I'm your typical clueless broke girl with points on my licence and Howdens have been bending over backwards to help me get the best deal. It doesn't matter how often I call, how silly my questions are or how much I change my mind, or how ignorant or frustrated I am; they are genuinely empathetic about all insurance related nightmares, explain all the jargon in ways I can understand it, and do all the pain in the butt legwork that normally leaves me spiralling. To be able to walk into the shop without an appointment and have a face to face chat with the person helping me is invaluable, I really can't recommend them enough!!

Have a PHI claim with a six month excess. Due to their delays, claim will not be settle for at least 3 months passed the excess period.

As a charity trustee it was really great to receive such good service from Casey at Howdens Norwich. Not only that we saved just under £1,000 on our existing policy.

I dealt with Nilesh Palmer from start to finish, made the whole process super easy, didn't hassle me at all and I could call a number and a person answered which made everything much simpler plus they were nearly £500 cheaper than my renewal. Win win

What a difference it makes to speak to a human being when discussing your policy. The service and support from this company is second to none. Highly recommended. Absolutely smashed my renewal quote from another company. Spoke with Ross who was outstanding an even secured a house insurance policy from me as soon as we renewed car insurance. No more online chats with AI or someone with broken English from now on this company has what it takes to deliver first class customer service.

After purchasing a Campervan I was concerned about how I’d get insurance to include my other vehicles as the Campervan had modifications etc…
Well, I had no need to worry as after being recommended Howdens Insurance, I contacted the York Branch and both Jack and Liam managed to sort me out.
I ended up with 2 cars being similar to what I was paying for and a bespoke Campervan fully comp insurance cover for a price I was very happy with.
So, that’s 3 vehicles in our household fully covered with excellent first class service received from the Howdens, York branch.

Just renewed my Motorhome insurance and chose Howdens this time as their underwriters are a premium company AXA and I had a very positive attitude from Kerry their agent who answered all my questions in a very knowledgeable manner and was friendly and polite

We have used Howdens in Bury St Edmund’s for a number of years. We find the level of service and their willingness to help of a very high standard. Luca could not have been any more helpful if he had tried ,our house insurance was up for renewal and our original quote was in our opinion too high ! He managed to reduce it to a level that suited our needs! Thx very much and we will continue to use Howdens for our insurance.

Unbelievably poor service.

Have been waiting for a policy refund and every week it will be "refunded next week".

Have emailed the compliance email to complain and no reply to that.

Appalling.

Amy Conroy from Howdens, Witney arranged the renewal of my car Insurance. I was very pleased with the service I received. She was thorough and very knowledgeable and thorough. I have moved over to Howdens in the last 12 months as my go to Insurance Brokers. I have dealt with different departments for various insurances and the whole experience is very satisfying to know that nothing is too much trouble.

In my opinion Howdens in Maidenhead is the worst company to deal with. Have had an insurance claim outstanding since January and still nowhere near to being resolved. They hooked us up with Accelerant a company who have no morals and a history of not paying out. I have no idea why they would put anybody through a company like this. They stopped returning calls and emails and gave a ridiculous quote to reinsure the property. They have been very happy to take money for insurance for over 40 years and in that time there has been one very small claim.

We have been with Howden’s Insurance Brokers for some years now. During that time we have always dealt with knowledgeable and friendly staff who have done their very best to get us a good quotation for buildings and contents insurance. We are shortly moving house and Kimberley Phillips at Macclesfield branch was excellent in cancelling our existing policy and setting up a revised policy for our new home. She was very thorough and professional but also had a great sense of humour which made the task a lot less arduous. Thank you Kimberley for all your kind support and for working beyond closing time to get the job done. Much appreciated!

I was insured through Howdens with a large insurance company. I informed Howdens of the loss of my hearing aid snd I was dealt with sympathy and with care. They passed me over to the insurance company but in stead of leaving it at that, Tony made contact with me twice until he was assured I had a good result from the insurance company.

Best insurance broker I have every dealt with a guy called Gary went above and beyond to sort cover for my custom motorbikes

Samuel Riley was extremely helpful and very polite and easy to deal with when arranging our new car cover. It wasn't a straightforward request either and he dealt with it with absolutely no issues at all.
