Historynet must not have any customer service anymore. E-mails sent in November and December of '23 have been acknowledged but no follow up. Voicemail left on Thursday 01-04-'24 and we see what happens. Spring to early summer '23 seems to be last time most have seen any issues. Magazine content is great, getting to the subscribers is near impossible. Buyer beware!

I renewed my subscription of WILD WEST for two years at a cost of $75. I haven't received anything since this past Spring. When I call their number, I get a recording that there are 10 callers ahead of me and to request a callback...but they never call back. If you call and continue to hold, the same recorded message saying there are 10 callers ahead of you goes on forever. If this company is in financial trouble, this is still no way to treat a long-time subscriber. Apparently some incompetent ran the company into the ground.

Truly terrible Customer Service. The World's worst, hands down!!! On the 15th June 2023, I purchased a 1-year print and online subscription to both MHQ and Military History magazine. I received the MHQ magazine in mid July and received no further magazines. I noticed that on the 23rd August the Autumn edition of the Military History magazine went on sale. I sent my first email on the 18th September to enquire politely was my copy of the Autumn Military History magazine shipped. I received an automated email with a request number saying that it was being reviewed by our support staff. I didn't get any response so I emailed again on the 22nd September. Again I received no response. I emailed again on the 26th of September. I received no reply to my 3 emails. I then checked my subscription online and noticed that it said it expired on 25/12/2023. I had purchased a 1-year subscription on the 15th June 2023, so it shouldn't have been expiring until June 2024. Annoyed at this and the lack of a response, I emailed again on 29th of September, querying where was my copy of the said magazine and asking why my subscription appeared to expire on 25/12/2023. I also told them if I didn't get a response by the 4th October I would initiate a chargeback. Not surprisingly, I didn't receive a reply, so I initiated a chargeback and got my money thanks to Revolut whose Customer Service is amazing. They could learn from Revolut what good Customer Service looks like. Historynet are grossly inept!!!! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!
