Just returned from a Gutsy Girls 5 night trip hiking in Macedonia and had a fantastic experience. The trip was very well organised, followed the itinerary, the hotels were good, and the Shar Outdoors guides (Dimitri and Jasmina) were excellent, knowledgeable, encouraging and patient. When my luggage didn’t arrive, the guides went above and beyond lending me clothes etc. and were really helpful. Cath was a great host. The Macedonian scenery is stunning and undiscovered so beautifully peaceful, I’d recommend this trip if you love hiking.

This is my second Gutsy Girls trip and I’m sure I’ll be back for a third.

Just returned from a SUP trip to Sardinia with Gutsy Girls and this most definitely will not be my last trip with them! Lou, our group leader, facilitated a judgment free, fun environment where you could simply be yourself. The guides from NuAdventures were also amazing. The paddling, swimming, snorkeling, and hiking took us to breathtaking places that were elevated by the camaraderie of the most amazing group of women.

This was my second trip with Gutsy girls. They used a company in Macedonia to be our guides for the week .shar outdoors

Hiking in Macedonia with Dimitri and Jasmina was superb . They went the extra mile for us . Their knowledge about their country was exceptional . We hikes up to most beautiful waterfall .climbed a peak, ate out in a sheep farm . This all added to the wonderful experience with such a lovely group of people . Thankyou to our host Kath . .can't wait for the next one .

A special, special 4 days hiking in Norway! This was my first solo trip, even my first time flying alone and it was just amazing, start to finish, will definitely return for another gutsy girls trip. The hikes were just gorgeous, the guides - Ursula and Radana - were SO knowledgeable and just so incredible really, accommodation was very cosy, food was homely and perfect fuel for long days. I found the physicality perfect as a pretty active person, definitely strenuous but a stimulating challenge, especially the scrambling, SO much fun. The group was lovely, a real range of characters and ages, but everyone just up for every challenge and exploring which made a great dynamic and some lovely, interesting conversations. I really enjoyed using the lake every morning for a cold dip, great for recovery from the walks. Martha, our host, was so accommodating, incredibly welcoming and just really cool to be honest.

Maybe one thing I would have enjoyed would be a little more access to the saunas as they were often turned off & took a while to heat up - but they were great when we did use them (Once I believe). Also I think on the itinerary there was one more promised yoga session on our first night that unfortunately didn’t happen. But likewise the yoga sessions we did were great!! Super relaxing and perfect after a day of hiking.

All in all it was a formative trip for me, truly have the itch for solo trips & hiking holidays now. The perfect escape from London life, especially as someone who struggles to switch off. Thank you!!

I had an amazing time in Croatia, our guide Marko was amazing and adjusted timings and tours where needed. The food was a real unexpected highlight… world class, and the wine was delicious. We had a severe heatwave at the time so could have done with air con in the bedroom but our host sourced me another fan. Great trip definitely recommend

In my experience Gutsy Girls continues to be the most fabulous company for solo female travellers wanting adventure experiences with likeminded females, in beautiful settings. Everything was so well organised, high quality and safe, with great communication throughout. Thanks Gutsy Girls and to our host Wendy for a memorable horse riding experience in Norway. It’s hands down the best trip I have been on.

This was the MOST amazing week. I want to do it all again. The organisation was fantastic and the activities were amazing. I had the best time. Great company

Outstanding week paddling and hiking in Slovenia. Excellent local guide, fabulous food and lodgings. Nice balance of activities and rest. Absolutely loved.

I had a fantastic experience with Gutsy Girls in Croatia. I met a brilliant group of women, pushed myself with the activities, spent the days in the most beautiful surroundings, ate delicious foods.. the list goes on. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. Some of the activities are challenging but everyone is very supportive and encouraging and the sense of achievement when you complete something difficult is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. If you like a sense of adventure and want to meet some beautiful like-minded souls then book it! You won’t regret it.

An amazing experience hiking in Slovenia - well organised from start to finish with flexible and wonderful guides in Petra P (local guide) and Charlotte (GG host). Would definitely recommend!

