A sammer
I had a very concerning experience with hotels.stafftraveler.com and feel others should be warned.
I booked a hotel room that was clearly advertised as being 111 sqm, and I was charged a higher price based on that large room size. However, when I directly contacted the hotel to confirm my reservation before arrival, I was told the actual room size was only 50 sqm â less than half of what was advertised.
In other words, I was being charged a premium price for a much smaller, cheaper room than what was promised. This is extremely misleading and unacceptable.
Fortunately, I verified with the hotel in advance, and I was able to cancel the booking before arrival, avoiding a major financial loss. But this could easily happen to other travelers who donât double-check.
â ïž My advice: Always confirm directly with the hotel if you use this site â or better yet, stay away entirely. Based on my experience, the listing information cannot be trusted.
