I highly recommend the Design Capability Standard workshop by HCD Pro for any design professional looking to transition into leadership or upgrade their career level. The content is dense and actionable, and it goes far beyond theory. It was instrumental in helping me shift my focus from technical design craft to executive-level strategic communication and storytelling. The combination of career path frameworks and personalized mentorship has been invaluable in defining my professional vision. I attended HCD Pro's first workshop recently and really enjoyed it. Jonathan and Chris bring a lot of energy and passion for design, and they've created a welcoming environment with thoughtful discussions and a great mix of people.

The amount of thinking that has gone into the design capability framework is impressive. Rather than relying on generic career exercises, they've built a structured model around capabilities, progression and professional growth. In a region where designers come from many different backgrounds, disciplines and markets, having a shared language around capability and what progression looks like is genuinely valuable.

The workshop gave me a clear picture of where I am today and some practical next steps to work on. The follow-up 1:1 mentoring session helped turn those reflections into something actionable.

A strong start for HCD Pro, and a positive contribution to the growing design community in the UAE.

Jonathan and Chris’ curated workshop and thorough blueprint were both personal and regionally relevant - the guiding principles and focus areas have pushed me to think beyond the normal parameters of how I approach my career. As someone who is relatively new to the UAE job market, I found great value in the career strategy workshop. The content was practical, insightful, and helped me identify the key gaps I need to address to advance my career. I’m sure I will keep referring back to it.
