Would just like to say a special thankyou to Joshua and Chloe for sorting out my remortgage they were so helpful and efficient and kept me informed at all times and were able to find me the best deal for my remortgage now I can start planning my new kitchen will definitely be using Heron Financial again

Don and Leona were so helpful. They were knowledgable, responsive, very calm and made the process really simple. They sorted out moving my old mortgage onto a new product whilst the conveyancing process was in going (as it was about to expire) and helped me get a good deal for the new mortgage. I’d definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a mortgage broker.

Having dealt with Callum and Leona throughout the process of getting my mortgage with Heron, they have been nothing but very helpful, communication was always regular, they kept things simple to deal with, I definitely make the right choice with bringing them onboard to get me to where I needed to be. The Heron Financial Team are lovely. Both Kane and Zara in particular are so helpful, and they are always happy to answer any questions we have as first-time buyers. They sort everything out so quickly for us to avoid any delays, and always provide us with really helpful information. Both are lovely to speak to; they have a wealth of knowledge about the UK housing market and are incredibly efficient.

Heron Financial helped us secure our first mortgage, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Callum supported us at every stage of the process—clearly explaining our options, offering practical advice, and always being available to answer our questions. As first-time buyers, we felt quite out of our depth at times, but his responsiveness and ability to explain things in a straightforward way made the whole process feel seamless and easy.

Ailsa also supported us with our insurance and was equally helpful. She took the time to explain everything in detail, worked within our budget without ever pushing us towards something beyond our means, and really understood our situation. I have used Heron 3 times now for mortgages and I am happy with them as a company on the whole. I held off giving 5 stars as I missed out on a good fixed price rate by 1 day by not being informed on the need for company accounts.

Gary Holmes at Heron Financial was excellent. My situation was complicated because I had moved abroad, and although we didn’t find a mortgage solution that worked, Gary was extremely helpful, informative, and honest throughout. What impressed me most was that he still took the time to give clear, practical guidance even when it was obvious there would be no commission in it for Heron. That level of professionalism and integrity is rare, and I’d happily recommend them.

I don't usually leave a review, but felt Aidan, Zara & Vinal deserved a special mention from my recent dealings with them at Heron Financial.

The entire team have been very professional throughout, taking the time to know our financial goals and finding the right products for both myself & my partner. Aidan was very thorough in explaining all the different products and fees, often accommodating for multiple meetings during evening hours to find us the best mortgage deal. Vinal was equally excellent in giving us both straightforward advice on income & life insurance so we didn't pay more than we needed. 

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heron Financial to my friends and family and will definitely use them again in future! They also don't charge customers fees for their services, which was an amazing added bonus that not all mortgage brokers offer.
