Stay away - bad energy
Ridiculous, I get walked through a zoom meeting, I even had to ask for a receipt. I can't log in, and I had no link to see my site! No one returns my emails. So I leave a negative trustpilot review.

....and then someone who says they are the owner of the company blows up my phone and was HIGHLY abusive. For someone who supposedly is running a site for therapists and healing practitioners the reaction couldn't have been more opposite. I don't like it when people make threats. Considering an attorney now.

I'm Leslie, and I am a new member of the Heal.Me community. Over the past few months, I've had the pleasure of working closely with Megan as I developed my website on their platform.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for Megan's exceptional support throughout the onboarding process. Her ability to truly understand the challenges new practitioners face -- especially with imposter syndrome -- has been invaluable. Megan guided me with patience, clarity, and genuine encouragement. She consistently helped me move forward, answered every question thoughtfully, and demonstrated how intuitive the platform truly is.

Her attention to detail, combined with her warm and empowering approach, made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Thanks to Megan, launching my site felt not only achievable but exciting.

I am deeply grateful for her expertise and the care she brings to her work, and I would be remiss if I didn't share this experience with everyone.

This is a good platform for healing professionals. It's not cheap, but I've found it to be well worth it. I've gotten a few new clients who said they found me through healme.

I canceled my account over a year ago, and they still charged my bank. Panic set in! No one answered the phone when I called customer service. Fortunately, they identified the problem and promptly refunded the charge. In addition, Matt called me and sincerely apologized for the mistake. We all need customer service like this, personal and professional.

I have tried several other directories without much luck but heal me has been great and I recommend it to others. I'm excited for where this is going and love being part of it!

I have been a holistic health professional for several years and had a very basic site, which I've been planning to update for a long time but never had the time or energy... The team has done a great job and it feels like a weight off my shoulders having this site for clients to book with me. They told me easy booking = more bookings, and it's true! I've noticed the difference. They asked me to leave a review and I said I'd be happy to!

I’ve been with Heal.me for about 8 or 9 months now and overall it’s been a positive experience since the beginning. I enjoyed my photoshoot and the photos I got from them. And I’m very happy with my website, it’s definitely much better than the website I had before, which I had made on Square Space. I’ve been using for the platform for all of my bookings, no complaints. I’ve gotten several new clients who found me through Heal.me, 4 of which have become regulars. So I’m very happy with my investment, and the people I’ve interacted with have been very helpful and responsive. Not a complaint, but a suggestion: I really wish there was a way to send email blasts or texts to all my clients (not just the reminders that currently are sent).

I recommend heal.me, it’s a good platform, easy to use

I'm a healthcare provider and had been paying for Vagaro's practice mgmt features + Squarespace (host). Costs were adding up, so the price I was quoted by heal.me sounded like substantial savings. I asked quite a few questions about whether heal.me would be adequate for my needs across medical, functional medicine, and aesthetic service lines and was reassured, that yes, heal.me can handle all of that. I was shown a chiropractic website, which certainly suggested platform functionality with respect to medical services, and I was promised "white-glove" website setup + professional SEO for a setup fee of $650 + a monthly fee of $79 + Square/Stripe fees for payment processing. I was super excited about the new-and-improved website, better search rankings, & price.

Holy heck. I was not prepared for the amount of work I had to do and have been disappointed in the dearth of features. First off, I had to download and copy each visit note and other pieces of documentation individually and save them, only to find...THERE IS NO PLACE TO UPLOAD ANYTHING on heal.me. There is ONE general intake form, and no other forms or files can be attached to the client chart. No pre-/post-treatment photos, no lab reports, NOTHING can be uploaded/attached. I was stuck storing a bunch of spreadsheets on my own device for each file I had to export from Vagaro . There is a free-text space for client notes on heal.me, but it isn't a template - just a blank space for free text.

There is no way to communicate securely with clients via heal.me, and this is a very basic need. I inquired via e-mail about secure communication (no client portal), and I was told to just use my own email account to communicate with clients. I can send encrypted emails, but the messages and data are not secure when the client returns the forms to me so this is not a solution. Furthermore, regardless of which of my service lines my client wishes to pursue, s/he receives the ENTIRE combined intake form because only one form is allowed. Several clients have expressed being baffled by answering questions completely unrelated to their service line and treatment plan.

As for the "white-glove" setup: It wasn't. I spent approximately the equivalent of a work week rewriting content. The team I was assigned was highly responsive, but they only created a very basic website and then apparently had an AI bot fill in the copy. My bio had absolutely NOTHING to do with my own background or approach to care, and they discarded my tagline and made up a new one that was generic and lacked appeal.

This week, since I'm finally finished completely re-doing my entire heal.me website, I had some time to look at the SEO. My Google ranking has fallen off since I made the switch to heal.me and I've had no lead conversions from my heal.me website in that time. Not one. Now I know why. The heal.me sales rep low-key insulted my original website, pointing out various elements that he said the heal.me pros could refine for improved lead conversion. My amateur attempt at SEO was considerably more thorough and provided higher search ranking. There was very little effort put into the SEO at heal.me. One basic term per category. No creativity or attempt to capture similar terms. Additionally, I had a blog on my website and heal.me doesn't allow for this so I had to manually relocate my entire blog to a publishing platform, which was another huge pain.

