iCanStudy is a great course that teaches you a completely different way of thinking about information and learning. The time per content spent studying decreased drastically, and the mastery of the knowledge grew rapidly. Before I joined the course, I basically learned everything I needed to know by rote (mostly using digital flashcards). Now, I basically don't learn anything by rote (I created exactly 2 flashcards in my final years of high school after joining the course). But it is not just that: You learn a whole new system of studying consisting of time management, task management, ways to avoid procrastination etc. For me, one of the most important things I am starting to see more and more value in the more I progress is metacognition. You are getting more aware of your mental processes leading to mistakes, and therefore you can improve faster than others who aren’t metacognitive, as they can’t easily find the root of the mistake.
Is it easy? No, it isn't. It is a process that takes a lot of effort and practice. But you are not alone. There is a great community, and you have the possibility to speak to the coaches directly and let them analyse your work with you.
How can this be so unique and why can't I just watch YouTube videos from my favourite study streamer and copy what they are doing, I mean it works for them? Well, you can, but the technique that your favourite study streamer uses is very likely the technique that over 90% of the people use. If the technique itself is so good, why doesn't everyone achieve 95%+ on average in exams? It may work for them because they may have a high base intelligence or other skills to compensate for it, but it is not the technique. The problem is that the research is way ahead of the practice and that way, better techniques aren't widely spread.
Is it expensive? I don't like the question. It is worth the money because it helps you develop very important skills for your whole life, not just your academic because the skills are useful in almost all scenarios even in social ones.

It was really great having the confirmation that certain parts were done well and others needed some work. The review itself was very insightful and gave me a better idea of where to shift my focus.

ICanStudy is (currently) really the only course centred around not only teaching learning techniques that will provide the desired results in practical, real-life environments, but also helping you apply them consistently. Long gone will be the days when studying for an exam for nights on end be a necessity

The learning techniques are extremely efficient, giving you the ability to cover tons of material while reaching a high level of mastery without forgetting it in just a few days. However, to reach this point, will take time and effort.

The course builds on the fundamentals of learning and self-management, making sure that the necessary base is there and is giving the most immediate benefit before delving into the more complex and advanced ideas and techniques.

I agree that this may seem too intimidating and arduous at first, but the ICanStudy team will always be there to help. They regularly set up live clinics, meetings with coaches and provide constant feedback on their Discord server. Speaking of the Discord server, the ICanStudy community is full of other learners who are also there to improve and together can make the journey easier and more enjoyable.

All in all, taking this course has been one of the greatest opportunities I've ever had and I haven't even finished it yet. I absolutely recommend this course to anyone willing to become an independent and efficient learner!

It was very indepth, criticial, and exactly what I needed to hear! The effort that Is put in is so extremely helpful!

Enrolling in this course was probably one of the most important decisions in my life!
Being an active member since 2021, I managed to maintain high results (mostly As), while reducing the time spent on revision and memorization. On top of that, self-management techniques (like task and time management) as well as a welcoming and friendly community have helped me become more experimental and growth-oriented, resulting in consistent and orderly progress that I've never experienced before!

With that said, there is only one caveat (or, in fact, a feature) in all of this: iCanStudy is not a walk in the park. Even though you are constantly improving your technique, you still need diligent practice to succeed!
Despite this, the level of guidance and support from the coaches and regular members makes this process as easy as you can imagine; and the results you get are truly phenomenal!

In conclusion, I would recommend iCanStudy to anyone who is interested in improving their learning efficiency and self-management in order to spend time on things and people that matter the most to them!

iCanStudy is a masterclass in applying modern principles of cognitive science, self-regulation, and educational performance for students of any age, any experience level, and any subject matter. While the course is consistently difficult at every stage, there are adequate opportunities for feedback and correction. Persistent students willing to push themselves intellectually and venture outside of their comfort zone will ultimately come away with the hard earned confidence to set ambitious goals and take on academic challenges.

I have been part of the iCanStudy course for over 12 months, and it has completely transformed my approach to learning. The course provides techniques that can completely elevate your studying capability and also transform your mindset surrounding learning and life as a whole.

I would highly recommend this course to any student who is looking to better themselves. It may require some hard work and effort, but the course can genuinely transform your entire studying power, your grades and possibly even your career!

The discord community is extremely active and there are many great ways to gain feedback on your work. The coaches are extremely dedicated and offer extensive feedback which is incredibly valuable.

I want to say a massive thank you to ICS. As a struggling final-year pharmacy student, I had no idea how to study effectively, and my grades were consistently mediocre (C level). However, thanks to ICS's guidance and expertise, I have made significant improvements in my academic performance.

I am thrilled to report that my recent test results came back, and I achieved a B+! This grade may seem small to some people, but to me, it's a tremendous achievement, and I couldn't have done it without ICS's help :)

ICS is a course that works on fundamentally shifting your ability to process information, and seeing the same information from different perspectives. It is not a shallow fix of a deeply rooted problem (eg - most mainstream advice in regards to studying.) In fact, ICS really tackles studying AFTER the first 3 or so hours of the course's videos; wherein more mindset, procrastination, and time/task management related issues are talked about, and resolved.

ICS's major selling point is it's constant and consistent feedback. It is the major selling point of the course, but also it's biggest lacking. The coaches that give feedback are all people that have extremely nuanced knowledge of the techniques taught and can immediately help you in identifying where you've made mistakes. However, due to the very complex nature of the techniques, the number of coaches are also very little in comparison to the number of people taking the course, which results it taking a lot of time to receive feedback, without spending more money. If this is fixed, I truly believe it is a course worth 5 stars.

Problems I faced before joining iCS

Final Remarks:

-> This is a “Skill-building” journey, and as with any skill, you NEED to give TIME to build on these new habits and ways of learning. I took the whole year package as its economical in the long-term and saves money.

Mind blowing information that is not intuitive at all! Justin's course is clearly based on so much research- it has become very clear to me now why i have been obtaining only poor grades all these years. Thank You Justin for stretching my understanding which shed light on 1- my own studying discrepancies/illusions of learning and 2) helping me to realize what my future potential CAN BE when I fix these discrepancies. Thank you for giving me back my Future- by making my goals attainable once more.

Justin summarised and explained very clearly five techniques to do spaced repetition for declarative, procedural and hybrid types of knowledge.

The insight provided here by Justin, the coordinator of the site is both logical and practical on a very complex nuanced subject like learning and the process of revision. When you’re struggling or have trouble understanding why what you’re doing doesn't seem to work, he gives you a mindset to frame in order to asses your own learning. You learn both the what and why as well as the how. There’s a lot of support from both the community and team. It’s quite informative, practical, and uniquely structured. It's the ultimate program for learning.

The iCanStudy (iCS) course has truly been a game-changer for me. I never realized that learning is a skill that can be developed. But the iCS course provided me step-by-step approach - how to replace limiting habits with science-based, efficient techniques. It empowered me to overcome procrastination, manage my time effectively, and adopt a growth mindset.

I used to put in 7-8 hours of study per day, but I never knew if my efforts would translate into the results I wanted. This uncertainty made me feel worried. But the iCS course taught me that learning is like any other skill - it can be acquired through the right practice.
