I just had the best experience with halloween costumes' support. I made an error with the delivery time so reached out to their support on chat. A real person responded (or at least very convincing AI) and sorted my problem out in around 3 minutes.

When I contacted customer service, they asked me to send them a photo of the measurements with the costume laid flat on a surface and not on the child’s body.
We sent them the photos and showed them that we took extra centimeters beyond what was stated on the website, yet they still insisted it had to be on a flat surface and not on the child’s body. Costumes are bought according to the child’s body measurements, not a flat surface. We lost a lot of money because of this and were left with a costume we cannot use.

In the past, we ordered several costumes and were very pleased. This time, we were very disappointed—the costume is small and doesn’t match what’s shown on the website. The service was terrible, we won’t buy again, and we won’t recommend it to anyone.

We ordered our costumes and they arrived six days late (we paid the highest quickest shipping price). I was in the queue for 3 hours and the only thing they would do is refund the shipping. Came AFTER our party. The costumes are great quality … just order way ahead of when you need them.

Be careful. They left the bodysuit out of my costume and when I emailed, requesting they post me the rest of my costume, they said sorry but because I was outside of the 'return window' timeslot, they could not help me. I did not want to RETURN my costume, I wanted the rest of it! I also found the same costume, SAME AD, some place else for $50 cheaper and $15 less shipping charge. Will never order from them again. If you do order from them, best open and check the costume IMMEDIATELY, don't put it off for a week or two like I did, naively assuming everything was fine. Also they count the 'window' of time from when you order it, not taking into account shipping time, delays, etc. Do not trust.

The costume was sent with the incorrect Jacket size, despite the label indicating otherwise.

Paying a premium price compared to other shops and sending an incorrect jacket size isn't a reasonable effort, with stapled size labels, it raised my concerns.

I ordered a costume and got it sent to Australia via express, I was very worried it wouldn't get here on time for a party from reading these reviews. However, I ordered on Monday and it arrived on Thursday, I was very surprised it was delivered so quickly and very happy with the quality of the costume, I'm a happy customer and will order again for sure.

Just got my costume it’s quality is very poor and it looks nothing like the picture. It’s meant to have fluff around the hood of the cape but has lace and the bodice is meant to be black and what I got was for was pinstripe grey. Wasted $100 plus $25 to get it here on time.

I was overcharged me (almost double the price) on one item, the shoes only had 5cm in the toe room making them completely unfit for purpose. It took several weeks to arrive and they refused any customer service, no refund and ignored my questions about the overcharging. They also blocked my account so I could not leave a negative review on their website.

Placed an order and after waiting weeks for it to ship requested the order be cancelled. They ignored my emails and continued to ship. After 16 days I had to request a tracking number. I then received the package 32 days after order date. They refused to allow me to return the item after receiving and said they couldn’t help at all because 30 days had lapsed since placing the order, despite it still being in shipment. They even tried telling me I had received a reply to my emails about canceling the order, until I asked for a photo of this and they sent back evidence of a reply to a completely different email regarding only a tracking number.
Ridiculous customer service!

Order took only 2 weeks from ordering to arriving in Australia Communication was Excellent and my 10 yr old Grandson loves it Fits perfectly.

Apart from delivering 3 weeks late (already the delivery was about 3 weeks out so 6 weeks in total), ordered for an event...as you do and had to miss the event due to them...they are NOT based in Australia despite the .com.au name, this was very misleading and I couldnt see anywhere that the costume was coming from the US. They were unapologetic and basically said 'your problem not ours' when contacting customer service. VERY disappointed will never order again.

This company is a complete scam and liars as they claim that it's an Australia website due to the "au" however they are based in the USA. So if you were like me thinking you'd get you packages within a week in Australia think again as I have yet to get my package (a wig) and I ordered it on 1st of September 2020 and here it is 25th of September 2020. I have a paypal case ongoing atm for them however they just give excuse after excuse after excuse mainly claiming i'm the one at fault for being stupid by not realizing that they are not in Australia despite the website itself being an Australian "Au" site. They are nothing but deceitful, lying scammy company! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!

I ordered my costume on the 8th of August. I need the costume for the 4th of August. Almost 1 whole month since ordering and I am still yet to receive my order.

It was supposed to have arrived on the 25th but a week has passed since then and still nothing has arrived.

I checked the tracking number and the Fed ex site says that the number is invalid. I am hoping that my package gets delivered in time but I am not terribly optimistic.

I have already had contact with Halloweencostumes.com and they said that it should be arriving soon but that was 6 days ago and it does not seem to be the case. I hope I haven't wasted my money to not get an end result.

I needed a sweater for Xmas in July party & found this site. Wasn’t sure at first as the site seems pretty dated & all the stock/pics are exactly the same on other sites but it was all a bit cheaper & the shipping not as crazy. Got to me in just under a week (even with stupid covid) & for a $17 sweater that I’ll probably wear once a year, 2.5hrs at a time, I’m very happy.

First Christmas away from my grand daughter so I ordered her a costume from HalloweenCostumes.com.au (Order No 11230479) There was no indication this company was based in US. Tracking indicates that this item has been shipped to the UK TWICE!!!!!!!!! despite the Australian address being clearly marked.
The freecall lines to the above go straight through to the US and always go unanswered. I am beginning to think this company is a scam, can anyone enlighten me? In the meantime we have one sad child and one angry grandma.
