Highlanders Administratively Poor

Highlanders are administratively poor. Took them 3 weeks to send log book into DVLA, they then forgot to clear the finance on the vehicle we part-exchanged causing an issue with the finance company. Had to call them multiple times on what should be as easy as ABC for any car dealer.

Thank you for taking out time to give us your feedback. Your part exchange vehicle had an active police interest at the time of the deal which you were aware. For this reason, we had to wait to get the clearance from the HPI and the police before we could process any documentation. As soon as we received the clearance from the police, we processed all documentation.

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience with this dealership
Had problems with the car within first 100 yards of driving it. Then had to wait for the to try and solve the issue which was not successful
As it stands now we have had to have the car inspected ourselves at our costs because they were not true to their word.
UPDATE
So we have been asked by the company to provide more details so they can respond accordingly.
My response to that is, want to respond to this but are unable to respond to my emails and to return my calls. If you are serious about resolving this extremely serious matter then I suggest you do the right thing and do what has been asked of you clearly detailed in the email we have sent you. Continue to ignore the issue will result in legal action, again clearly detailed in the email.
This factual review of this company is purely to give potential customers an oversight of what we have experienced with you.
Advice to potential customers.
What ever you agree with this company ensure you have everything agreed in writing along with a signature as in my experience they are not true to there word.

You came to our premises and took your time to inspect the vehicle before driving away and you didnt raise any concerns with the tyres. AVOID!!!!

AVOID!!! JUST READ THE REPLY,,,, VALUED CUSTOMER WHAT A JOKE!!!! YOU REPLY HERE BUT NOT TO ME!!!!! You have pissed me around for 6 weeks, offered me used ebay parts, told me old cars make noises, sold me a defective car with 1mm on brakes and 4 ROTTEN disks, frankly your actions and responses have erroded any faith in you, things happen stuff goes wrong but the way you have messed me around, Prestige dealership???? Dont make me laugh as you have failed at every turn,,,,, Oh our technical team! Never called! Oh our Legal team? Never called! Our management team! Again never called! Y I have the right to repair or replacement at YOUR expense, thats the law! You should frankly be embarrassed at the sheer level of this 20k car 5k repair bill BE WARNED PEOPLE!!!!!

Spent 20k on a car drove 400 miles and found it had a serious fault, was offered £300 compensation for a 5k repair, no call from management in 6 weeks, zero follow up, now not returning calls or emails, been to trading standards, AWFUL service.

Thank you for taking out time to provide us with a feedback. Our record shows that we provided you with quite a few options in trying to address your concern(s):
- To bring the vehicle to us and have the issue rectified at no cost to you.
- We will order a used working part and post to your house address and you can have the part fitted at your local garage at yourown cost.
- We offered you £300 on a goodwill basis for you to rectify the fault yourself.
We have done everything possible to rectify the issue, however you have made it almost impossible for us to assist by requesting that you want the vehicle to be taken to a main dealer which we cannot accept for obvious reasons. We feel that we have provided you with every available opportunity to assist you and you have declined all of them. If you would like to discuss with us and consider any of the options we previously offered you, then we are more than happy to assist you further.

I purchased a car on credit Finance



I purchased a car on credit Finance from a car dealership highlandsgb car Registration YD14 JHA, exactly four days later I contacted them by telephone as well their company email to cancel. I had not collected .

The Dealer advised me to inform Finance Link where I had applied for credit loan for the Car. I contacted the loan company and advised them I was cancelling the loan agreement as I was no longer going ahead with the purchase of the car.

inform them that I had changed my mind and will no longer be moving forward with the purchase of the car. The car was never in my possession. The car was meant to be ready for collection on the 8th of October but I cancelled on the 7th of October 2024.

I contacted My finance Link both by telephone and email to inform them that as I was no longer moving forward with purchasing Car YD14 JHA, I no longer needed the loan I borrowed against the car, and wish to cancel and overturn the agreement as I no longer.

I also contacted Close Brothers Finance to whom I signed the Loan Agreement with and also informed them of my situation and my wish to cancel the loan agreement as it is no longer required. The car was never taken from HighlandersGB,

I am concerned of the unnecessary delay in cancelling this transaction and purchase. My Finace Link credit loan are saying that they have already transferred the money for the loan to HighlandersGB before the Credit Loan agreement can be cancelled. However HighlandersGB is not answering their calls. I am feeling frustrated by this as a customer. I never had the car in my possession and it should not be difficult to cancel this transaction and credit loan agreement.
