I hardly ever leave bad reviews but this one has upset me. I booked a end of tenancy clean for my small flat in Tunbridge Wells which I rent out. After the clean there was dog hair left under the sofas, and dirty carpets throughout. It looks like it has been skimmed over with a hoover, not given a proper steam deep clean which was what I paid for. It cost me 300 quid, it's the most expensive clean I ever paid for and it's the worst. I wish I had stuck with the small independent cleaners who weren't available that day I usually use, who are very conscientious. I sent the photos (which I can't seem to attach here) to the Tenancy.Cleaning and asked for a refund or for someone to properly steam clean the carpets. I was told I only had 7 days to make a complaint. Because the flat was empty for 7 days after they came, I didn't know how bad a job they had done until it was too late. They refused a refund. I feel completely ripped off.

And yes it is the right company because the logo is exactly the same.

This is the best company I have ever dealt with , the communication and speed of it is first rate , always some one there to take a call or answer a query , the company itself is not just end of tenancy it offers so many cleaning services at excellent prices to keep you’re home deep cleaned, the staff are amazing the standard is first class , the willingness to change on jobs chose to add or remove is really useful without being penalised , I had mine deep cleaned in dec22 and the results speed of job they turned up on time and left in the time frame they had stipulated ,the results blew me away my cooker oven looks like it just came out the show room unbelievable , had all my appliance cooker washing machine fridge freezer immaculate every room was really a surprise how much detail cleaning they put in, just wish I had done it early, I don’t usually like people I’m. My space but these team are so supoirtive , empathetic and just really nice people , so I would not hesitate to go check out what the offer , which is vast , how reasonable the costs for they standard and you won’t regret it , they even tell you how to prep for a stress free clean

Just had an end-of-lease clean and Kristin did an amazing job. The flat is deep cleaned including kitchen appliances, cupboards etc. She was very punctual and communicative. Would recommend to others.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this cleaning company. I had booked a time-critical end of tenancy cleaning service, only to be left waiting without any communication when the cleaners failed to show up at the scheduled time. After waiting for over an hour and chasing them via multiple calls , online chat and emails, I finally received a reply on the email stating the cleaner had been unwell and admitted to hospital so they have to cancel.

While I fully understand that emergencies and illnesses can happen which I reiterated on the email , what is completely unacceptable is the lack of timely communication. Their customer service, which claims to be available 24/7, was entirely unresponsive, both the automated system with a repeated robotic reply and phone line that just keeps ringing without being answered. The only communication came via email after significant chasing on my part, well after the missed appointment.

What added to my frustration was the dismissive tone of their response, which implied I was being inconsiderate for pointing out the poor service and not understanding their cleaner being unwell, rather than acknowledging the issue of late notification and failed communication. My concern was not about someone falling ill but rather the absence of any proactive checks or updates on their part, especially for an afternoon appointment that could have been reviewed earlier in the day. It supposed to be a team of 2 cleaners and when asked why they didn’t arrange for a cover of the cleaner who fell ill, they said all cleaners are booked and they were only informed of the cleaner’s husband of the hospitalisation, again all these information were laid out after pressing for more details as I was upset for waiting an hour for nothing.

In summary, this experience highlighted serious gaps in reliability, customer support, and accountability. I would not recommend this service if you are relying on punctuality and professionalism.

I booked a deep clean for £175, expecting a thorough and professional service as advertised. However, only one cleaner was sent for a job estimated to take five hours—something that was never made clear in advance. Had I known this, I would have simply extended the hours of my regular cleaner at a fraction of the cost, with far better results and none of the stress.

From the moment the cleaner arrived, the experience was unpleasant. Despite my clear instructions at booking that the flat was furnished and this was a deep clean (not an end-of-tenancy clean), she appeared visibly frustrated. She responded angrily when I asked her to clean inside the fridge and drawers—tasks that are clearly listed on the company’s own website as part of the service.

The clean itself was far below acceptable standards:
• Most drawers were untouched, and only the oven and fridge were cleaned (the latter only after I cleared it out and asked).
• Stairs were mopped hastily without being swept or scrubbed.
• Bedrooms were lightly cleaned, with no effort made to move or clean under furniture—even bedside books weren’t moved to vacuum underneath.
• Kitchen bins were not cleaned, and rubbish was left behind.
• Staircase handrails and balustrades were not cleaned.

Even worse, since the clean, the temperature control in my fridge has stopped working, which means I now have to arrange and pay for repairs—adding further cost and inconvenience to what was already a very disappointing experience.

To top it all off, I raised a detailed complaint with the company (including photos), and I have received no response whatsoever. The lack of accountability or customer service is incredibly frustrating.

I would not recommend this service and strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you are expecting a proper deep clean and any kind of follow-up support.

I only used this company when I had to urgently move out the house, I lived in. My landlady was quite strict about the cleanliness of the property, and I had to make sure she is happy at the end of the lease. Booked with Tenancy Cleaning London for first time but it won’t be the last booking with them. Excellent in every aspect. Thank you for providing customers with bespoke cleaning services.

Avoid !! Terrible job. One woman came to clean a whole flat including white goods and carpets.. needless to say , a well below standard job was done - my tenants have had their deposit deducted!.. do not recommend - terrible!- and rude when tried to get re- dress.

Tenancy Cleaning London were recommended to me by a friend, and I’m so glad they were! From initial contact, the team were great - super helpful and very kind. On the day of my move in clean, Elin arrived perfectly on time, and got straight to work. He stayed in touch throughout and notified me 30 mins before the end of the clean so I could get back to the property. Elin's work was excellent, even down to a very stubbornly dirty oven! I cannot recommend Tenancy Cleaning enough; from start to finish they provided a fantastic service and very competitively priced. Will definitely be booking again in the future!

Cleaning was decent, but there were mould stains in the bathroom and some dust left in the lamps over the dining area.

I had to pay an extra 35gbp to my landlord as she cleaned it herself.

The answer I got from the cleaning company was to send them an email and they will ‘talk to the cleaner’, not quite the service you’d expect for 170gbp

Lili was exactly on time and respectful even though we were still in the midst of moving out. Overall job well done. Would recommend

Elin our cleaner did a great job and communicated perfectly with us throughout the process. He took the time necessary to deep clean the flat and make it look impeccable. We would recommend him and Tenancy Cleaning anytime.

Highly recommended. The team was punctual and called me prior the arrived and when they finishing their work. Walked through with us before the start of the work to ensure no confusion on scope coverage and also after finishing. We seeing the team walked extra mile on the front door as well which really appreciated.
