Great location 👍🏻
Might be worth mentioning that the parking space is VERY tight!
The property was good but could definitely benefit from some tlc, a lick of paint & a deep clean.
The bathrooms could do with towel rails as there is nowhere to hang your damp towels.
The middle floor bathroom needs a grab rail over the bath, unfortunately one of our guests slipped and fell getting out of the shower, there was nothing to hold on to 😢
We had a good stay and enjoyed Whitby regardless.

A lovely cottage, very clean & well equipped, comfy bed & pillows, modern shower room, a beautiful fireplace in the lounge, good size kitchen with everything you might need & more besides - except wine glasses - there was none ! The cottage is a solid stone building so no noise from adjoining cottages, it was warm in the evenings as the sun shone in all day. Two large smart tv's as well. The cottage is on a very narrow single track road with no passing places , be aware! The cottage is ideally placed for visiting the area, 5 mins from Bamburgh,10 mins to Seahouses, 20 mins to Alnwick, 20 mins to the causeway to Lindisfarne. Personally, I loved this little cottage, I could live there, beautiful place. I booked through Bookings. Com.Host & Stay gave us everything we needed, answered messages promptly & dealt efficiently throughout but check out the small print for additional charges for cleaning & insurance as it came as a suprise to me & it bumped up the price of the 4 day break. Highly recommended

We would definitely stay again amble is a lovely village. The Outlook from the apartment is amazing .a marina view the sea as far as you can see all the rooms had everything you could want it would be lovely any time of year.

Lovely little place for a weekend stay. Good communication from the host who answered my many questions and in a timely way. The cottage was clean and tidy and had the essentials that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds comfortable. Unfortunatley we didn't get to spend much time relaxing there as we were out! The cottage was a perfect location for the ultra marathon event I was attending and was pretty much on the course. There was room for 1 medium car and another slightly bigger one with some careful parking so as not to cause obstruction. Overall a lovely stay.

5⭐️ apartment, attention to detail spot on , perfect location

Door to apartment was difficult to lock and unlock, advertised as stairs to apartment but not the number and it being on the top floor. Would be no use to anyone with mobility issues.
Host advised scaffolding up at property but weren't aware work was taking place outside our rooms.
Fantastic view from rear bedroom and comfortable bed.
In need of a deep clean, furniture, bathroom in particular.

Brilliant location to explore the local area which was the main reason we booked.

7 of us came for a celebration weekend. Loved the accommodation, great views really spacious. We had a fantastic stay. Read the reviews before we came and some were bad but we thought the place was fab.

Great accommodation, perfect location, human and dog friendly. In fact, exactly what we were looking for.

Great location, very clean, easy and prompt communication.

The location of the accommodation is great, everything in the city centre is in walking distance, there's no need for public transport.
The apartment is in the middle of a lively section of the city, with bars, pubs, clubs & places to eat literally right on your doorstep. It is quite noisy at the weekend but we were aware of this before our stay, the pubs next to the apartment has live music till 2am but remains open until 6am.
There is a car park literally across the road & visible from the apartment but is quite pricey, we came by train and the station is a 15 minute walk away.
The apartment is large & spacious, there are 3 beds, a double bed in the bedroom and 2 pull out sofa beds. The sofa beds aren't the comfiest as the mattresses are very thin and could do with replacing.
The bathroom is nice & spacious with a walk in shower. Towels and bedding are plentiful and provided.
This apartment is ideal if you have come for a night on the tiles but not for a relaxing weekend.

Quirky old house - excellently maintained in a perfect location.
Great facilities.
Only one car parking space but large free car parks minutes walk away.

The townhouse had fantastic views.great showers and good beds .but there where a few problems which all got reported to host and stay and nothing was done the main one being not getting internet and the TV not working when you logged onto WiFi it went to a BT login which need the owners details contacted host and stay nothing sorted so three days with out .also previous people before had same problem and others in August .then there where damage to door handle . microwave broken .toaster only worked on me side. and down stairs bedroom window would not open .it s but much when you try to sell damage wavier fees and when you get there thing are already broken . A lot of these problems are written in guest book from beginning of August so why aren't they being sorted out .

Such a lovely little house right in the heart of Barnard Castle, well equipped, nice and clean and such a easy check-in process. If like us you want to spend some time in and around Barnard Castle we would recommend this property.

It was a lovely flat, well positioned to enjoy the area.
Very clean with excellent beds and facilities. Big bonus for me was the private garden that my dog very much enjoyed. There was even a welcome message on the wall note pad which I thought was a lovely gesture. Thank you for making it a great holiday.

Gorgeous lodge, brilliant location. Great communication from host, amazing place for a break away from the norm. Booking was simple and has all the facilities you'd need. Defo recommend 👌
