I've been using the Gymaware FLEX unit for over a year, which has completely transformed how I train. Velocity-based training (VBT) opens up a world of options to fine-tune every aspect of each lift. The more I learn, the more flexible and powerful it becomes. Since incorporating VBT, I’ve seen significant improvements in both strength and power while also experiencing less post-workout soreness.

The FLEX unit is not only reliable and valid but also incredibly easy to use, making it a go-to tool for every session. I'm a huge fan, and if you want to take your training to the next level, you should be, too!

I can’t state enough how vital GymAware has been to our program. Our high school fitness program has grown from 45 to over 600 participants now in the last 4 years. The confidence that the Flex caps bring in knowing that the students are lifting the appropriate weight per exercise based on their ability that day gives confidence from our scholarship athletes and their parents down to the student who is just participating to hopefully make a positive change in their life. I would find any way possible to put these resources in your facility.

Gymaware has been a major influence on performance outcomes within my coaching environment. The influence it has on the athletes application to training is second to none. The data obtained from the device allows for load monitoring and performance targets throughout the season to be specific. I believe the Gymaware is vital for translating strength and power training into technical performance with Olympic track and field athletes.

Great product with tremendous support and education coming consistently. If you’re looking for a cost effective way to integrate VBT, this is a no brainier

Good tool but the device is not solid enough and software is not easy to use.

When making a decision on which VBT tool to go with, there was only one name that kept popping up on every research paper I reviewed, GymAware RS. This thing has been incredible, and has survived a 250kg/500lb barbell being dropped right on top of it.

I use GymAware powertool for years and It's one of the best measuring devices, which I have. I specialize my work in connection with physiological principles and GymAware helps a lot with this... Especially autoregulation in training and force-velocity profiling is strong method how to improve athletes.

We have used GymAware for almost a decade- and aside from iPad upgrades all units have worked great! We get great information from the units- use it to guide our training percentages as we go through the different macro cycles. The GymAware cloud makes it easy to track developments- and the app allows for easy management of several athletes on different units! Definitely worth the money! And customer service has been examplary!

I have been an avid user of GymAware power tool for years and used this to publish some findings throughout my PhD. The cloud is also an incredible and saved me hours when extracting the data for large groups over multiple sessions. Highly recommended

Having utilised GymAware & now flex for over 11 years I cannot recommend a more reliable VBT unit. Both Flex and GymAware units are designed and built to last in especially in chaotic gym floor settings were weights are dropped and thrown around.

In 2015 GymAware changed the way I coached my athletes. No more subjective datas, percentage based strength sessions or time consuming testing sessions. VBT is the best tool a strength coach can use in the gym, and GymAware is the LPT gold standard.

10/10 - quality product, pricing is beyond reasonable ,best staff to deal with in the fitness industry to date.

My clubs athletes love using this product. They love competing with not only their own numbers but with their peers as well. The app is so easy to use. Unlike many other products flex seems to never give me a headache when it comes to staying connected to my device (iPhone iPad) the battery life of the devices is great, i don’t even remember my unit dying once.

I could ramble on and on about this product. To sum it up this product has made me a better coach and has made my clients better athletes and has kept gaining me more business. Enough said!

I have tried a lot of VBT devices but nothing beats GymAware. Excited to try out FLEX in the future! Keep up the amazing work.

Quick, simple, and easy to use. Not perfect, but I really enjoyed using it. For the cost it is great! Prefer the LPT, but the cost benefit to flex makes it a great value.

I’ve had the Flex unit for my home gym for a little over a year now. Following some of the tenets set by Travis Mash, I’ve been seeing solid improvements in muscular endurance and fatigue management. I’m a 40+ year old athlete looking to maximize my days in the gym without needing to take days off for muscular fatigue. Using the Flex unit has allowed me to focus on velocity that keeps me coming back for more. I’m always seeking to be just a little better. Flex gives me that edge.

To properly train the array of strength qualities along the force-velocity curve you have to have objective data. The Flex gives you this in a very simple to use and understandable format, otherwise your programming is more miss than hit when selecting loads for each athlete or client to use. Our gym purchased *2 of the flex VBT equipment about 6 months ago and we are very happy with it. A very easy to use and very reliable. As a coach it's great to get instant feedback to adjust to each athlete's training goals. The athletes love it because they get instant feedback when they're trying to hit their goals. We also own other much more expensive VBT equipment but we have found this the easiest to use as well as the most cost-effective when considering future purchases..

Absolutely fantastic company and product!

I am already using the device for several months and I'm quite happy with it!

The device is easy to use, easy to function (with an elaborated self-to-do guide on their website), reliable, and the company has very good customer service for any problem.

The only drawback that I had along the period is that sometimes there are some bugs in the Android versions (e.g. missing reps, difficulties in Bluetooth engagements, an audio voice that sometimes does not work) but the company are very keen to fix it, and they take seriously all the reports that are coming from the users (and actually fix it).

Very recommended!
