I've been with HTFTD (George) for the past few months and I am absolutely amazed by the difference it has made in my understanding of British Sign Language.
What really sets George apart is his ability to explain such signs in a clear and engaging way. He really takes his time to ensure that I understand BSL by showing me visual examples.
I would highly recommend HTFTD to anyone looking to learn British Sign Language.

I had the privilege of working with George as my specialist support professional from 2021 to 2023, and I am incredibly grateful for all the support he provided.

George consistently offered valuable resources and took the time to understand the challenges I faced. He guided me on how to best communicate and adapt to situations with my university, ensuring my needs were met. He also helped by proofreading my English and setting up remote sessions.

George translated brief assignments from English to BSL remotely, which was incredibly helpful for my understanding and communication. I have been a student with George from Home Tuition for the Deaf for nearly two years, and I couldn't be more grateful for the support and guidance he has provided. George is an exceptionally patient teacher with an immense wealth of knowledge, and he has been a key part of my educational journey.

My path has not been easy. Born profoundly deaf, I received a Cochlear implant at the age of 3. My experience in mainstream schools was challenging, and things only began to improve when I transferred to a Deaf school at age 13. Throughout my education, English was always a struggle for me.
