Harvey Normans manukau. Made a purchased here through indian sales team and a few weeks later began receiving spam email and phone calls.

I had a fantastic experience with Harvey Furnishings for my new curtains! The interior designer was lovely - she came out and drew up a sketch for each room of how the curtains could look. I had decided on ILIV fabrics for each room (free make), with tie backs, as I have a villa (c.1910). The installer was excellent, as was the person checking measurements. Installation was juggled around completion of painting/wallpapering. I could not have had a more positive experience!

Feels dishonest.

Pushy sales staff on the day of purchase, no returns on ‘sale’ items, however whilst unboxing, realised it is clearly a ‘second’ as in, it had already been returned due to the tape holding it together. Blind does not roll up and down effectively.

Sometimes these things happen, products can be faulty- but the faulty product, terrible quality, coupled with the push to sell it, seemingly knowing it was crap and no return made it feel like an unethical company.

I would not purchase anything from this store knowing these standards.

Highly recommend Harvey Furnishings to anyone looking for top-notch service and quality home furnishings!

The Consultant helped me to select the perfect fabric choice for my new home.

The Customer Care team’s communication was timely and clear and my job was ready for install ahead of my expectations.

The sheers are immaculately manufactured and have transformed my rooms (what was once quite a masculine look with blinds only is now a softer look and feel with depth and understated elegance).

The Installer was meticulous in making sure the sheers were fitted exactly to specifications.

I couldn’t be happier!

I had a really disappointing experience with Harvey Furnishings. We ended up with the wrong blinds because of their mistake, and instead of fixing it they only offered a small discount on new products. When I tried to follow up, they never even replied to my email.
I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone looking for good service or accountability.

Very disappointed with the curtain installation more disappointed with the so called Sales and customer Experience personal - very much clueless.
This really is the VERY basic 101 customer Service, a missed opportunity to put something right.
I’m also going to forward this response to the International sales and Market forum, I feel that this response highlights the inadequacies and inexperience of individuals in this field. A perfect case study of what not to do and how responses like this can only facilitate and burn the company’s repetition.
Wade or Paul would be very disappointed in a staff member so ignorant of the basics in customer service. McDonalds or Orana Park wouldn't employ this person.
General complaint was very poor installation causing damage.

• The Curtains been ordered 10th of June 2021 supposed to be ready in about 3 months
• A couple of days before the lock down last year (August) I have been informed that the style I selected (S wave) has been discontinued, and I have to select a different one. I have been informed that next week the curtains are going into production.
• I started chasing on the 18th of Nov the sales rep chased the head office and asked to call them as well. No one ever picked up the phone, I left a lot of messages on different extensions, no call back.
• Finally, I received an Email from Head of Sales and Customer Care, but no further communication from her at all after that initial email, I left a lot of messages.
• Finally, just before Christmas 2021, received date for installation in Jan 2022.
• The installer came on the 13th of Jan, the curtains had the new style but with the measurements from the original style which sits differently. The installer installed one bedroom, to make it fit he had to install the track on the window frame, what looks wrong (needs to be above the window). Same in the other room, curtains wrong size and not split in two to make it go around the corner window. The installer took the curtains from the room he had installed them. He mentioned that he leaves the installed straight curtains and when they have the other room altered he will install them and take the other for correction.
• After one week I called the Head office, but again no one picked up the phone or called back, and I left a lot of messages. So, I called the sales rep for help and it took another week before Customer Care contacted me to say the curtains are ready in one week.
• On the 15th of March the curtains should be installed, however the installer called that morning that the curtain rails are missing…
• 22nd of March and still no response from the head office as usual. Still waiting for a date for the curtains to be installed in one room and taken down in the other room to be corrected.

This is a complete nightmare and one of the most incapable companies I have ever come across.
