In September, I saw an advert for the burger slippers on social media and fell for the hype. It will be the last time I order something based on a targeted advert.

Originally, my review was somewhat hot-headed and focused on the inaccurate sizing chart and how, as a result, it was not possible for me to order the slippers in the correct size. The company's returns policy did not allow me to ask for a return or exchange, as all returns are at the purchaser's cost.

I did reach out to the company, and I received a response saying that multiple customers had had the same experience as me and that they were committed to making it right by sending me a replacement if I updated or withdrew my TrustPilot review.

However, after cooling off and reflecting, I’ve read more TrustPilot reviews and looked for the product elsewhere. The same products this company sells can be found at a fraction of the price on Temu and AliExpress. This leads me to suspect this company is a drop shipper marking up mass-produced and cheaply made products to an exorbitant level. While I cannot prove this to be the case, I personally do not feel comfortable engaging with the company further.

I will gift the slippers to someone who can wear them and chalk up this bad experience as a personal lesson in overconsumption. I do appreciate that the company reached out to me in an attempt to make it right; however, as I said, this whole process does not sit right with me.

For transparency, my original review is below.

“Do not trust this company.

After double and triple-checking their sizing guides, I ordered a pair of slippers in a US women's 9 - an EU 39 - my usual size. The slippers took a long time to arrive, and when they did, they were too small and were marked size 38.

When I contacted the company to point this out, they responded with this:

"We recently updated the sizing for our Burgerstock. Please rest assured that the slides you received are from our previous version, and they are in the size you originally selected. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused."

If so, HelloSlippers, WHY did you not update the sizing for the Burgerstock online at the point of ordering? This made it literally impossible for me to order the correct size for my feet.

Adding insult to injury, I have a pair of useless slippers that I cannot return because of their horribly dishonest returns policy - where customers can only return to China at their own expense, more than the cost of the slippers.

I have requested a refund and have pointed out to the company that my claim for a refund falls under the following clause of their refund policy, as the item received was a 38, not a 39 as described on their website:

1.7 In very rare instances where your item arrives badly damaged or significantly not as described, our customer support team will request further information before being able to initiate a refund. This includes photos, pictures, screenshots, product descriptions and other material that we can use to verify that the item has arrived damaged or is significantly not as described.

I have also pointed out that their size guide, as of today 15/10/2024 STILL has the US Women's Size 9 as an EU 39, which is WHAT I ORDERED.

I am awaiting a response.”

Everything about my experience with Helloslippers has been great!! The product I ordered was perfect and sooo comfortable. I wear it every day at work and walk in it all day and it's so well cushioned. People compliment the design and attachments I put on my slippers too. One of the owners reached out to me via email after my purchase and so have the staff. They have been very nice, professional, and followed up with my experience. Overall this company is a 10/10! I'd ordered from them again!

I didn’t realize that this is not the slippers I’m looking for at the beginning because it looks almost the same as the one from another brand.

But I realized it too late. The return policy sucks, although I didn’t open it. I have to ship it back to China myself. But the shipping address was from US.

You either have good luck that you are satisfied with the products, or you will waste money trying to return them.

The slippers are cute, however the sizing i”was off and the return policy to China is insanely expensive. i gave 2 stars here because I posted a 3 star review on their site and it was deleted. Not worth the trouble.

The Mr Skully slippers are so cool ! They are comfy and are well made. The accessories are really well made too. Even though they shipped from china , the tracking worked perfectly and they arrived quickly (10 days). Highly recommend!

First, I've tried posting this exact review, with pics, on their website and they keep removing it. You'll notice there is only 5 star reveiws.

Two stars because the burgerstock shoes are actually cute and well made. I would however not buy from them again nor recommend had I known they ship from China with no domestic contact or warehouse. If you search around the website you can't tell but you also can't find a physical address, the only way to contact is a generic email or a submit form and the return policy, shipping on the buyer, you have to email them. I don't mind them being made in China, however I hate dealing with a company that ships direct from china. It took 12 days of no communication except inital confirmation email, before we got the your item has shipped notice. It then took another 11-12 days to receive the package. We did get a tracking number but it only updated every few days. 

Be very sure of the size of shoe you order. You are more than likely stuck with the shoe you order regardless of if you want to return them because the return is expensive (estimated $20 at the cheapest, $30-60 high end to return to Wenzhou China) . We bought the shoe size based on their sizing guide and it was super big.  I dont know if the sizing is off or if just this pair is off. Not only were they too long but the width that goes over the top, of your foot, the upper, we could fit our whole hand under. Since the sizing is unisexed id say the shoes is more sized for the way a males foot is. They are also very heavy shoes so a big and heavy slide shoe means you continuously fall out of them. I would estimate that we would need probably 2 sizes smaller, but again, im not sure i can confidently say everyone should size down.

