll forward two months and they're cracked, wet and uncomfortable. It really looks like poor quality rubber that's basically built into a good... もっと見る
Grubs Frostline 5.0, not a wellie boot more like an ankle boot with lining, soaking wet ankles, shins and calf muscles, not waterproof whatsoever, pointless wellies, wellies are for wet cold winters.... もっと見る

Only had my grubs frostline 2 months and already leaking badly
Purchased a pair of these boots
Purchased a pair of these boots, lasted much less than a year. Large hole appeared above sole and hardly used them. Customer service didn't want to know because they could not find a record of our purchase. We had lost the reciept but they couldn't find the transaction... Straight in the bin. Waste of money.
Rubbish Chinese-manufactured products.
Rubbish Chinese-manufactured products.
Fail in less than 12-months. Absolutely shocking.
Do not purchase under any circumstances!

My daughter recently got a pair of Grubs ‘MUDDIES’ and I am very impressed. The flexibility, comfort and warmth they offer is excellent unlike other wellies she’s had in the past.
I purchased a pair of Grub chainomatic…
I purchased a pair of Grub chainomatic boots for light logging in the forestry over the winter months.
Over a short period of time and limited use the area above the heels started to crack. I contacted the seller and Grubs but to no avail.
They have refused replacement or refund due to the boots showing signs of wear and tear. The sole is like new therefore not over used or mistreated. They say used for driving causing the cracks to appear above the heel seam.
Not worth the money i’m afraid and the company not forthcoming with any compensation, discount or replacement.
Grubs Frostline 5.0
Grubs Frostline 5.0, not a wellie boot more like an ankle boot with lining, soaking wet ankles, shins and calf muscles, not waterproof whatsoever, pointless wellies, wellies are for wet cold winters. These can't be worn when its wet, absolutely pointless my legs and ankles soaking wet. DO NOT BUY THEM
useless
After only 2 hours one of my Midline boots started to make a loud flopping noise each time I took a step, and I could feel a 'tapping' on my foot; it was obvious that the main part of the sole was not properly attached to the underside of the boot. Luckily the online company I purchased from promptly refunded after I sent them a video of the defect and proof that I had cut out the logo (defaced the boots). Such a shame as my first pair, purchased five years ago, were reliable until just recently when the tops began to crack and split on the toe crease. Perhaps grub changed their manufacturer....
Disappointed – Poor Durability and No Customer Support
I followed all the care instructions meticulously, but unfortunately, the boots only lasted a year before splitting in several places. I reached out to the company to ask if this level of wear was expected, but I never received a response. Very disappointing – I expected better quality and at least some customer service.
Terrible designs
The footwear made by this company is designed badly. It's as if they know nothing about how boots work. Putting a cotton threaded seam at the ball of the foot where the boot bend is just stupid, I don't know how else to describe it. It's almost 2 years since I returned the boots, yet they are still selling the same rubbish! Also, after purchase they will send you constant emails trying to sell you more poorly designed products. Maybe they should employ a professional to design them some products that work!
AVOID - DON'T TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE
My second pair of Shoreline boots and my last!
The first pair lasted 9 weeks before splitting and coming away from the sole, the second pair have fair slightly better reaching 12 weeks!
I was lucky to have had my first pair replaced but I really can't be bothered to go through the process again.
I washed the little treasures, I lovingly oiled them but it merely gave me a few more weeks. Should you really have to keep rinsing, oiling and loving storing what should be a water and mud resistant product?
Complete waste of money, despite being super comfortable and great to look at (except the printing on the front of the boot), I need serviceable footwear when out walking my dog.
Off I go to find something better, wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing.
Leaking wellies
Had 4 pairs of grubs one after the other all leaked so got money back,
very warm and comfy but poor quality, email them through there web site over 2 weeks ago now and no reply
Terribly disappointing boots
Terribly disappointing boots. My wife and I have had six pairs of Grub's midline and shoreline boots between us. They are warm, comfortable and fit well.
BUT they perish quickly under normal conditions - in our case about five to seven months of gardening = develop cracks each side of the toe area, and leak.
The first pairs I put it down to us treating them like wellies, and not lathering them in moisturiser after every outing. So we bought replacements and vowed to do better. Same thing.
This time, we'll be fine, coz I totally followed Grub's recommended treatment regime. My Shorelines started cracking after five months, now replaced with Hunters. Her Midlines are OK so far, because I've adopted Hunter's recommendation which is to treat regularly with olive oil.
I'd never buy another pair of Grub's boots and would warn anyone considering doing so to think again.
Poor quality not lasting 7 months
As I’ve now found out these boots do not last long (7 months) before splitting and when you try to make a warranty claim they just come back with what appears to be the standard reply ,
Unfortunately, Grubs Boots have a 12-month manufacturing warranty against manufacturing defects, this is not a guarantee. Due to the age of the boots, and the nature of the fault, this would not be covered under our manufacturing warranty and would be classed as accidental damage arising from 'wear and tear'.
Between one month and nine months boots can endure a hard life in mud, chemicals, and animal waste. Exposed to heat and other elements that can damage the boots. Maintenance and care are the key to long life. All Grubs boots carry a tag advising the user to care for them, clean them and oil them. We ask that users wash their boots after each use to remove all the inground dirt. They should apply an aftercare product such as REVIVEX and store them away from any radiators or direct sunlight.
I’ve had grub boots in the past and it seem the quality has gone down hill
If you wear them daily as I do for dog walking choose another brand as these don’t last
I brought them from totally wellies and they are of no help,
Midline boots shocking quality
Midline boots had cracks in the uppers, worn out soles...one with a hole, this was after 7 months dog walking. I bought them through Uttings and asked them to make a warranty claim. This what grubs came back with.....