The longer this goes on, the more irritated I am at the nearly $1K I will have spent on a couple months of web hosting plus all of the wasted time and energy. I wish I'd never made this move and worse, I just spent another 80 hours outside my regular work schedule, including a couple of all-nighters, moving everything back to Vagaro so I can enjoy full function under one umbrella.

If you need only the simplest web hosting and booking, heal.me may be an affordable fit. I recommended them this week to an aesthetics pro for whom this platform will be an adequate host and booking site, and I've offered to re-do everything for her as I did for myself. If you need to chart on patients/clients, to communicate securely, or to be able to offer multiple intake/consent forms or upload labs, photos, or anything else, you really should look elsewhere.

Update: The founder, Max, has reached out to me repeatedly this week and I finally had time to respond via e-mail tonight. I've edited a couple of sentences in my review for clarity and to ensure accuracy. To his credit, Max offered to refund a portion of the cost. I really do wish I could give a higher rating. It isn't my intention to be unkind or disrespectful, but I never would have switched to heal.me if I had been aware that the platform is primarily useful for booking + a basic website that I'd have to revise almost entirely.

Heal me is doing amazing work to support us healers and I have so much gratitude and appreciate for everything they do. I love being part of their mission ❤️

A few years ago I spent over $2500 on a new website, which actually doesn’t even work anymore and I had to discontinue, so I wish I found this much sooner! I love my new website and I’ve had a good experience so far with having everything in one place. This is a good option for anyone who’s had issues with trying to do their website on their own or trying to hire someone, it saves a lot of headaches with all that.

HealMe has made my life much easier and I was happy to turn off my Wix and Acuity contracts. I highly recommend this platform for anyone, especially any healer who is just starting out. One request: please add email marketing and allow me to customize my reminders. Thank you!

So far, I’ve been pleasantly surprised my membership and the support I’ve gotten. I love my new website and it’s made it easier for my clients to book with me. It’s very convenient for me and my clients, and I was able to get rid of my old wix site which caused me a lot of problems and headaches. I’m thankful for the team at healme.

I am really enjoying Heal.me! It has taken me a bit of time to get everything set up as they are always adding new features and improving the platform, (I do love this and don't mind learning new things if it means improving my online presence). The newest website builder feature that is included makes it so easy to connect with my clients and manage everything in one place. I was able to cancel my WIX membership that I was paying WAY too much for as I was having to pay for the website, the booking service, the chat service, the file storage service for my intake forms and photos etc. It was coming out to so much more and has not only saved me that money, but made me more money because my clients can easily just click book and rebook so easily. What really stands out to me is their mission to bring holistic healthcare to the forefront, putting it ahead of traditional medicine—and I’m totally on board with that! It’s amazing to see a platform that truly supports practitioners and clients in such a meaningful way. I’m so happy to be part of this awesome community!

Heal.me is a great platform for therapist, coach’s and mentors to impacts one’s journey. Keep on being resourceful to the general public!
I have also noticed individuals using fake names to post reviews on select practitioners on this site. These false reviews of hate and narcissism need to be taken down otherwise they can deter people who actually need help. Those who refer themselves to pages like these. I’ve seen a lot of pattern of hate from ex friends and those with nothing to do or no social standing and simply too much time to know what to do with. Issues ranging from settling with their spouse or maybe just lonely to those simply hating their life and current situation. Please remove these false one star reviews and implore these professionals to peruse means of cyber security lawyers to press charges. If you can’t cheer someone’s success then why have crab mentality? Grow up and glow up sagal ka bache.

Heal.me is revolutionizing and decolonizing the wellness industry. It’s so important to note in this modern day and age- traditional medicine isn’t always helpful. The plethora of service providers listed and unique niches of each practitioner is incredible. I’ve had an excellent experience with Heal Me and would highly recommend their services for providers and clients. What stands out is their commitment to integrity and authenticity. Heal Me ensures a safe environment by actively protecting against false claims, allowing clients to focus on their personal growth journey without worries. If you’re seeking genuine support in improving your comprehensive wellness with folks who actually know what they’re doing- check them out & you won’t be disappointed

August 2024:
I signed up as an herbal medicine clinician in March, my profile went live sometime in May I believe. Unfortunately my contact informed me that there is no way to be listed as a practitioner of herbal medicine even though I was clear about it being my main modality prior to signing up, I have national certification, an advanced masters degree and a local license that encompasses the modality.

I haven't received any additional follow up around the issues with my profile.

The search function (to find practitioners) on the site is buggy and the algorithms don't seem to yield appropriate search results.

EDIT September 2024:
Matt the owner called me to discuss the platform, and said that many updates have been made to increase search functionality and get rid of bugs. He also said that they are now HIPPA compliant, and are rolling out many new features. In addition he mentioned that the team members I was previously dealing with are no longer with the company. He got my profile set up correctly for me and gave me some pointers!

I will probably keep my profile up through the time I paid for initially, and will see how the platform evolves, at this time I'm unsure if the heal.me platform is a good fit for me specifically.

Great company to work with - I would give them 10 stars if possible. They create a beautiful product, and it speaks to the heart! I love my new website, and could not be happier, as the people are so kind and cooperative and want to do the best for their clients. I highly recommend using this platform if you are in the alternative healing arts!
