We design dresses and separates for work, special occasions and everyday wear, alongside coordinating outfits for families. Our clothing is made in Nigeria using 100% cotton Ankara, with women’s styles available in sizes S–4XL. We pay attention to the details that matter when getting dressed, from fit and comfort to practical pockets and cotton linings in many of our designs. Based in the UK, we serve customers internationally, dispatching orders from our UK and US fulfilment centres. Our team is here to help with choosing a size, finding a style or resolving a question about an order. Once a year I have a gala for my job and as Deputy Director it's incredibly important that I dress to impress. My go to for the last three years has been Heritage Clothings. The quality of their clothing is second to none. As a plus sized woman it's nice to have a place the I can go to and consistently find something in my size and never question what I'm going to receive when the package arrives. Speaking of package, I appreciate being able to track the packages. All in all, I am beyond pleased with my purchases from Heritage Clothings and will continue being a customer.

Shaby business practices.The company wants me to pay a third…
The company wants me to pay a third time for my purchase. The purchase was not delivered to me. It was returned to Heritage due to arriving for delivery on a US Federal holiday. I have duplicated dresses that have waited for a month for return paperwork. The service is despicable. I have offered alternatives but Heritage support is not forth coming.

We would like to clarify the three separate matters being combined in this review. Heritage Clothings has never asked you to pay three times for the same purchase.
1. One order was dispatched, but the delivery was missed. The carrier is returning the parcel to us, and we are awaiting its arrival.
2. A separate order was cancelled at your request and fully refunded. You subsequently informed us that the cancellation request had been made in error and that you still wanted the dresses. As the original payment had already been refunded, we explained that a new payment would be required to purchase those items again. This is not a duplicate or third charge.
3. Another order was duplicated when it was placed. As duplicate purchases had occurred previously, we had already emailed you a complete list of your Heritage Clothings purchases as a courtesy, to help prevent further duplication. We also provided our US returns address in Mississippi by email for the duplicate items. As the order was placed in error, return postage remains the customer’s responsibility under our returns policy, and a prepaid return label is not provided.
We have responded to your correspondence and remain available by email. However, the suggestion that Heritage Clothings has repeatedly charged or asked you to pay three times for the same purchase is incorrect.

Wrong Color Sent
I love the dress. I got lots of compliments. The four stars is because the site listed about five different colors for the dress but when you click on the different color to order, it keeps defaulting back to the green and orange. I selected a different color but no matter what color you push it defaulted to the green and orange so I went ahead and made the purchase hoping that it was just an issue with the site and that I would get the color that I really wanted, the red and yellow. I liked the green and orange too, so I just decided that I would go with whatever color they sent me, but I was disappointed that it was not the red and yellow that I wanted.

Deliverance is guite fast
Deliverance is guite fast, the sizes at least in 3/4 dresses has been fitting to me. Fabric is great...little bit wonder if all dresses needs underlining?? At least on top. It makes the dress very warm. ... I like side pockets.

Beautiful but not true to size
Let me first start off by saying that the dresses and short set I purchased are absolutely beautiful and so well made. The fabric quality is also really nice. I have to give 3 stars because of the sizing. I followed the size chart and looked at the American sizing to make sure I got the right size. I'm a size 16 at almost 6 feet tall. I chose the XL which is a UK 20 and a US 16-18 thinking there would be a little wiggle room but all 3 items were too small. I thought maybe I'd gained weight and didn't realize it but my aunt, who's between a size 8 and 10, put on reach outfit and they fit her perfectly. I don't know if my order was mislabeled or what but the dresses were definitely not a true US size 16-18. I can't return them because they came when I was on vacation and I didn't get back until after the 14 day return window for returns.

As you mentioned that another customer wearing the same size found the outfit fitted perfectly, we would like to check whether there may have been a sizing or labelling issue with your order. Although the usual return period has passed, please contact us at heritageclothingstore@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the size labels so we can investigate this properly and discuss how we can help. We would not want you to be left with dresses you cannot wear.
