Yes it took 4 months to send my review as I’ve been very busy but I’m making sure that my review is viewed by whoever so that they don’t have to go through what I and many other people have gone through dealing with HNC Empire Estates.

The Communication from you guys was very shocking.

I’m far from hurt and I don’t need healing I just had to spread awareness to other people so that they don’t waste their time using you guys to find a place to rent .

I was very calm with you guys and Abidien the agent that I was in contact with but the unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking.

I remember I called the office once because I couldn’t get thorough to Abidien so I was talking to another colleague about my situation and he was like “ we’ve had people who earn more than you miss their rent payment” what has other peoples missed rent payments got to do with me? I’m a completely different person and i handle my money differently so why is it that I’m already being judged and compared to other people just because someone earns more than me.

Yes I failed referencing due to me recently starting a new job and not having enough payslips/ invoices hence why I got a guarantor to help finalise any deals so there is no issues. I also forwarded evidence of me renting before so I can let you guys and the landlord know that I’ve rented before and know how to act accordingly whilst renting and I was paying more monies at my old flat more than I would of been paying at the house share if I got it.

I thought you was a genuine person when I first came for the viewing but clearly not.

You wasted my time saying you potentially had another place in Mitcham for me so I kept requesting a viewing but I was getting no responses

I would call and always be told that you are in a meeting and you will get back to me but you never do.

If you did your job properly i wouldn’t be here writing bad reviews would I ?

I have had an awful experience with this agency, would not recommend to anyone. They ignore all maintenance issues of the property and list occupied rooms on booking.com. Following the listing of the room I occupy on booking.com a drunk man was given access to the keys of the property and broke in , this person then attempted to stay in my room upon which I had to call upon the police. Clearly this agency feels they have a right to breech tenancy contracts putting the safety of their tenants at risk. Furthermore following this incident the agency in question arranged for their property caretaker to call and threaten me using foul and abusive language. They are exploitative and unprofessional!

HNC has been an excellent property manager. I have lived in several of the properties they manage in the past few years and have always found them helpful and supportive, even through difficult circumstances not of their making.
I thoroughly recommend them.

In have been with HNC from a year now and one thing that stands out about them is their ability to deliver adequate timeous solution to home issues especially in repairs such as block pipes repainting.

My time with HNC Empire Estates was brief but one that left a lasting memory due to their impeccable service while I was with them. A particular staff,Modupe, was always there to pick the call and fix whatever problem I had with the accommodation, which was not frequent. Anyone that’s looking to get accommodation should look no further than HNC Empire Estates because they will get you just what you need with no hassles. 😊

Since I have moved into one of the properties managed by this company, the promises included in the contract have been broken. Failure to keep up maintenance, broken windows and therefore poor heating and unusable Wi-Fi. The issues were reported as I moved in almost 6 months ago and nothing has been done. Avoid this landlord at all costs.

This is a terrible company. I live in one of the rental properties that they own via spare rooms. The rental room app. The house is infested with rats. The windows are broken and they had put a cheap second glaze, similar to masking tape to try and secure the window. And I have been complaining about the draft and cold wind since September 2024 and it is now January. I have received no compensation and the landlord has directly told me he would not live in such conditions but refuses to repair the house so that it is in a liveable condition.

Big shout out to HNC! Their rent guarantee is a lifesaver, and they handle maintenance quickly. Plus, their inspection reports are a fantastic bonus so I can see what work is going on in the property, giving me peace of mind.

I am happy with the quality of service and the decoration made to my property. You can always get someone on the phone to keep you informed at every stage. Good customer service provided in respect and flexible approach. They also offer a good rate, so you get good value for your property in terms of rental rates.
