We were extremely pleased with the company. Their price was competitive, they kept their appointments on time and did a really professional job fitting the windows and clearing up. We would certainly recommend them.

Having had a number of windows and doors fitted by Hilbre over 4 years ago we had a problem with an opening light.
I called Hilbre back and was told I would get a call.
A day later I got a call from Mark to arrange that some one would be out in 2 days.
They arrived exactly when they said they would.Identified the problem and fixed there and then at no cost.
That is what I called brilliant after sales service.

Had several windows replaced by Hilbre Windows in 2017 and was very pleased with the service and workmanship. Unfortunately, one of the sealed units developed a fault in June 2024. I contacted Hilbre and reported the fault, an appointment was arranged for a representative to review the problem, this was done promptly with a replacement unit supplied and fitted at no charge one week later. Hilbre confirmed that this was in line with their 10 year guarantee on sealed DG units.

After doing alot of research and getting many quotes Hilbre Windows stood out from all the competition due to their experience and quality.
They use Rahau profiles with Yale locks which is not normally standard on other frames.
If you want stunning Windows which are of the highest quality and craftsmanship you must choose Hilbre Windows.
The sealed units are he most energy efficient and the glass is so clear to look through.
Jason and John the fitters where amazing, they took there time and fitted the windows during the week to perfection. They took particular attention to detail and were both friendly and hard working.
My advice is never ever go with the cheapest quotes on windows as there is no cutting corners you pay for what you get and you will definitely be so delighted if you pick Hilbre Windows. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family every time.

I ordered a new UPVC door from Hilbre Windows and asked them to fit a dog flap into the bottom section of the door to allow my dog access into the back garden.

The workmen arrived on time, completed the job to a high standard, and were polite and professional.

I think they deserve the 5 stars as there is nothing to criticise or complain about at all. I would definitely recommend the company to others and I will be using them again in the future.

We've just had 4 windows fitted by Hilbre Windows and the experience from start to finish has been wonderful. We really couldn't be happier.
The customer service is absolutely second to none, the quality of the product is fantastic and the fitters are amazing. I truly can't think of anything they could've done better.
We'll definitely be using them again for the rest of the house.

This company installed 5 Victorian double glazed windows recently. The windows were Rehau Heritage (Ecoslide) rated A+. I would recommend them strongly and would definitely use them again for other work. Whilst researching a competitive quote I had a salesman around from a leading national company who quoted a ridiculous price then tried a hard sell including a supposed phone call to reduce the quote via his manager. This was from a room with no signal (embarrassing). Another local company I tried had three people in the office and barely managed to raise their heads when I walked in. The attitude was appalling. This contrasts sharply with the service provided by Brian and his team. The price is not dirt cheap - but this is (hopefully) a once in a lifetime investment and the windows have a 10 year guarantee. As this company is popular, the lead time from order to fitting can be around 3 months. This in itself indicates that they are the company to go to. When the two fitters arrived they showed a great work ethic and worked long hours with barely a break for lunch (I had to check that they weren't from Poland!). The work was very professional and completed within two days. They tidied up nicely afterwards and worked well as a team. I did have a problem with one of the window locks not operating properly and Brian (the MD) came out quickly and replaced it himself. The windows transformed the house and keep the noise out, the heat in and can be easily cleaned due to a hinge mechanism. I was going to restore the old 2ry glazing but the windows are so good this was not needs. Insurance is included in the cost. As well as the Hilbre guarantee there is also fallback insurance from HomePro. I would recommend doing your homework when buying double glazing. I did and am very pleased with the company and the results.

Product was of sterling quality with amazing customer service.
The jewel in the crown was the quality of the fitters work.

Have nothing but praise for this company. Just had 2 bays and an additional 2 windows fitted. They were very reasonably priced and the service from start to finish has been outstanding.

We would highly recommend Hilbre Windows.
We have had previous work carried out by them (French doors) which we were delighted with so we had no hesitation in asking them again to quote for a new entrance door.
From start to the completion of the work, their customer care, attention to detail, knowledge and patience was second the none. We decided on a Rock door and although we did dither a bit over our choice of frame colour and glass pattern, Mark was more than happy to give other options, explaining fully the process until we were happy with our choice. The quotation was comparable to other companies.
Fitting was approximately 4 weeks after placing our order, and the two guys who came to fit were exceptional. Quick, professional, very friendly and left no mess at all. There were areas on the doorway and frame that I thought would suffer from the removal of the original 1930’s door, but they ensured it was removed carefully, (which was a bonus as I’d actually sold it), they then fitted the new door to perfection.
We are absolutely delighted with the finished result and would definitely use Hilbre Windows again. The added bonus is they are a local company.

I received a quotation that was 55% higher than the company where I placed my business. Please test the market carefully as the quotation was ridiculous.

I can confirm the quotation was £1,495 for a new patio door and minor repairs to 2 windows. My business was placed with a company who quoted £955 for the same work. Other reputable companies provided similar quotes.

Price is part of service delivery and customer satisfaction. To object to reviews that do not rate the company highly is outrageous and certainly not transparent. A quotation is part of the customer experience.

Hilbre Windows have replaced the windows in my parents house and now my house. They have always been spot on with the price but their service is what makes them stand out. Its like from the moment you walk in you're treated as family and nothing is too much trouble. Obviously the windows and fitting is top quality, but its more than that. Its the whole package that leaves you feeling great. Cant recommended them highly enough. Thanks!

I love this company. Their customer service is first class. We had our windows and doors fitted by this company and I rang them to sort out a few niggles as some windows were catching and the French doors were not shutting properly. They came out without any quibble or delay, explained my warranty was still valid and fixed everything that I asked them to do as I had forgotten to mention an additional problem. The staff are exceptionally courteous and friendly. A pleasure to deal with. Well done!
