Very disappointing experience with Hellamaid
Very disappointed with my experience.
I booked a 3.5-hour cleaning service for $215 expecting a thorough job. Instead, only about 2.5 bathrooms along with the foyer, kitchen, and laundry room (roughly under 500 sq ft) were cleaned, and even those areas were not cleaned properly.
Several basic tasks were missed. The kitchen backsplash and cupboards were not cleaned, the laundry room sink was left dirty, and the main floor living and family room floors were not vacuumed or mopped. The kitchen centre island, TV stand, and tables were also not wiped. In one of the bathrooms there was still visible grime and mold left in the floor tile grout after the cleaning.
The company advertises a 100% satisfaction guarantee and advertise to ensure that they re-clean. When I raised these issues, they declined to return for a re-clean and instead offered a $60 refund on a $215 service, which I do not feel fairly reflects the quality of the work.
I chose this company because of their advertised guarantee and strong reviews, so this was disappointing. I hope the company improves how situations like this are handled.

Be Aware
The issue has already been resolved by Hellamaid in the form of a full refund, but I feel it's important for other potential customers to be aware.
We paid a stupid amount to have our house cleaned before a move. The results were pitiful at best. The company offered a partial refund or a re-"clean". We asked for a partial refund.
And then we asked again a week later.
And then again a week later.
And then we posted a negative review and the company suddenly replied to our emails offering a *full* refund if we removed that review.
So we are finally back where we started after (what felt like) months of back and forth with this company as they 1. didn't provide the service they promised and then 2. continually tried to avoid taking responsibility for that.
Anyway, as I said I just feel like it's important for others to be informed because people have a lot more important things to do than deal with this kind of BS.

Not very professional
I originally got them to clean our house. It was 2 cleaners for 4 hours. they left after 2 hours. terrible job. I got a partial refund.
I then booked them for a cleaning on October 8 for November 22 to start between 11-12 o'clock.
I was told they would send their best cleaners and I was offered a discount.
Two days I was informed without my consent the time was changed to 2-3 o'clock.
Not very professional. I cancelled the cleaning and never heard from them even thou I send a email complain .

The one lone cleaner stayed for 6 hours.
The cleaning was not satisfactory.
I payed extra for a extra duty cleaning.
The floor needed vacuuming after they left.
The kitchen countertopnhad stains as did the fridge door.
The cupboards doors were left dirty and stained.
The baseboards and doors were also left dirty.
The whole job was unprofessional and way overpriced forcwhat was done.
I do not recommend this service as it does not come close to delivering their promised service.
