Holland and Barrett is going down the toilet. From "I can't hear you" being used frequently on the phone line (when there's no issues when talking to anyone else) to the Live Chat being AI, minus the Intelligence, or the human equivalent of that. For several months now some products have been supposedly prohibited in Ireland, when trying to buy online BUT are freely available in store. I've tried Live Chat and a Call about this but they were both occasions where the Intelligence bit had disappeared and the person (or bot) just quoted the same rubbish as opposed to tried to resolve it.
It means that customer in Ireland miss most of the best discounts on those products.

3 - product could not be delivered as “my building wasn’t accepting orders” - my HOUSE apparently gets a say now
Each time was told ‘this will be reported back so does not happen again”
Each time getting a refund was like getting blood from a stone
Each time AI customer service was useless
2 stars because when eventually I managed to speak to a human 2 out of the 3 of them were great.

Back in April I returned rancid flaxseed oil capsules to the Oldham branch. I was told Iby the manager (heavyset caucasian lady with coloured hair) I would be refunded, which to this day I still have not received. I have been consistently going back and forth with online chat he keeps "reassuring" that I will receive my refund. I have been shopping with H&B for years but will have to close my account due to this frustrating experience.

CBD carries an over 18 restrictions. My was delivered to the wrong address and in a broken box. CBD is being used for pain, cancer, child siezers in a hospital in London. There should be no need to discuss this online
The post office blame lack of understanding of the law and how this product should be shipped.
A very rude customer service and there are restrictions on other aged related products. This includes packaging and delivery.
Hallo ik wil ervaring met iedereen delen en waarschuwen dat dosering op het rustgevende druppels valeriaan van A.Vogel niet kloppen. (50 ml. Druppels) Ik weet er zeker dat eerder was het niet zo.
Hoe kan dat er staat op de doos zwart op wit dagdosering van 60-90 druppels.
En dan 3x- daags
20-30 druppels .En dan -
EVENTUEEL VOOR Naar bed gaan NOG EENS 60 DRUPPELS ????!!!!!
Door overdosering mijn dochter in psyhotish toestand gekomen, daarom ben ik zo kwaad op het zaak.H@B En het bedrijf van A.Vogel . Echt waar het is nieuwe tekst op de doosjes verpakking , het is echt veel te hoog dosering, ik weet al halve eeuw dat vroeger was dat 3x- 20/30 drup.per dag dosering !

What a nightmare, The order tracking was nothing but a pack of lies, 3 attempts at delivery all failed with a fantasy tale of me not being in whereas I was. When I call customer service for a refund all I got was the runaround. After explaining what was going on all I got was they would look into it and get back to me, which I dont believe. I allways thought H & B were a reputable company but never again. Uncaring, issue dodging wast of time. Now to see if they do refund me when I finally refuse delivery if it ever turns up.
Update, after an unscheduled out of the blue "delivery" where the goods were thrown over my gate breaking the bottle and spreading oil and broken glass over my path I sent some photos to H & B whereupon I was issued with a refund. A lot of faffing about for nothing

Ive bought RJS liquorice for a few years tjhe last 2 months they have changed and are now horrible wont be buying again

Twee keer een bestelling geplaatst voor gembersap wat in de aanbieding is. 2x over mijn bestelling zonder bericht geannuleerd door Holland en Barrett. Slechte ervaring lijkt wel of ze het bewust in de aanbieding doen en dan zeggen het is niet op voorraad.

Me and my mother had a distressing experience at the paddingtion square store on wednesday 29th April around 11:00 am. My mother and I were followed by a male staff member from the moment we entered. He was the only worker there. While white customers were left to shop in peace, we were singled out and questioned immediately.
The situation escalated when the same employee left paying customers at the till just to follow us to another section. He stood inches away from us, pretending to fix a tidy display as a cover for monitoring us. When my mother later asked him why he did this, he lied and claimed he was helping with "self-checkout," but he immediately went back to serve the people at the till as soon as we left.
This was clear racial and religious profiling as me and my mother were visibly muslim and ethnic. We felt targeted and unwelcome. I would advise ethnic and Muslim shoppers to be cautious here

For many years, I have loved shopping with H&B. I recommended H&B to family and friends but in the last month, I've had issues with online purchasing.
The last couple of months I have purchased stuff online and arranged for store collection. While purchasing online, shipping costs were €2.99 for click and collect and €4.99 to have product shipped to home address. I chose click and collect as store was a few mins away
I found lately, that when I purchased online, my purchase request was dealt with, within a couple of hours to a day. Quite impressive. I queried it and found that my orders were being processed in store as the product was in stock. But H&B were not refunding me the click and collect fee. Nothing was being mentioned back to me.
I sent in a customer query about it and was told that I should be receiving a refund of €2.99 since my order was processed in store. €2.99 was only applied to when product is not in store and has to be shipped to the store. I, also, queried this with store staff and they said that the click and collect fee only applies for when the product is shipped to the store when product is not in stock in the store
Customer support refunded my the fee. I purchased product again this month and again, my request was processed in store. H&B didn't refund my click and collect fee. I queried it again and a H&B robot replied, stating that since my product purchase was processed in store, I must go back to the store and claim it. I wasn't happy with this. Why isn't this click and collect fee not removed when in store processing is being carried out, thereby saving the customer having to ask for the refund of the fee.
I returned the product purchase and received a refund for my purchase. I submitted a complaint about it and requested my account be closed and my email address be removed from their mailing lists. I received an email stating that the click and collect fee is only refunded when I purchased product over €25. Clearly the support rep doesn't know the rules of click and collect fee, when store staff and a robot both state that the click and collect fee is refunded when the request is processed in store.
What is most annoying is that H&B don't let the customers know about the click and collect refund entitlement for when their online purchase is processed in store. Therefore, H&B are making a profit of the click and collect fee for requests that are processed in store. I can only surmise how much they are making on this.
I was informed that I am the only one who has complained about it.
H&B, just lost a customer. Don't like being ripped off for online purchases being processed in store.
