Website in accurate. Doctors cannot give online prescription of medication that you have forgotten to bring o
The website says that the doctors can give prescription for medication via video call. I had forgotten to bring Metformin with me for the one week trip so I wanted to see the doctor (from my hotel room) to get a prescription.
The website did NOT say that I will need to have a thermometer to measure my temperature or the ability to test my blood sugar levels.
When I registered, I made it very clear that I wanted to get a prescription.
When the nurse and the interpreter logged on, the spent about 15 mins trying to get me to take a picture of my Passport and another 10 mins trying to explain to me where the pharmacy is that may carry Metformin. They NEVER told me that I needed to tell the doctor my temperature or blood sugar levels.
When the doctor appeared, I said very clearly that I needed a prescription for Metformin. He wanted my temperature and blood sugar level. There was NO way I could give him that from a hotel room. I told him to end the consultation so that I will not take up more of his time. I told him, I will not pay. He then gave me advise that I did not need about what food to not to eat and how I didn't need the Metformin for a week ( I can get this advice by emailing my own doctor back in my home country).
In essence, the service CANNOT support online prescription. It should NOT claim that it can. I should have gone to see a doctor in a clinic.
