Making reading fun
Each page in a book, and consequently each new book, progresses my daughter’s learning at the ideal rate. She is loving to read, thanks to these colorful stories. The star stickers are a great addition, in that she rewards herself after completion of every few pages. Thanks Hooked on Phonics for making reading fun!

It Worked 40 Years Ago and It Works Today!
Our daughter learned to read with Hooked on Phonics. She loved it and was reading well before she entered Kindergarten. Our grandgirls are using the program now and are enjoying reading for the first time. Thank you for making this life skill so much fun.

Definitely worthwhile
Love the hooked on phonics application. My daughter at 6 years old has made definite improvements with her reading adding this in our routine. We (my daughter and I) have one complaint, and that there's not enough variety in the games. There are days it takes some coaxing to make it all the way through a lesson of another very predictable game.

Love it but don’t get your money’s worth
I love the stuff I have received but I am very dissatisfied with the pricing. When I signed up the website said your first month is only $1 and every month after is only $6.99. Well it was a lie my first month was $6.99 and every month after has been $15.98. I feel I don’t get $15.98 worth of material and I’m having a hard time canceling my subscription.

After that, our monthly subscription program costs $12.99 plus $2.99 for shipping for a total of $15.98 a month. The cost of the App access is $6.99 and the Practice Packs are $6 plus $2.99 shipping. You’ll receive a workbook, 2-3 storybooks, stickers and access to our App each month.
You may cancel at any time for any reason. You may sign into your dashboard 24/7 at www.hookedonphonics.com/dashboard any time to adjust your subscription settings, message us here on Facebook, email us at contact@hookedonphonics.com, or call 1-888-605-5055, Monday through Friday, 9AM – 5PM ET. I preferred the hooked on phonics set…
I preferred the hooked on phonics set that I ordered and got sent to the house , the entire set. We worked really well with my daughter with the flash cards and advanced with her as we saw fit. I don't really like this once a month kit that comes. I do like that hooked on phonics is still available. It's an excellent resource.

I really love this
I really love this! I’ve been reading these books to my son since he was one and he’s really enjoying them and so am I 🥰 His vocabulary is through the roof at this point and he’s only two. 🙌🏼🥰

6 year old. Spanish Dual Immersion Student
My son is 6 years old and he is in a Dual Immersion Program for Spanish and I wanted him to learn to read in English as well and this Program helped him so much. He is able to read at his own pace and is able to go back and refresh his memory if he forgets something. We are even able to redo the entire lessons to better strengthen his knowledge. 10 out of 10 recommend

So far this is the only program that…
So far this is the only program that has helped my son. I used abcmouse and reading eggs because they were recommended. They are fun, but not too helpful.

H.O.P. Helped my daughter!
My daughter pushed back a bit in the beginning but over time her confidence grew. The workbook and flash cards seemed to work better than the iPad app because I wasn’t able to sit with her every time with the iPad. I am very grateful to have had Hooked on Phonics during the pandemic and Preschool. I feel my daughter will be better prepared for kindergarten this because of the program. Thank you for everything!

The content is great but the animation…
The content is great but the animation makes some of the letter confusing. Like the Q and g and odd. Also the app itself is a little buggy sometimes. Makes you repeat modules when you’ve previously completed.
The animation isn’t that exciting to my 5 year old anymore
