Haven't really gotten any quality


Haven't really gotten any quality interview requests. Some of the roles that I have received also seem to be for junior level engineers. Seems like the same few set of companies.

Hi Avinash! Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that your experience has not been as expected. So, Hired is a curated marketplace which caters to the needs of its companies. As a result, roles of a certain level may be in high demand while others are not. Generally speak, we do tend to see more mid-level that senior-level on Hired. This is not to say the latter doesn't exist on the platform, but they are fewer and farther between. I'd also encourage you to connect with your Hired CX representative to see if there is anything you can do to perhaps tailor your profile to better target such roles.

Hired is an amazing team of people and system. The day my profile became active, I received two interview requests from very high profile employers. Their tool not just enable me upload my resume but also provide the text communication facility with the recruiter, ability to visually specify my available times for interview on a calendar, the recruiter then choose and specify the interview time right there in my calendar.

Thank you for making the job search and interview process such a breath!

Better up front information

I think Hired is good but there needs to be better initial conversation/communication before jumping straight into the interview process. For instance, I need to know that as a Remote employee I am eligible for the salary they are advertising even if I do not live in the city they are in. It is a waste of every one’s time otherwise. I would like to have an up front information interview to make sure the job is something I want to pursue before jumping into the interview process.

Hey Jim! Thank you for your review. Regarding salary - companies should not drop below the pay they list on the interview request. Companies generally base the salary on the request off of the minimum salary you list on your Hired profile. Therefore, if you have not listed the city the company is based in as an onsite option for you but have indicated you are open to remote work, you can assume the role is or can be remote and that this is factored into the salary listed. If you accept the request and the company tells you otherwise, however, contact your CX rep or write to us at support@hired.com and we can advise on next steps.

I like the concept alot but want more quality of life in the code exams

I like the concept of letting companies come to me. Additionally, I liked that the staff reached out to me privately when my profile wasn't getting enough attention so I got some tips from them.
Also, I think the code assessments are fair but it could be more transparent on what they're judging. Before going to their convention, I wasn't aware that employers would look at them, let alone an entire replay. On the same subject, there isn't any code completion so if you don't remember which is correct in Java, you're kind of doomed: HashSet.put( ) , HashSet.set( ) , HashSet.insert( ) , HashSet.add( ).
Overall, I think it's a really nice platform and I can feel that they put alot of effort into it.

Love it

Love it! The upfront transparent salary display is awesome, allowing candidates and recruiters to schedule interviews based on availability on their calendars is a simple, powerful and elegant innovation to a very real problem, kudos!
