Hawksley is a long established business with a tradition of producing well-engineered, dependable products at very competitive prices. Established in Oxford Street London in 1869 by Charles Hawksley, the Company began by innovating with Counting Chambers. In the 1930's, Hawksley was bought by William Baum, a US businessman, and started to manufacture blood pressure monitoring devices. In the 1950s Hawksley & Sons began an innovation programme to construct and manufacture a new range of centrifuges. Out of this came the Hawksley Haematospin 1300 & 1400, setting the standard for Micro Haematocrit centrifuges. We are proudly supplying to the NHS, Veterinarians and Universities worldwide. Hawksley have continued to manufacture quality products and have built a product range which compliments our manufacturing expertise in three specific areas: andrology, aesthetic medicine and centrifugation.

Excellent customer service.
It's the second time I bought from this company. I remembered the first time, which was a pleasant experience. The item I purchased back then was also a haematocrit reader (but then the variety for 7 cm capillaries) of high quality; I still use it daily. This time, I experienced the same excellent customer service (very helpful, polite, kind and meticulously). Speedy despatch of my order which was delivered surprisingly quickly. Perfect quality item as described. I highly recommend this company.

Quick/speedy service and delivery. The freight cost was a bit high for the package size and should have been reviewed.

Apologies that our delivery price is a little bit expensive - because we like to ensure speed and good tracking, our export delivery costs are higher cheap royal mail deliveries.

Shipment didn’t arrive until today 10 -4 -2023 , tracking record displays it is on hold for 4 days now!!! I sent shipment company 2 mails with no answer , I sent tracking record to your hawksley shipment manager Watsapp but no response ... respect your client if you please and show that you care .

Dear Abdelhamid,
We are extremely sorry to hear about your bad experience. However, please consider that you contacted us on Easter Friday and Monday; days that are bank holidays in the UK and therefore our couriers didn't deliver on them.
As soon as we were back to work on Tuesday, our manager was ready to help resolve the issue and your package was delivered on the same day.
He has also shown you evidence - via the parcel tracking software- that the courier on your end changed the address label without informing Hawksley. In total, the delivery took 7 days, from the point of ordering to delivery to address.
We find a 1-star review very harsh given these circumstances, so we kindly ask you to remove it as it affects our ratings on this website quite significantly.

FOLLOWING MY INITIAL REVIEW, I GOT REACHED OUT TO BY HARVEY WHO TOOK OWNERSHIP OF THE SITUATION, REMAINED VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES BOTH ON THE PHONE AND VIA EMAIL COMMUNICATION AND ENSURED THE RIGHT ORDER GOT DELIVERED TO ME WITH A PERSONAL NOTE.
I BELIEVE IT WAS A SUPPLIER RELATED ISSUE THAT LED TO THE INITIAL MIX UP. IN SMALL TEXT BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL FEEDBACK TEXT. I'VE ONLY LEFT IT TO DEMONSTRATE THAT WE DO NOT LIVE IN A PERFECT WORLD BUT WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE AND SKILLSET, PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED, CUSTOMER CAN BE SATISTFIED, RETAINED, LOYALTY EARNED AND SITUATION TURNED AROUND FOR GOOD.
