Service? Only the best! Not to mention the product too!!

The team reached out to let us know that their last few bar stools we loved and ordered had been damaged they offered us an immediate refund or store credit. We decided to wait until stock came through which may have been up to 8 weeks. A week later stock arrived and we had our stools a few days after this notice. The stools are stunning, sturdy and came assembled. Shipping was quick considering their sheer size! Customer support team were considerate in informing us every moment there were changes. Absolutely love the product and the service was far superior than any other furniture store we’ve dealt with. Well done everyone! So worth the wait and we’ll buy again if we fall in love with any other products. 🥰

I have requested something 10 times. No response. No phone number either

I honestly can’t believe this company. I had something in my cart that was not meant to be on my order. It went through. I have sent them over 10 emails asking them to cancel the item. They won’t respond. It’s got to the point I am going to cancel my whole order. It’s caused me so much hassle and time. I don’t do business with negative people. I don’t want their items in my home. If they can not respond to me. What does that say. They are just going to deliver it and expect me to pay all the expense in returning a large item that a mistake was made on. Which I have told them about 10 times. They have no phone number. They changed over one of my items and expected me just to accept it. Yet won’t respond to me. It’s double standards. Unbelievable. Shocking. They think they are high end. There joking.

Little update. They delivered everything. Blocked me into my apartment. Now 17 July. Have had to cancel everything. Can’t even let clients or take my dog for a walk. Totally blocked in. Still can’t contact them by phone. They don’t seem to see the problem.

We’ve looked into your communication with our team and can confirm that we responded to every email you sent, each within 24 hours. Our support team is available nearly 20 hours a day via email and live chat, and we always aim to assist our customers as promptly and helpfully as possible.

When we received your request to cancel the item, the order had unfortunately already been dispatched. We informed you of this immediately and provided details of our returns policy, which you kindly acknowledged. Once an item has left our warehouse, we are unable to stop the delivery mid-transit — something we completely understand can be frustrating in these situations.

We would also like to clarify that we have no access to or control over what is placed in a customer's cart. Checkout is only completed by the customer themselves, and nothing is processed on our end until the order has been placed and paid for.

Additionally, no changes or substitutions were made to your order. All items you placed through checkout were in stock at the time and processed automatically through our system. Any changes to orders are always communicated in advance, but in this case, everything was dispatched exactly as ordered.

We genuinely tried our best to assist with your return. While change-of-mind returns usually require the customer to arrange the return, we made an exception in your case and organised collection for the two large items to support you. We also escalated your request with our courier partner in hopes of securing an earlier collection. While courier availability is outside our control, we can confirm that the collection was successfully completed.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience this caused you and want to thank you again for your patience throughout. We’re always here to help and remain committed to providing the best possible service to all our customers.

VERY EXPENSIVE RETURNS

I ordered a faux eucalyptus tree which did not suit our house, when going to return the item it was going to cost close to $450 in return fees, almost the same as the tree itself. If you are purchasing large items and not sure if they are going to work in your space be very mindful of the return fee. Customer service were not accommodating in helping to find a cheaper alternate

As noted in our returns policy on the website, we’re always happy to accept returns, and our customers are welcome to arrange this with a courier of their choice. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over the return shipping fees, as these are set by the courier companies.

To help out, we’ve suggested some of the more cost-effective couriers we typically work with. As a courtesy, we also reached out to let you know we can assist by organising the collection from our end if that’s easier for you — we’re just waiting to hear back from you regarding that.

Disappointing customer service

I ordered 6 outdoor chairs to go around our fire pit area to arrive in time for my husband’s birthday. I was then informed that the chairs I ordered were actually out of stock and that I’d have to wait another 2 months for them to arrive. I explained how disappointing this was and all they could offer me was a $20 voucher on my next order
 I’m afraid $20 wasn’t going cut it after the amount I’d already spent on the chairs and shipping. I won’t be ordering from here again.

Just to clarify, as soon as we received your order, we reached out to let you know that the chairs were unexpectedly out of stock and provided the estimated timeframe for the next shipment. At that point, we offered you the option to cancel and receive a full refund. You kindly confirmed that you were happy to wait for the restock.

We do our best to keep customers informed every step of the way, and your order was delivered in Mid May as scheduled. We also offered a $20 voucher as a gesture of goodwill—not in place of your order, but simply to thank you for your patience and understanding.

As a small business, we genuinely care about our customers and always aim to be transparent and fair. We never want anyone to feel ignored or disappointed, and we hope you’ll consider updating your review to reflect the full context.

House of Fun

Well let's start with the website. I was scrolling the site and found this mirror. I put it in the cart and was scrolling down to apply the discount code, but it didn't scroll, instead purchased the mirror. I'm not sure if that is some sort of scam thing with Shop, or something else, but it went straight to purchase. I sent an email straight away to House of Isabella to let them know and stop the purchase, but by the time they got back to me, it had gone through. I was stuck with what I had accidentally bought. The mirror arrived a few days or so later, but I couldn't put it up straight away. When my hubby was able to put it up, that's when we saw it. The bottom and top of the mirror frame is clearly bowed, in different directions, which you can clearly see in the pictures. That made the mirror distorted, like being in a fun house. Their website says that refunds have to be within 24 hrs, which we didn't know as we didn't unpack within that time. And packaging has to be kept, who does that, or a refund is not issued. Well I have filled out the refund form, so we'll see if I get a refund.

I purchased the Cayman console table


I purchased the Cayman console table and is was a preorder purchase so there was a wait time. Though out that time I received updates on the delivery via emails.
The wait was definitely worth it 😊 the quality and detail is very good . It is something you don’t see in the masses.
I would purchase again from The House of Isabella.

Unhappy

Hi , I purchased 4 foot stools , when they arrived they were miniature , I found your website was misleading, yes I didn’t look at dimensions as I put in foot stools , emailed your customer service, only for Jenny to say they can’t be refunded, and stated the dimensions on the email , bottom line can get a store credit, which I don’t want, so I’m extremely disappointed, I buy a lot of things online & never ever have I counted this before, as I stated they were still in box , was aware I had to pay for postage, that also was a rip off paid $138 for delivery, when I said that to Jenny she basically said it goes buy the size etc , also no customer phone number that I could find , so won’t be buying anything from your site , regards Dianne moignard.

Two beautiful Chinese inspired pots


Two beautiful Chinese inspired pots from Florabelle took my eye on the House of Isabella website. The Cherry Blossom planter, and the Tang planter have both taken up residence at my island home, now resplendent with maidenhair ferns. I mention island as many online sellers will not deliver to my island. Well done House of Isabella! QLD