This trip was everything I hoped it would be! Sardinia and the town of Bosa is a beautiful destination and the Gutsy Girls group, host and guide made it a trip that was truly good for the soul! A great balance of activities with some down time too and everywhere we went for meals was excellent and a really nice mix. It's hard to pick a highlight as I honestly loved it all! If you're thinking about booking this trip, just do it!

An absolutely amazing experience, I would recommend for any ladies wanting an adventure without the hassle of having to organise much yourself! I joined the riding for beginners activity in Norway. The valley location and view of the mountains are stunning. The activities- horse riding, hiking and yoga- ran smoothly thanks to our host, Emma and the staff at the retreat. The best part is of course the stables and the chance to learn to ride a horse that the stable manager matches you with. By the last day, we were riding our horses for a two hour stretch along a gorgeous path with expert guidance. The hotel was run really well, staff are excellent. I am Muslim so I follow a halal diet and the hotel facilitated pescatarian and no alcohol food for me without any quibble or awkwardness. Food is plenty and delicious. I have no complaints whatsoever about the trip!

I leave a review every trip and every time its the same - perfect. OUTSTANDING attention to detail on these trips, lovely hosts, supportive but challenging activities presented in an inclusive way by excellent instructors, brilliant food and the loveliest people. I'd highly recommend this company so if you're hesitating - just do it.

A fantastic experience on the hiking and yoga trip in Norway. The routes, level of challenge and guides made it a very memorable and satisfying adventure! The accommodation was lovely - the hotel was cosy and welcoming with fantastic facilities and lovely 360 degree views... the lake dips were a brilliant bonus! Everything was so well planned and our host was approachable, encouraging and made it a really fun experience. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Just back from an amazing week in Sardinia. This was my first group holiday which I booked based on recommendations from friends. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
I was very lucky to have such a lovely group of ladies on my trip who were great fun and supportive of one another throughout the week. Our host, Lily, and guide, Padraig, were also incredible and made the trip really special.
I absolutely loved all the activities - paddle boarding, yoga and the Via Ferrata, which I never thought I’d be able to do but did! 🙌
The food was delicious with different local restaurants each day for lunch and evening meals.
I would highly recommend Gutsy Girls and plan on doing another trip next year. Thanks again xx

Just back from the most amazing week in Venabu, on the beginners’ horse riding trip. It was my 3rd Gutsy Girls trip and once again flawless. The hotel is amazing, and the stable staff and instructors went above and beyond to look after us and the horses. The hike to a traditional summer farm was a bonus, and the swim and sauna was great for achy legs. Shout out to Emma for being the loveliest host!

I just got home from the 4-night Sardinia paddle boarding and yoga trip, and it was AMAZING! Gutsy Girls is a great company to work with -- the UK staff provided all the information needed and really went above and beyond communicating, answering questions, assisting with travel arrangements, and troubleshooting any issues that came up. They were incredibly responsive whenever I reached out to them with questions. Our tour "host" Rosie was absolutely the best -- knowledgeable, friendly, kind, helpful, and a lot of fun! Our local guides - Pod and Simone - were INCREDIBLE. They took such amazing care of us and were very skilled in all of the activities.

Gutsy Girls accurately describes everything that you're going to do on the trips -- if anything, they undersell the experience. Our group all agreed that everything we encountered was better than anticipated. We really got the sense that everyone involved was doing everything possible to make sure we had the best possible experience.

I absolutely loved meeting and spending time with the other women on the trip -- they only allow small groups, so you really get to know each other. Our guides were very careful to tailor activities to our skill levels and make adjustments where needed. I had only been on a paddle board once before, hadn't done much yoga, and had never done anything like the Via Ferrata, but I was able to do and really enjoy all the activities. (I'm 58 and in reasonable shape.)

I recommend this trip without reservation!

I loved the trip to Sardinia for paddleboarding, hiking and yoga. The host was great and our local guides were very helpful in learning to paddleboard. The group spirit was fantastic. It was an active, fun adventure and I look forward to my next trip with Gutsy Girls

From booking communication was excellent, very informative. The trip itself was perfect with our host going above & beyond to give us a great experience whilst being an integral part of our gutsy girls friendship group. The activities organized by Nu Adventure were perfect! Food was plentiful and tasty. I was nervous to book my first trip but now already deciding which trip to do next. Well done Gutsy Girls.