Clean the boots after every use!!! Utter nonsense, the boots are sub standard, don't waste your money.

Had my highline boots 7 months and completely split around the calf area and fronts of the foot. I've bought good old Dunlop previously and lasted for years. I just wanted these ones with more warmth. I've tried gluing them doesn't work 😂 I've had other boots previously can't remember the name that lasted longer. I won't be buying anymore or recommending.
Don't recommend and definitely won't purchase again
Wish I'd seen these reviews before purchasing! I got the frostline boots and these boots aren't cheap and mine have perished on the rubber shoe, leaving a split that lets in water and mud, after around 6 months of wear (approximately 8k a day)
5 Months to useless and wet feet
Unfortunately, my experience of Grubs boots is very similar to a lot of other peoples. They are really comfortable, but just have no durability. Bought some Midlines and within a couple of weeks the inside lining on the heel rubbed through to the rubber. Then after 5 months the uppers split. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought a pair of Shorelines - exactly the same thing happened again after 5 months. This is after only 1.5hr a day dog walks. Just not worth the price - lots of good words on the website, but the product is poor. Shame....still looking for a good pair of walking wellies.
grubs speyline boots. Great for 4 months then leak
I bought a pair of grubs speyline boots. They are very comfortable and really warm in snow and ice. But after 4 months they cracked on the top where the big toe starts and now leak like a sieve. At this price point I would expect a year or two at more. Unfortunately the online retailer I bought them from isn't trading now leaving me unable to make a warranty claim.
Grub grumble
I’m on my second and possibly last pair of Grub boots and both have failed miserably. This pair, which has not hard hard wear, started coming apart last year conveniently just after the 1 year warranty expired. The sole is coming away from the upper, other bonded seams are coming apart, rubber cracking. About 7 faults currently. I sent an email to the Grub sales team who responded quickly but fobbed me off with an off a shelf response and no real interest in the problem or that their product seemingly suffers extensive faults. The boots are comfortable and keep out the cold but are not cheap, short lived and far from well made in my experience.
Waste of money, don't buy
I bought some grubb boots Nov 2023, super comfy and warm. However after 5 months they both perished and split from the sole. I took them back to the supplier who replaced them in May but those ones have now perished in the same places (lasted 7 months). I'll take them back and see if I can get my money back.
Please pay attention to these reviews, although comfy they are not fit for purpose, a total waste of money.
