I had the carpets in my flat cleaned today, and I'm really pleased. The cleaner worked to clean difficult spots, and was happy to go over stains as much as necessary. He moved furniture around, and was a pleasure to deal with.

I booked with handy cleaners to do an end of tenancy clean for a flat that I was moving in to with my 7 month old daughter with regards to that I spoke to the coordinator to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted done she reassured me that everything would be immaculate to then I was comfortable with receiving their service. The cleaners called on the day to let me know they are 30 minutes away from arriving at the property I greeted them and let them in and took her through exactly what I wanted done a second time she looked and nodded didn't say a word *red flag* while her colleague stood outside I left wishful thinking that just maybe...just maybe... they would do as asked and what was on the confirmation email... 3 hours later I received a text from one of the cleaners saying they will be ready in 20mins.. I sent a message back to say I was on my way and when I arrived I noticed that there was no smell that indicated that any cleaning products were used I.e. bleach, citrusy smell, hoover, any smell associated with cleaning I looked around in each of the rooms and was trying to convince myself that something had been done but unfortunately it was evidential that nothing had been cleaned. The carpet was not steamed or hoovered at all... the skirting boards were full of dust the window ledges were untouched the cupboards still had a texture to them from previous spillages and debris... the fridge still had food stains on the shelves... the oven had not been cleaned either which was agreed in the "handy cleaner" package apparently if you want your oven cleaned you need to hire professional oven cleaners to do so, this is what I was told by a "professional" cleaning company who offer end of tenancy cleaning services. The bathroom was also not clean it still had soap suds on the taps and surfaces. I rang the "handy cleaners" customer service number to explain that I was not happy with the service she told me to take pictures and email them to her I did that straight away and then she called the cleaners for about 40 minutes they were speaking to each other in their own language and she started to wipe down the places that weren't clean and take a picture of it. The lady from customer services then rang me back and asked if I could give them more time to clean I said no as I have plans and this was meant to be sorted 3 hours ago she then proceeded to argue with me and tell me that she did not care what I had to do I asked the woman who had apparently cleaned the flat to take me through step by step what exactly had been done for the 3 hours she was unable to do so I am not sure whether this was due to poor attitude or language barrier I was told by the rep on phone that it doesn't matter if the workers can not speak English when it clearly does have an effect if they are unable to communicate with the clients. overall this was a terrible experience and I do not recommend this company to anybody for any reason.

I was very pleased with Handy Cleaners. They were polite and professional and did a great job on a very dirty and stained carpet.

Marin - the gardener was also great. He throughly cleaned my roof terrace, removing the moss and repotting some plants. he also made recommendations of potential plants.

Terrible communication wont be using again. They confirm a time then they change it to suit them. They confirm a price and then change that too. I cancelled my builders clean with them and kept the carpet cleaning. It was an ok job but these people do not care enough about their customer’s needs and requirements. Attitude was dreadful. There are other cleaning companies who do actually care. Very unprofessional Company, I am very sorry to say. No thanks never again.

This company is very poor. They came last Friday to clean a carpet, I paid for it £105. But the carpet wasn’t clean at all. I tried to contact them try to find the solution ask them to come again and finishing them job. But they said they could come for extra cost. Also if you have any furniture in the rooms they will not move it even 1 cm away , they will clean it around. So useless company. Wouldn’t recommend it at all.

I booked a cleaning for my living room, George came and was super polite and friendly and very quick and efficient. Great value for money and great service! Keep up the good work and recommend to any people looking to use their services. Well done!!

Have booked carpet cleaning services with this company for the last 3 or 4 years and have always been happy with their work. Punctual, professional and good communication

As a shopfitting company working all over the country we found Handy Cleaners to be of the highest standard. We would not hesitate to recommend this professional, hardworking and reliable team. Extremely competitive prices, accommodated our out of hours requirements and great customer service, we will definitely be using this company again.

Given to us on recommendation of the estate agent we were with. They came to us to do and end of tenancy clean (which cost almost half a grand!) and left with the place no better than when we exited the house. Dust everywhere still, appliances and kitchen tops still having grease on them.

We asked them to come back for a second clean and stated that they won't because there's furniture in the property... Does that stop you cleaning a toilet/oven/skirting boards/anything in the actual property?! Useless, steer clear of these con artist scum!

I arranged to have my carpets cleaned by them. They agreed the rate of £78. However, they only stayed on the property for half an hour and my carpets looked no different after they'd finished. I feel totally ripped off by them.

Prompt, organised and complete within 3 days of my request.

Cleaner was friendly and got the job done quickly.