In the end, we poked more holes in the band to hopefully tighten the top enough and we also added purchased insoles. All in all, this ended up being expensive purchase and I wouldn't do it again knowing what i know now (shoe $65+shipping $9.00+insoles $15.00) for a cute shoe that only somewhat fits correctly. Some of the shark style is available on amazon and I woild recommend buying them there. The other styles like this hamburger are not.

Absolutely love my burger stocks! When I received my first order I was so excited and started wearing them around the house right away, but by the third day the bottoms started to peel off. When I showed helloslippers the issue they immediately sent out replacement! Without hesitation! I was so appreciative of it! Because these shoes make me smile every time I wear them! 10/10 will buy from Hello Slippers again!

my shark slides are really great. They’re more comfortable than I anticipated, and the glow in the dark accessories glow really well. My only slight issue is the price point, I wish they were a bit more affordable.

Delivery took a couple weeks, but everything else was amazing. They sent emails to keep me informed on shipping status. Tracking showed every stop from China all the way to Texas. Shoes are great quality and so cute.

I just got my HelloSlippers Burgerstock slippers, and they’re seriously the cutest! If you love fun, quirky stuff, these burger-themed slippers are a must-have. They look like birkens but with a playful twist, and they’re super comfy for everyday wear.

The quality is amazing—sturdy straps and well-made overall. Plus, everyone who sees them loves them! I get compliments all the time.

If you want something comfy and unique, these are perfect. Totally recommend grabbing a pair!

This website is a Chinese drop shipper masquerading as a legitimate business. I should have done my due diligence and did a little bit of research before making my purchase. They are essentially selling extremely cheap slippers and sandals at exorbitant markups - you can easily verify this yourself by taking a look at any of their slippers and searching for them on Temu or AliExpress - you will find the exact same items at 1/6 the price. I was first suspicious when it took over two weeks to ship my order, then when it finally did ship the courier was a Chinese company with a scan location originating in China.

Their return page is also very vague, the vast majority of it details how buyers are eligible for a refund if there is a defect or if their order doesn’t arrive. The only section alluding to returns if you are dissatisfied with their product is a small blurb at the bottom, saying that buyers are responsible for shipping fees back to their company without any mention they are located in China - the shipping costs alone are almost as much as the shoes!! They probably know this will deter most people from making any type of return. No legitimate business operates in this fashion - if you like any of their styles do yourself a favor and just order them from Temu or AliExpress.

I ordered a pair of Burgerstocks in US women's size 7 but the pair I received were marked as EU 39 which is typically a US size 8/8.5 so they were too large. When I asked to return them, they said the customer is responsible for shipping (which I am usually okay with). However the address they asked me to ship to was in China. It would cost about the same amount as the shoes to return. I feel that it is dishonest for them not to state this in their refund/return policy from the beginning. There is also no indication on their website they are an international company. I suspect that they may be drop shippers since I found the same shoes on temu for much cheaper (although I can't speak to the quality since I didn't buy them)

I will say that the shoes were cute. I just wish they fit me and the company was more upfront about their return policy.

super soft and comfortable i've ever bought

0 stars. The products they sent were nothing like the the pictures they show in the web page. Bought 2 pairs. Innacurate size and poor quality. They are poorly painted. You will find better slippers for 3 dollars Ali. I bought here since the pictures they show look great. And for the price, I thought those were the ones they send. I wrote them the same day I received the products to return them. I sent them the pictures. They told me the products condition doesn't meet the criteria for refunds. Waste of money. Don't buy!!

I have ordered several slippers and slides from the company, and each pair was great! I'm a teacher, and my students were really jealous of my slides. Lol. I'm impressed with the quality. All accessories were included, everything was packed well, and shipping was about a week or slightly more, which isn't bad. I highly recommend!

The slippers are really cute. I order 2 slippers I only receive one in color black I had ordered blue and green, the model I received is correct but the color is not and the second pair has not been sent

I numeri non combaciano, non hanno assistenza clienti (dovrete parlare solo tramite mail) e non hanno il reso gratuito, se per sbaglio non dovesse andarvi bene qualcosa o vi arrivano distrutte dovrete pagare 60€ per rispedirle in Cina.
Peccato perché il prodotto non era male

P.S; Mi avevano proposto un codice sconto per evitare di spendere 60€ per fare il reso ma non ho mai visto il codice.

Order shark shoes month ago.There came with the missing lights and attachments.After writing them back and forth by e-mail there so post to send me replacements. Still don’t have them don’t waste your money.
