The worst auction in the entire country. They lie, lie lie lie, customer service is horrible. You have to wait in the phone for over 45 minutes to get someone on the phone and they won't help you nor even try. If you don't believe me try it 877 937-4243 their phone before you purchase anything. The same goes for their Jacksonville branch. THEY REALLY SUCK.

This place is burnt out, Spokane wa location. The lie and lie and lie, rip you off on stupid fees that are mind blowing. Damage vehicles with forklifts and lie thats how they came. They take false pictures and lie on the description. Their manager and customer service is terrible. The most rude and pathetic people I have ever spoke to. They used to be a good place to buy cars until the management changed. They need to fire everyone and start over. I never thought this place would become such a parasite infested bottom feeding crap hole.

I won the car in Canvey Island, United Kingdom, they listed car as runs and drives but when it arrived the gearbox found to be faulty car can't move from truck.
I talked with Manager Lauran and want to return the car but she didn't helped, I asked for number of Area Manager, she didn't give any information.
Do not buy any car from this fraud company, as per consumer law I can return the car, as the description is wrong.

My review is on their Transport. Their customer service is for the most part good. I have bean waiting for my car for 20 days since I won my auction! Since I have had it shipped, I have had 5 estimates that have HAVE BEEN TOTAL BS! I have called IAA about 3-5 times now asking for a new estimate on the date of arrival with their response always being that it would come the next day. They have no control over their venders! There is NO COMMUNICATION with the vender from buyer! It has been a week since my first estimate of when my car should be here and have still not received it! I am very pissed off!

I have recently purchased a vehicle from this company...based on the listing the car was able to run and drive, only a small body damage.... in the pictures it looked very good and ready to drive but at the time of pick up the vehicles interior was full of dirt, stained, the driver seat ripped and worst of all A BLOWN ENGINE (Not specified in the listing)

After a purchase you cannot return the vehicle, all they told me on the phone was....DEAL WITH IT YOURSELF

not only they sold it for a high price because it was only a small body damage but now i cannot even resell this junk box because with a blown engine no one wants it and fixing it goes beyond the market selling price.

Wont recommend buying fom them!

Insurance companies liberally cancel sales for auctions won if they do not get their high prices. It is an auction site stacked way against the buyers.

I bought a car via buy it now and after I do the cashier check they notify me that the seller canceled the sale

this place needs to be expose and investigated. WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM HERE ITS A SCAM AND RIP OFF.YOU CAN DO BETTER WITH OTHER AUCTIONS TAKE THE ADVICE OR LEAVE IT.......

they will never sell it if you win an auction at the price they do not like it , they also do the shil bidding to rise the price witch is elegal in united states , and have to be investigated by the police

I'm very upset with the way these people do things they dont give u a chance to clean out ur vehicle instead they take all ur stuff trash included n put it all in a bag common sense would be to throw the trash away n put belongings in a bag for them some of my items are missing as well my prescription sunglasses being one of those things they have no right to go in and do that they need to let u clean out ur stuff ur self. All my change in car is gone as well

Sold a car to me with New York titles knowing fully well that I can export the car. They now want me to pay for a car I can't export due to the ban on export of cars from New York. I've written to them for a solution and all they are say is I should pay for the car and hope the problem is resolved soon. I an also be be paying storage fees till when ever the US government allows new york cars to be exported. Make no sense to me.

I won an auction yesterday for Stock # 27229572. I received confirmation stating that I was the high bidder and to submit payment. The money was wired. I subsequently received word from the auction company (iaai) that they had chosen not to sell the car after all. I, as a consumer do not have the option to "back out" of a contracted auction price, or "change my mind". I AM OBLIGATED, They are licensed and bonded to auction vehicles but they can "change their mind" after the fact ???? What is going on?!

Never, never, never do business with this company.

i always pay with a wire transfer from my bank in the states to the iaai account
i always include my buyer # for them to know where the money is coming from and it was working fine
my last transfer of almost 8488$ to pay for a vehicle posted in their account on time before any late fees occurs
but they lost the transfer . i called the iaai corporate many times and it takes over 25 minutes for them to answer your call i called them 5 times during the week to follow they asked for a proof of the transfer and after they found it they charged me between 800$ and 1000$ in late fees and storage even though they received this money on time they never waived it for me
i asked to speak with supervisors they sayed they dont have manager in charge just voice message, and then when they have time , they're going to call you. ( lie)

i am with IAAI for so many years. And this new administration make it feel like you are in a Comunist country.
They sayed " costumer are responsable for all fees"
so we are responsable for that ashole who doesnt check the emails from Exporter costumers.
Better to buy Brand New From CHINA. "New is New"

the employees lie , they asked me to call the branch to waive the fees and branch manager says she can't waive any fees before receiving an email from corporate
dealing with IAAI is hell and waste of money and time

To anyone wanting to work with them,

DON'T! The only reason I have had to deal with them is because they deal with the insurance company of a lady who smashed into my parked car. They're awful and have no sense of customer service. I have contacted them three tomes and have been on hold to get the "next available representative" for the course of 45 minutes for the first try 30 minutes for the second try and another 15 min for the third try. This is not the first day I have tried to reach out to them. The last time I was on hold for an hour! I have sent two emails asking what THEY NEED FROM ME to settle the claim. And alas they have not answered me in this time. They sent me the wrong documents the first time and it took me calling the insurance company to find out they had the wrong info (a week later) and then they took till the next week to send me the right forms. It has been since December 10th when my car got hit I already have a new car and I am still waiting to get my car settled. Mind you none of this was my fault so they just need the information to take care of it and then my car is taken care of.

DON"T USE THEM IF YOU HAVE ANY CHOICE IN THE MATTER!

they just changed there format again! this is to benefit iaa only! and there consignees!!! no longer able to determine if it is private party sale or insurance! do not buy from private party! molested or they found something you dont want to know! buy insurance only.
but now you cannot tell whos who! this company already destroys the car after you purchase with there forklift! in addition they are hiding the complete vin number! hum what is the purpose of that! really!!!
come on people get a clue!

The last update is very complicated, failed and inconvenient

The Fork lift Damaged my car. They Forklift the cars to were they can be picked up and they say before the auction they are not responsible. Very scary. The main office has pre-wriitten excuses built in. So while the vehicles are in their possession the buyer is 100% at risk, Very dangerous business practices. Their arrogance is beyond comprehension.
