It sounds like an old cliche, but if I could genuinely give H.L. Brown more than 5 stars, I certainly would! What a pleasant shopping experience from start to finish. I have recently had a very bad experience with another large online watch retailer so I was very cautious when I contacted H.L. Brown. The truth is, I had nothing to worry about. Not only did they have the exact watch I was looking for, it was also offered at a very competitive price. The watch was quickly sent to me to accommodate when I was in and was also beautifully and securely packaged. The watch itself is just gorgeous, brand new as described and running perfectly, I couldn't be happier. In the days of online retailers often chasing the quick buck with false promises and inferior goods, H.L. Brown are the exception. They really do make the process of buying a luxury watch the wonderful experience it should be! Thank you.

This experience deserves sharing, despite being ancient. Circa 1983 when buying my wife's Rolex Datejust and my Submariner, we both recall the utterly exemplary service we received from Mr Smith of WH Brown, Doncaster. Funereally garbed in black suit, black tie and white shirt he was courtesy personified (before, during and after we decided to make a purchase). We bought the Datejust and went back to order the Sub' some months later, following Mr Smiths question to me: "--and what about Sir? We could offer a splendid discount of 20% on a bi-metal Submariner." I ordered on the spot and the wait was six weeks. Collection lasted an hour whilst Mr Smith explained every intricacy of the watch. He even checked I'd fed the parking meter sufficiently well for a prolonged visit. Memorably excellent experience from over forty years ago. I might add. that Mr Smith and I had a long conversation about watches, where he related a story to me about a Doncaster customer who had spent some 9,000 pounds on a Patek Philippe some months previously. Mr Smith was asked in bluff Yorkshire, "Na'then if I get knocked down in't' road walking out of 'ere' will anybody know what I'm wearin' on mi wrist? To which Mr Smith replied, "Unlikely Sir, but if you were to be knocked down in Geneva, everyone would know exactly what you had on your wrist."

Outstanding service once again. A really nice store and lovely, helpful staff. I am very pleased with my purchase. Thank You.

We took a family solitaire diamond ring into the store and asked for advice which was given, we chose to have the ring resized, the staff were all professional and friendly. We have just collected the ring today and was absolutely over the moon with it, was beautifully done and cleaned to a high standard. Delighted with the first class service given. We will undoubtedly be back soon with another project. Thank you so much, we are so happy we entrusted the ring with you.
