Handybox レビュー

Purchased at a home show. Thought it would stand up to our tough climate in Australia but I’m disappointed. The paint is flaking off. It’s rusting at the sides. Its paint has faded. Overall disappointing.

Saw the owners at Crown for breakfast this morning (they were in their polos with the brand logo). The way he was so rude to the service staff was absolutely disgusting! Going on about how she took his choice away about having a coffee just because she didn’t ask what he wanted as soon as he sat down (it was about 5 minutes after and she was busy helping a full dining room). Acting so entitled and speaking down to the server it was awful to witness. The letter boxes look great however I will not order from there due to his poor, entitled behaviour. Maybe next time they wear something with the company logo it may be wise to treat people with respect, regardless of who they are.

I was more than pleasantly surprised by the HandyBox Crocodile 26 letterbox. Having previously owned a pillar parcel mailbox in my last home, I didn’t expect such a noticeable difference in quality — but this one exceeded my expectations in every way.

First, the packaging was outstanding. Everything arrived extremely well protected and thoughtfully organised, which already set a good impression. It also came with all the necessary hardware, including the four mounting bolts and stickers, so nothing extra was needed.

What really impressed me, though, was the construction. As a certified mechanical engineer, I tend to notice build quality straight away, and this letterbox is exceptionally well made. The metalwork feels solid, the design is practical and robust, and the overall finish is far superior to other parcel mailboxes I’ve owned.

If you’re looking for a high-quality parcel mailbox that’s built to last and genuinely well engineered, I would highly recommend the HandyBox range. This is one of those rare purchases where you can immediately see and feel the difference in craftsmanship.
